My card hasn't arrived and rather than try resend my card they have just decided to issue a refund without speaking to me

I would rather they re issue the card.

Horrific, honestly. I paid for three balloons for my best friend's daughter's birthday. I paid about £4 extra for each balloon to be inflated upon arrival, and paid extra for specific day delivery to ensure they got to me on the day of her birthday so as to avoid any deflation. The balloons arrived not even removed from their packaging but with the word "INFLATE" stickered on the back of each. So I contacted CardFactory to tell them that they had failed to deliver the items as I ordered and because of the disappointment, and it being for a child's birthday celebrations, I thought they would respond promptly with apologies and some form of compensation. In my original e-mail I attached images of the balloons as they arrived. The e-mail response I received asked me for photographs of the balloons, which I had already sent, but I sent the images again. Then they never responded to me. I contacted twice more after this to ask what they were going to do to correct this error and they continued to ignore me. I had to pay an additional £15 for the balloons to be blown up at an independent party supply store and one of the balloons popped immediately, so obviously also shoddy product. It's downright rude to be ignored by one of the leading card stores in the UK, they must make enough money to refund people for their mistakes and terrible products, especially if they're taking money and then not even delivering on the purchases.

Shameful. Do not use. Massive disappointment.

I gaven an order for a Father's Day card on 16/06/2026 I'm pregnant I want to give a surprise for husband with a card. That's why I'm so excited. they said we will deliver it in 3days or order will be deliver on Saturday. I'm waiting today is Father's Day (Sunday)
my order not received yet so stupid.

I want to give praise to one of your customer service team, Lindsay. I ordered a Father’s Day card a a while ago and it never turned up (no blame on card factory it was Royal Mail that seems to have lost it). I rang CS and spoke to Lindsay and when she told me it was lost I burst into tears. Unfortunately myself and my partner have just lost a baby and this card was one I ordered for him ‘from heaven’. It’s a very difficult and emotional time for both of us and I really wanted this card to arrive. Bless her she handled it so well. I did calm down and apologise to her but she was so lovely and so patient. She also sent me a voucher for 1st class tracked shipping to try and make sure my reorder arrived on time as she understood the importance. It hasn’t come yet and I’m desperately hoping it does but I just wanted to make sure she got the praise for trying her best and being so supportive on the phone. She also sent a follow up email which just felt like a really personal touch and I appreciated the time she gave me. I hope you can find her and give her credit she is an amazing member of staff to have

All the staff at card factory guisley are rude not even polite I will never go back if could I would score 0

Prices have increased dramatically recently and it’s quite difficult to edit the text online. When I asked for cards to come with an extra envelope they come closed and I had to open them to find out which card was inside. Some items were also shipped separately recently and some haven’t turned up. I like to order cards and hand write them but that’s no longer an option. You have to delete the text which takes longer

This branch of cardfactory is perfect for me,due to the loctaion and easy parking and a special staff member called Antony. Who has been very helpfull on a few occaisons when i have visted this branch of which i am very gratefull, so a big big thank you to you Antony.

The company that thinks you’re stupid! I made an online order. As soon as I checked my email I spotted the address mistake. I called customer services straight away to rectify it. I only received half my order and the Royal Mail parcel was sent back. They said the post code was wrong. I called again and was told I would just have to wait. My child wouldn’t be getting his card in time now!!
Bottom line is my child didn’t get his personalised birthday card and wrapping paper. That’s not fair!!
The lady I was talking to down right lied to me! Telling me the address was right…it couldn’t have been or Royal Mail wouldn’t have sent it back to them! As a good will gesture they refunded the missing items. (That should have been done anyway I think) She ended all correspondence then! Rude, very rude…not at one point was I rude to them her. Really bad service! Mistakes happen, I put it right. Card factory customer service screwed up and had to lie instead of apologising for getting it wrong. Has the order been cancelled now?? I would have still liked the card..who knows….

UPDATE
As soon as I posted this review card Factory got back to say they still haven’t received it back. It’s been 10 days since Royal Mail sent it back to them.
They will post it back to me…it took 6 days and this review to tell me what was going on. Coincidence…🤔 I finally know what’s happening.

Such helpful staff in Canvey island branch, I was served by Kira but all staff helpful, lovely shopping experience, store is well stocked and clean

I came to The Card Factory today in Leigh. What wonderful products. I wanted wrapping paper, what a great selection. I also bought bows. I only spent £5 but the staff were very happy, smiling people. Really genuine xx

Rebecca at the Northampton mereway branch was absolutely wonderful.
She was kind, helpful and lovely.
She helped me sort out some balloons for my son's girlfriend and she was very impressive.
She deserves a day off or a pay rise as she was brilliant.

Card factory in Sligo is the worst store with the worst service. I bought some gel balloons for my birthday on Saturday afternoon. And this is how they are on Monday morning. I wrote to their customer support on their website, they said they couldn't help me, contact the store. But I work all week, I can't contact them, not to mention that they didn't give me a receipt or any service recommendations. Although they were just sitting at home at room temperature the whole time.

I visited card factory in sleaford on Friday. I needed some balloons for work to promote an event we were having that day. Catherine the store colleague helped me pick the perfect balloons. She was friendly and extremely helpful. Will most definitely visit again. Thank you

Had a great experience this afternoon (June 1st) 55 High St Exeter branch. I was there with my 9 year old granddaughter and she wanted a K-Pop poster. There was some lovely interaction with the staff in the shop, unfortunately I lost my receipt with their names but they were a great credit to the brand. Fabulous customer service, thank you

Bought a Helium balloon with weight from Leeds Crown Point. Within 10 minutes it had become loose and flew away inside another shop. I returned to Card Factory immediately to be informed it was Company Policy not to refund. Clearly the balloon wasn't tied on correctly but that somehow is my responsibility. Note no kids were involved except the ones working at the shop who were clearly untrained and dissinterested
