Busy Bees Nurseries Arvostelua 

My daughter attends the nursery shes been there since baby room and now is in preschool where she is thriving and absolutely love it. She comes home excited to tell us about her day and she has formed amazing friendships with staff and other children. The staff are welcoming and friendly and always go above and beyond to help and support us especially with her communication skills and potty training.

Very disappointing experience – unfortunately, the nursery has become a shambles.

Our son attended from the age of 1 until he left at 4. Our experience over this time has been extremely disappointing:

- *Children's needs*: Provision has been removed despite clear need, with staffing issues seemingly based around the nursery’s inability to keep staff or have contingency plans in place for sickness or otherwise. This has had a direct negative impact children's individual needs. The constant changes and lack of consistency have contributed to an increase in our son's anxiety, which has been incredibly upsetting to witness as parents.

- *Management*: In our experience, senior management are dismissive and patronising, often speaking to parents as though we are children rather than people, and more importantly customers, raising legitimate concerns about our own children. We repeatedly heard "we're recruiting" and "we'll look into it", but little meaningfully changed.

- *Communication*: There has been a lack
of transparency around wider concerns, Ofsted updates and management changes, with information often shared late and vaguely. Despite promises that communication would improve, we feel it has actually become worse.

- *Staffing*: There is a high reliance on agency staff and significant staff turnover, resulting in a lack of consistency. This is particularly concerning for young children and those with additional needs.

- *Financial* priorities: Invoicing and charges have often been confusing, while it has felt as though financial priorities, such as additional charges for early drop-off, have received more attention than the serious issues affecting the children.

The biggest frustration is that there are some genuinely exceptional staff. The new SENCO is great, and many permanent staff genuinely care about and advocate for the children. They are the reason we sent our son back after the nursery reopened. Sadly, in our experience, these staff are continually undermined by senior management and wider organisational decisions.

As parents, it has been exhausting to constantly advocate for our son and fight for what we believe should be reasonable support.

We are incredibly grateful to the staff who genuinely cared for our son, but based on our overall experience, we would not recommend this nursery.

Our son deserved better, and so did the dedicated staff who worked so hard to support him.

The staff know the children very well and are always kind, patient and considerate.
They make your family feel part of the nursery family. The special events put on for pre-school and especially magical. Great staff and a lovely nursery community.

What an absolutely disgraceful experience ordered food online sweet and sour chicken balls chicken curry with rice and pancakes !! Prefer came no chicken balls wtf rang them to be told mistakes happen !! Young 17 year old girl was highly amused by this ! So unprofessional absolutely disgraceful experience ordered! Now I don’t even know what i am eating so called going to get a full refund !! Let’s wait and see ! My advice don’t even bother to order from them ! Girl on phone advice was to order from some where else !! How unprofessional 🤬🤬🤬🤬

My daughter is graduating after being there for almost 4 years! All the staff throughout her journey have been brilliant. From sticking to her routines as a baby, potty training her as a toddler and now getting her ready for school.

They communicate well with photos sent home regularly, an app that has real time food, naps, nappy updates. Which really helps at the beginning (as an anxious first time mum.)

My second child is now 6 months into her time here and is happy going into nursery and already thriving! Would recommend busy bees toton to anyone as you can tell the people looking after you children really care.

We couldn’t be happier with our son’s first year at the nursery. From the very beginning, the staff have been so caring, patient, and supportive, making him feel safe and happy every day.

Over the past year, we’ve seen such wonderful progress in his confidence, communication, and development. He always comes home smiling, and it’s clear how much he enjoys his time there. The team plans fun, engaging activities and keeps us updated with his achievements and daily experiences, which we really appreciate.

It’s such a comfort knowing he’s in a nurturing environment where he is genuinely cared for. Thank you to everyone at the nursery for giving our son such a fantastic start—we’re so grateful and would highly recommend the nursery to any family.

Every member of staff is friendly, caring, and genuinely invested in the children's wellbeing. The warm welcomes each morning, detailed feedback at the end of the day, and regular app updates give us real peace of mind while we're at work.

It's clear that the staff are passionate about creating a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. As parents, that's everything you could hope for when leaving your child in someone else's care.

Both my children attended the nursery. They were so cared for and loved their key workers. They loved going in every day.

This nursery is a SEN parent's dream! My autistic son attends and I'm incredibly grateful for the care he receives. He has severe autism and is non-verbal but the staff go above and beyond to understand and support his SEN needs. They are extremely patient with him, very supportive and understanding, and always treat him with kindness. I notice from his behaviour that he is well cared for as he always hugs his key workers, and he laughs excitedly when I pull into the car park.

His key workers have put so much effort into understanding him as an individual, including learning how he prefers to be fed and how he likes things done so he feels comfortable and secure.

When he began having breathing problems, the team completed asthma training so they could support him safely. It's heartwarming to know he is somewhere the staff genuinely care about him.

He's always happy and having fun in his nursery photos. I'm grateful beyond words for the professionalism and dedication of the staff!

My little one is well taken care of, all the nursery workers and staff have managed to create a warm and welcoming environment for my baby. The app is great for every day communication and updates on LO's progress. The rooms are clean and the garden is perfect during the warmer months. We're very happy with our choice of nursery.

This was my sons first nursery, and it was a great start of his school life, the staff were so lovely. All of them seemed to really care for our son. We were heartbroken to move him to the distance from our house.

The staff at Busy Bees have been fantastic in helping our son settle in. They work really well as a team, and we’ve always felt that he is cared for in a warm, supportive and nurturing environment. He enjoys a wide variety of fun and engaging activities, and it’s wonderful to see him happily eating the freshly prepared home-cooked meals. The staff are also always friendly, approachable and quick to answer any questions, which gives us real confidence and peace of mind. We’re so pleased with the care and support our son receives and would highly recommend Busy Bees to other families.

Busy Bees started off as a great nursery when my daughter first joined. The staff were welcoming, and we were happy with the care she was receiving. However, over time I began noticing small issues, such as regularly collecting her in dirty clothes and with a full nappy, despite providing everything she needed.

The biggest issue has been the frequent room closures. Although the nursery is aware that we have no family or friends available to help with childcare, these closures have happened repeatedly, forcing me to take time off work on numerous occasions. This has had a significant impact on our family and work life.

Overall, I believe Busy Bees has the potential to be a very good nursery, but they need to address these ongoing operational issues and have a more reliable contingency plan in place when unexpected closures occur.

The staff are so friendly and positive and really engage in the activities with their key children. They take the time to get to know the children individually, helping them develop at their own pace and help them reach their key milestones. The setting itself is really well maintained and any issue is quick to be resolved, the staff are very attentive to the needs of the parents and offer help and advice when needed. Lots of lovely updates on the app. Overall I’m so grateful for all the girls at Godinton! Highly recommend.

Really happy with this nursery! My daughter is excited every single time we drop her off — no tears, just pure excitement to get in there. She's clearly super comfortable with her teachers too, you can just tell she trusts them. As a parent that's honestly all you want to see. Highly recommend!

The team is brilliant. From the induction at the beginning to the day to day, I can only say our daughter has continued to thrive. We are amazed by how much love and care the staff show to her. The level of learning and independence they are also fostering is amazing to watch. The feedback and learning diaries and updates and consistent enthusiasm to the development of her and others is wonderful. The team responds so promptly to any feedback. They always address my nervous first parent questions! Pickup and dropoff is always wonderful. I have loved getting to know all the staff and could not be happier!
