If I could leave 0 stars I would. Worst credit card I have ever had! I had a nail in 1 tire. Because of the tire tread between my tires with only 20K miles I had to buy all 4 tires for 1K to keep my 4K power train warranty from being void on my AWD. Was told I could get $160 card to use if I applied for CFNA Firestone card. As it turns out the headache from this one card isn't worth $10,000 rebate. They expect payment in 14 business days so even if you send a check & pay off balance there will be a $29 late fee. If you call them there is a $5.00 fee to pay by debit card. That fee then adds a $29.late fee on the next billing cycle. There is also a paper fee for billing which of course ensures an additional $29 late fee. I have paid it off so many times and always another fee. I tried to sign up for paperless billing on my 3rd attempt at paying it off to avoid another paper fee to be told I need 2phones or 1 phone plus a laptop to get that set up but need to try after 24 to 48 hrs to complete because their system is "currently under scrutiny" I set up an email solely for this card to get paperless billing so if you try CFNAsucks just know it's already taken and in 2days I will attempt again to get paperless billing hopefully before their next billing cycle & scam fees show up. Wish me luck!

This is one of the worst credit card companies I've ever used. I'll spare you the rant; just read the other reviews because it's all true.

I have been a customer of CFNA for many years and always had decent service from them to recently. my monthly payment notice got stuck in my spam folder accidentily. I received 15 calls from them in one day and with all of the spam calls ignored the call. I finally answer the call and was notified that I was late by 3 days. I explained the situation to them and asked if I could have any late fees waived based on my 100% great payment history and explained that it was an honest mistake. They said no and sorry they could not help me. Buyer beware, their service is decent, but their billing is the worst that I have seen.

Loan sharks. I was told by firestone if I got the card the first purchase is under promotion. Only the first. $379 fine. I didn't pay it all off on time. Promotional over they added $108. I had to fix my car again $700 fine. Payments $65 monthly. Never told it was under promotion until today when they added $168 saying promotion ended. Im like what promotion i was told only the first purchase was promotional not anything after. That purchase was October 2025. Now June my balance is back up to $1366. What ia joke. It's like they dont want you to pay it. I closed my card on November of last year. Not worth it. Could have done a payday loan if i wanted a loan shark.

instead of stars, they should have a thumbs down. don’t ever get this card and if you do have it, cancel it right away you’ll be thanking me..

Customer service... while at Firestone, my card was declined. Talked to Customer Twice and could not be told why the card was declined (I've been customer with card for more than 15 years). Told to wait while the card 'Refreshed', and then use it again.... but no one could tell me how long it took the card to 'Refresh'.. days, weeks, months, years??? Finally put the purchase on Visa. CFNA gives poor service and ruins Firestone's reputation...

I agree with ALL of the bad reviews given for Credit First aka CFNA. Avoid them at all costs. My belief is that they intentionally choose not to apply payments to get interest and/or charge late fees.
But if you MUST have a car repair done and do not have the money. Try to borrow from a loan shark first. You may have better luck! Just kidding. But try any other means first or pay in full ASAP

Applied for a card because they offer $100 to do so. Never got the $100 never received the card in the mail. Called them after a few weeks to ask about the card. OMG what a scam they said that I had a late payment fee. Couldn’t log in because not receiving a card I didnt know my account number. What a scam and their customer service is terrible. Don’t apply for any cards from these people. I immediately paid the balance in full done with them as they are a scam. They set things up so they can collect fees and charge a cray interest rate of 35%. Don’t use their credit as you will regret it.

Another company sells off your debt makes you a targeted individual I got disabled and can't pay my bills now they follow threat harassment hire people to do illegal stuff to you be careful debt collectors are evil.

There is a consistent inability to allow the customer to manage the account and pay when desired. I closed my first account, as they charged an absorbent fee to get a paper statement vs. other legitimate banks, as well as, fees that rival unethical title companies. This time, they refused to let me pay off my balance, as I had already scheduled a minimum payment for the month. What company prevents you from paying them...absurd. Well, I am left to wait for my next statement to make the ONE payment a month I am allowed. I will definitely NEVER use them again. Aside from their practices, the customer service staff is very nice and professional. You can hear their frustration with the company's practices.

If you make a purchase that qualifies you for rewards, they will not credit the rewards to your account for months so they can make in that interest. There should be a class action lawsuit against all their predatory moves. Awful customer service and keeps you on the phone forever!!! Most pathetic card I have.

Don't waste your time with this credit card. It only works sometimes, its not accepted everywhere. When you call to have any blocks lifted they tell you that they have no control over this. They tell you its a system issue and to use another card. Do your self a favor and get another card. Close your account with them.

Worst card ever. Husband had a card it was closed and sent to collections settled it flr less than owed and 14 days after settling they reported the amount that was supposed to be forgiven as still owed . I emailed to be told they wont report anything until may13

Then another email saying it will take until may 13 to ensure the funds are secure. I paid by debit which posted the same day. Cfna. Is a fraudulent scamming group. Cheating customers

I applied for a credit card when I had ro buy 4 new tires from Firestone simply because I could pay with no interest for 6 months. After receiving my 2nd paper bill I realized they were charging a fee for it and called about it. The CSR I spoke with confirmed the fee, wouldn't refund it, and advised I could opt out of paper bills and receive them electronically. I did so, then paid off the balance. Something about this credit card isn't right. I tried to log in to my account last night and my password was rejected. I asked to reset it, received a code to do that, then reset my password with the one I initially created. They rejected that and said my new password couldn't be the same as my old one! So why did they reject my old password when it was correct to begin with? Who knows? I am going to call CFNA in the morning and request that they close my account. I don't patronize Firestone often enough to need this card!

I had this card years ago when I was making less than I do now.
U just denied me and I have a credit score of 790!!!! for some BS reasons that make no sense...

Used card, never received bill. Paid off in full thru my bank. Rep told me fiserv refused my payment. Not sure why. Verified their address and acct number with their reps. Recd all sorts of charges. Can't pay by phone,and they refuse checks. Can't speak to anyone in bookkeeping. Email from their reps only. 10 answer, been almost month and no answer.

They DO NOT have an autopay option. I use them for my Car Club membership and that's it. Problem is, ALL my bills are paid thru autopay, everything, except for this one. By the time they start calling you (incessantly, and don't even leave a vm), it's too late. They have already charged you a late fee. They won't refund the fee either. So, that discount I get at my car club, I pay that and some extra to these cave dwellers. Not surprised that their rating here is in the low 1's. It's not like we can rate them ZERO's.

I’ve had an account for over 8 years and they never have offered auto pay. I forgot to schedule a payment and was late by 4 days . I paid right away when I realized what happened but they didn’t waive the late fee , saying it was out of their parameters and they don’t offer a grace period . This is seemingly predatory to me because they do not send out any kind of reminders that you haven’t scheduled a payment nor did they send any kind of warning that the payment would be late . Other companies offer auto pay to help with this issue , it’s absurd that CFNA doesn’t offer this option because people make mistakes and it’s much easier to have it set up with the automatic payment. Other credit cards I have also send out emails saying there isn’t a payment scheduled as a reminder . CFNA doesn’t do this they just send an email saying your statement is ready . Auto pay would fix this !!

As much as I enjoy the availability of this credit for maintenance of my auto, I just got a 64.5% LATE FEE for making a payment less than 24 hours late due to waiting for a slow holiday bank transaction.
