Cats Protection Arvostelua

A year ona and still have not had mu 3 cats back.
Fluffy lady and boy

Not a day goes by when we don't miss you.
This organisation is hateful they lie to make you part with animals and make a profit from them.

Nothing more than a business and hiding from paying business rates and tax.

Disgusting my cats were rehomed against my wishes. I handed them over under false information. I made a complaint to the charities commission last year they agreed I had been treated unfairly and have kept the case on record

Cats protection were great at helping us to adopt our cat. She was exactly as described in adoption forms and the information provided was very helpful. They are organised and the whole process was stress free. You can tell that all the cats are very well cared for. Thank you

I expected things to take a few weeks so was surprised to find I could meet my cat the next day. As she is a very social cat and seemed to like me, I took her home the day I met her and she has settled very well. I wanted an older cat rather than kittens as I am an older adult. the staff were helpful and called me to check on her a couple of times.

The team at Fishcross are excellent and clearly care greatly for the cats in their care. They were so friendly and welcoming and kept us fully informed from start to finish of the adoption process.

I adopted 2 feral kittens from Forth Valley Adoption Centre, the staff were very professional and caring, and supportive throughout the whole process. They were all very knowledgeable, and always the kittens welfare at the forefront. The follow up calls were really helpful and knowing I can contact them for advice anytime is really reassuring. I have the 2 most amazing loving kittens ever. Thank you to the team

I adopted my cat from the Ferndown rehoming centre. Everyone was really lovely, friendly and helpful. I am so happy and the cat I have adopted is perfect for me and my lifestyle. He has settled in really well and also seems happy too!

Adopted my lovely cat from Cat protection. I was so impressed with how smoothly it went and how they followed up for updates and made sure everything was ok.

We adopted a kitten from North Wales Centre in Wrexham. The staff are polite, kind, patient and informative. They made the whole process super easy and provided us with a blanket and food to help Simba move to our house. They also offered additional support and always said we can call them if we had any concerns.

Newbury made the process of adopting a cat straightforward. They have lovely, factual descriptions of all of the cats in the website. My son and I logged an interest for Cookie and were reassured that we were asked to provide details of the home in which Cookie would come to (to make sure we were suitable). We were able to see Cookie within a few days. We found the chattery clean and calm. We were delighted that Cookie had been checked over by a vet, had received all vaccinations needed for homing and that we were provided with her medical record whilst with Cats Protection. We thought the one month’s free pet insurance was great and took the pressure off of us in finding insurance immediately. The various fact sheets/welcome pack was informative and will be good for future reference. We valued the advice given to us for managing Cookie’s first 3 weeks and the weekly follow up calls. We also really liked the shop within the homing centre were we purchased most of Cookie’s ‘gear’. Thank you Cats Protection Newbury.

Birmingham CPL Centre - very friendly, patient, genuinely caring staff, listened to "my previous cat history"and were absolutely spot on with the cat they thought would be just purrfect for me / but most importantly me for her. I especially liked the fact you could visit and see the cats they have for adoption, some rescue places you still can't
My furbaby Mittens is absolutely adorable, rules the house - thank you SO much CPL for all the work you do

The team at Mitcham Cats Protection were wonderful. They were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and we have found a gorgeous little cat who is just right for us. We feel very lucky that they were able to help her as they are asked to take on a huge number of abandoned cats with limited resources. We feel very supported in the adoption.

So I call the cat protection regarding a stray cat that has approached us at the care home I work at, it was hissing but still approaching us like it was scared but needed help, So we had started to feed him and he was so thirsty and hungry. We made him a bed and he's been there 24/7 for couple of weeks.
Cat protection advised me to stop feeding it so it can find it's way home.when I explained I couldn't do that, the line went dead, and they never called me back.
I'm glad I ignored their advice! I take it to the vets today, it was microchiped and been missing for 3 years from a loving home 11 miles away!! Unless it got stuck in a vehicle it would have had to cross a motorway to get to where it was. So no chance of finding its way home! If everyone listens to cat protection telling ppl to not feed stays, then sadly there's alot of desperate furry friends desperate for help being ignored on the streets.
It's the whole point of why owners microchip them!!

Everyone we met was informative and friendly.
Joe matched me with our Coco and she is all we could have wished for. As soon as she stepped out of the cat carrier she made herself at home. She loves everybody. Is comical, clean, easy to feed. Loves all the toys awaiting her. Is very loving and loves a lap. She loved everybody at the vets & made her visit so easy.

Awful organisation had nothing but stress and anxiety with a rehome that hasn't worked out nearly 7 weeks with hardly and surport or anyone showing any willingness to help resolve the issue. I will never have anything to do with cats protection again.

I contacted Cats Protection because there has been an uneutered ginger tom visiting our garden and house for most of the year. He comes in the house at any opportunity and sprays. He also eats my 14-year-old cat's food at every opportunity. I've asked around and nobody has claimed him. I daren't try and catch him in case i get scratched because my health would suffer if that happened. Cats Protection has said they'll come out and catch him, so I've waited in a couple of times now and they never arrived. My cat was a stray and although I love Cats, I'm nearly 68 and don't want another one. I get upset about this cat because he knows he's unloved and unwanted. I live on a main road and I've seen him dodge the traffic a few times to go and mate. Our cat hates him but he's also an outdoor cat and gets very upset about his food being eaten. I'm at my wits end with it. I really hope Cats Protection can help this poor cat because he doesn't look very old, he doesn't appear to be to be nasty, he's a very cute looking cat and I know that if he was neutered, he'd make somebody a lovely pet. Unfortunately I think his fate will be on the main road.

On Saturday 3rd August 2024 I adopted a cat from the Tyneside adoption centre. From start to finish the process was fantastic. Jenny, who I was emailing back and forth for a few weeks before the adoption was great. Provided me with all questionnaires required and asked me for all my required documents, proof of ID, address and homeowner status etc.

I simply emailed photos of these documents through, with no need to provide hard copies which was easy.

When going to meet the cat the facility was clean and you could tell all the staff really cared for the cats and looked after them well. The cats all had fairly nice pens (for a shelter).

Cats protection have been great with myself and I couldn't ask for a better service.

We had a great experience adopting two young cats from the Curridge/Newbury centre.

The staff were lovely, very friendly and informative.

We had three follow-up calls to check on how things were going and good advice given for any questions we asked.

We adopted a wonderful cat from the Harrow homing centre, who is playful and relaxed around the whole family including our 4-year-old daughter. The staff were incredibly helpful and ensured that the adoption process went smoothly.

I HAVE SPONSOR A CAT. AND THEY SAY THEY DON T KNOW ME. MORTIMER
