Carpet Barn & The Bedstore Arvostelua 

Lack of communication between store and carpet fitter. I specifically asked to be rung 30 mins before the fitter arrived as I needed time to get home from work. The fitter was a bit annoyed, verging on rude, because I was not home and said we wasn't told to ring me beforehand. He even threaten to leave I I wasn't there within 20 mins.

Store staff very polite and accompanying. Work hard to get installation date to aline with other deliveries

Carpet laid perfectly. Even went inside cupboards and wardrobes.

The bed itself was fairly priced and of good quality. The delivery was sloppy, two castors were left on the driveway, the new mattress was bent around the stairs despite it being a fully sprung variety that should not have been. The manufacturer care label was also removed by delivery team, necessitating a further phone call to the manufacturers for a replacement. Instead of two delivery men sharing the load between them for each piece of the divan, the attempted method was one half each. The bedroom TV was knocked over due to lack of care once the mattress was in the room. In summary not enough care taken with the delivery aspect of this order.

Recently had the pleasure of having laminate flooring supplied and fitted by this great company!
Have used them several times over many years, always very pleased with the product and customer service.

Carpet Barn is in Longwell green. A very large barn containing flooring of all sorts.
This is my third time buying carpets here due to the range and price of carpets.
This is an independent store with excellent employees who listen and are not pushy.
I would recommend the 3 guys who work there especially Ant who helped me the most. Very friendly and ordinary.

Do not waste your time going to the Poole branch of Carpet Barn. I ordered click LV flooring and arranged that it would be delivered to my house. Eventually I phoned them and was told ' o yes, it had arrived.'
I drove their to collect it, to expedite the process.
A salesperson loaded the boxes into my car. Two boxes had obvious damage, and one was wrapped in plastic (badly). The salesperson assured me that the contents had been checked in the warehouse and was fine, that it was only the cardboard box that was affected. On opening the boxes the click edging of every plank in one box was found to be smashed and un-usable, and some damage to some planks in another box. It was obvious that no-one had checked anything.
Now waiting for replacements.
Appalling service. Do not waste your time going there.

Staff are knowledgeable and interested in what we wanted. They listened and showed us options in our budget. They kept us informed about delivery.

This is the first and last time I will use this company. I ordered some vinyl for my bathroom to be fitted on 9th June, I then had to return to rearrange fitting as I didn't realise the floor needed boarding, I hold my hands up and say this problem was totally my fault. On this 2nd visit I wasn't very impressed with a member of staff sitting on the front desk of the showroom eating a Macdonald's!! Not sure what the company's policy is but I thought it looked sloppy and unprofessional, but hey!
I explained I needed this job done quite quickly as I was going into hospital to have a big operation. I paid for the boarding and waited for another date, this unfortunately was while I was still in hospital, so beyond anyone's control. When I finally returned home I phoned to arrange 3rd date, half an hour before the fitter was to arrive I got a phone call to say they had just unwrapped the vinyl and it had a flaw in the pattern ( not sure why, when the vinyl had been in the store for 2 weeks they left it to check a half hour before fitting?!) So date number 4 arranged and this is where all "communication and helpfulness" disappeared, when I suggested I should be prioritised as this was store error I was told "it doesn't work like that!" So date 4 was booked, the fitter arrived with the vinyl minus flaw but no boarding!!! He wasn't informed he was meant to be boarding and fitting vinyl. I phoned the store obviously very upset only to be "well you cancelled the job twice and it wasn't our fault there was a fault in the vinyl " There was no kindness or compassion for me as an individual and my situation of recovering from an operation there was no "let's see if we can sort this problem" just blame and not taking any responsibility.
I eventually received a phone call to say they will rebook but as there was 2 small places behind the toilet and basin that I couldn't make good they would charge me another £50 to take it up, I thought as a gesture of good will this may have been wavered but no.
Date number 5! Today I finally have my boarding and vinyl fitted, Matt, the freelance fitter was fantastic and I'm pleased with his work, however my experience with this company has taken the shine off what should have been a good one.

I ordered a new carpet last week to be fitted tomorrow 3.7.25 at lunch time today I realised I had given them the wrong measurements so I popped in to see them. I was told that the carpet would have already been cut but was told to wait a few minutes,after numerous phone calls another carpet was found at another department and was arranged to be picked up so that the fitting could still go ahead the next day.This is what I call going above and beyond to help the customer out,very professional keep it up Carpet Barn 👍
