I've bought several items from this store (a 7D body, 2 canon lenses and 1 canon lens, plus several filters) and so far the service has been great. The products are delivered promptly and customer service reps are great.
As expats, they have also given us plenty of help in obtaining the VAT refund. Great store and highly recommended!
I purchased one camera and I am very happy with it. The shop in Voorburg is very nice and professional. I will definitely go there again. I strongly recommend CameraTop to everyone.
Cameratop heeft mij een Canon 5D Mark II geleverd met wat objectieven. De prijs in de winkel was de prijs op de site. Bij de bestelling verliep niet alles vlekkeloos, maar dat heeft men naar mijn tevredenheid opgelost.
De communicatie zou hier en daar wellicht iets verbeterd kunnen worden, maar geef ze toch een goede beoordeling omdat ik over het geheel wel tevreden ben! Vandaar 4 sterren in plaats van 5.
Ook houden zij zich aan hun woord omtrent taxfree shoppen. Zoals beloofd heb ik - zeer snel - de door mij betaalde BTW door Cameratop terugbetaald gekregen omdat ik buiten de EU woonachtig ben - na afstempeling van de facturen door mij bij de douane op Schiphol. Zoals het hoort, klasse!
I ordered a Canon 5D Mark II plus some lenses at Cameratop. Price I paid was the price as mentioned at the website. When delivered things did not go smoothly, but the shop solved every issue to my full satisfaction. Therefore 4 stars instead of 5.
Communication could be improved here and there, but still give this shop a good rating as I am satisfied overall.
As promised regarding Taxfree shopping Cameratop refunded the paid VAT after they received the original invoices stamped by Customs Schiphol as proof for export. As is supposed to be, but not done so by lots of shops in The Netherlands. I received the refund very fast as well.

I've found cameratop.nl by use of kelkoo.nl - and chose them due to the immediately nice prices, and apparently good review.
However, after ordering the products (fairly big order € 3.500,-) I waited on the VAT verification because I am a foreign company.
First I was informed up-to 7 days for the VAT verification procedure (in Germany it only takes about 2 days). After one week I contacted cameratop.nl and were told that I should now expect 14 days of verfication in total...The way I was informed with their own mistake was pretty arrogant and rude!
After another ½ week I contacted cameratop.nl again and out-of-nowhere the verification was now approved (why didn't they contacted me?)
I was then ready to buy - but informed that the original order was changed and the prices of all the products were increased!
At that time, I had enough and cancelled the order and found another supplier. Very bad experience with dealing with cameratop.nl.
Hence - no recommendation from me to foreign customers! Keep away.
