Brompton Bike Hire/Subscription Arvostelua 

Service was simple, easy and straightforward! Bicycle was quickly sent and as quickly accepted back. Contact simply per email: while not the fastest, quite effective in issue solving! Bicycle was completely new (or perfectly maintained) in the well known high Brompton quality! Conditions and prices were clear and good! Loved to ride that Bicycle at work and leisure. Thank you for the great service!

Brompton customer service gets stars to infinity and beyond from me! I do not own a Brompton. I am a very happy “subscription plan” Brompton customer!! I am thoroughly enjoying a Brompton in the US on their bike subscription plan!! WOW! WoooooWeeee! The Brompton Subscription Plan is the best try before you buy idea EVER for bicycles!

Easy to book. Straightforward collection from dock. Great bike. Easy to return to a convenient dock. Just wish there more of them in other parts of the country. Cheaper than a Lime and much, much nicer to ride.

Very easy to hire the bike. From the shop in Chorlton The process was smooth. Really enjoyed the bike. It was the first time I'd tried one.
I had to take the bike back within minutes of hiring as the gear change was very poor. They couldn't fix it in the shop and gave me a replacement bike. That was fine. Might have been a good idea for the shop to have checked it over before the hire.

My husband and I hired the bikes from the train station in Elgin, Moray. We had no problems accessing the bikes and they were in excellent condition. When retuning the bikes we had not folded them correctly therefore they did not push far enough back into the cubicle.We contacted customer support who answered straight away and assisted us until the issue was resolved, the lady who dealt with our query was amazing. Great service, thank you.

Hired a bike for 2 days. When collected the tyres were underinflated and the supplied pump was faulty. This made riding hard going. Pumped the tyres up at home and the following day was much better.
Booked to return the bike at the locker for my Stratford International Station but it would not open when I got there. Locker gave incorrect emergency contact number. Eventually got the right number and was on hold for 13 minutes before I hung up as someone else called me. It turned out that this was Brompton returning my call! The was told I would need to cycle half a mile to the next cycle dock as this one was faulty. So missed my train home, but they did credit me £5. Have since found out that a lot of the cycle docks in East London as out of action.

The communication was slow and unsatisfactory. I registered and paid for the first month, but encountered difficulties when trying to upload proof of address and identity. Once these issues were finally resolved and approval was granted, I received my Brompton. This happened five weeks after making the first payment, which means I lost five weeks of beneficial use.

It's unfortunate that you have to pay upfront and then lose the time it takes to receive the product. I've been informed that this time can be deducted from the end of the agreement, but it's not an ideal start. Let's hope that the process of ending the agreement will be smoother.

I subscribed to Brompton bike rental services. Warm, professional and fast service with quick delivery of the bike to your door. Customer service always available in case of any issues. The bike itself is just amazing. Definitely value for money.

By far the best way to see London! Really easy to set up and go. We already own Brompton at home so it was very easy to bring our Brompton bags and use it with these rentals. Great customer service.

We loved discovering and hiring a couple of bikes to explore Cardiff. Only 4 stars as one bike tyre was deficient, developing an alarming bulge. However this was quickly and efficiently traded in for a fully functioning alternative. On pick up the bikes were clean, tyres fully inflated and joyous to ride. We had no trouble taking them into restaurants. One bike had a very stiff to open up drop down steering post. We would have liked to received a return handover email for comments from Brompton (apols if I did not find this) Excellent, we will do this again!

Was skeptical because of all the bad reviews but decided to give it a chance. Walked 1.5 hrs to collect a bike and when I arrived the lockers were "offline". Hired one today and seems like really good value. Support are very helpful too.

If downloading the App and trying to verify wasn’t bad enough . The whole locker experience and even attempting to find the locker was a headache. London Broadgate is not easy to find . The bike was eventually removed from the locker . Only to receive a text having cycled 10 mins to say the locker door was not properly secured even though I had checked before leaving . Having to then cycle back to find no issue was even more frustrating.
Then for the return another stressful experience. Think carefully before hiring!!

I found the customer service representative (Wendy) to be unreasonable and very argumentative when I made a request to change the colour of the bike. It's a shame as everything else seems to work well but she has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.
