Excellent Safety Training
I undertook the NEBOSH Diploma virtual classroom training last year (date supplied is the day I got my final results) and it was a very positive experience. The tutor was well informed and made the virtual setting engaging and informative. The physical materials supplied were comprehensive and were supplemented by good resources provided online.

Very disapointed with the service…
Very disapointed with the service received. Today cut off mid flow during a call. Phone straight back and was left on hold before the call was added by an automated leave a voicemail and we will get back to you straight away. That was two hours ago. They are quick enough to take your money but when it comes to provide a service not so. There are plenty more companies out that provide this type of service, I would recomend visiting them first before making you decision.

Customer service has degraded
We've been a Member of BSC for years. Unfortunately the customer service has degraded. In 2024 we won a Distinction Award at the International Awards. The trophy was over 6 months late to be delivered. In 2025 we again won a Distinction Award. After repeated emails the trophy still had not been received prior to the award entries for 2026. We therefore chose not to participate. Our trophy eventually arrived but with the wrong companies name on it! I've tried to raise a formal complaint but I've received the same lack of prompt response. We'll be reviewing our membership going forwards.

Dear Chris,
Thank you for your feedback.
I am genuinely sorry for the delays, the incorrect trophy delivery, and the lack of timely response you experienced. This falls short of the standards we expect of ourselves, particularly for long-standing members.
We strive to ensure every customer interaction is top-notch and work hard to deliver an enhanced experience, and on this occasion, we did not meet that standard.
The matter has been escalated and corrective action is underway following a human error by our delivery partner, and steps are being taken to ensure this does not recur. We hope you will be reassured by the actions taken and remain considerate of this error.
Please keep an eye on your emails, as one of our colleagues has got in touch with you with further details. We value your relationship with BSC and remain committed to restoring your confidence in us.
Please do not hesitate to contact us at customer.service@britsafe.org should you require any further assistance.

Poor and unreliable Customer Service
While the training package is excellent, the customer service is extremely poor and unreliable. It is genuinely easier to reach HMRC than to get a response from the British Safety Council by email or phone. You may be told you are first in the queue, but after waiting for 10 minutes the line disconnects, followed by a voicemail prompt for you to leave a message—one that is unlikely to be returned

Hello Charles,
Thank you for your feedback.
I’m sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced in reaching us.
Reliable and accessible customer service is fundamental, and it’s clear that on a few occasions we fell short of your expectations. We reviewed our records to arrange a callback; unfortunately, the number you used was not tracked in our system. Your comments regarding call connectivity and response times have been escalated and are being actively reviewed to improve reliability.
We appreciate your recognition of the quality of our training and remain committed to ensuring our service consistently matches that same standard.

Great course, all thanks to a great and knowledgeable trainer
Really enjoyed the course – very informative with real life stories. The practical approach made learning more meaningful. It gave us practical knowledge we can carry into our real life situations and workplaces. I really appreciated our trainer-Adam, how he focused on helping us understand the course content, not just pass the exam. He was very engaging and encouraging, he broke down the complex topics in a way that actually made sense. Thank you!

British Safety Council learners support
British Safety Council NEBOSH General Certificate training course is very well constructed. I took it online in my own time and I am very impressed with the learning materials and contents of training (videos, quizzes, tests). I have passed NG1 first time but had to undertake a second submission of NG2. I was worried that I may not pass again but thanks to the meetings BSC is organising before every exam I met Maria Lopez who has been an incredible teacher and a great example of British Safety Council support for learners. I cannot thank Maria enough for explaining the NG2 requirements in details so I could understand what is expected to pass. Maria's extensive professional experience and approach to trainees is exceptional and because of Maria's enthusiasm, directions and support I have been able to implement the NEBOSH feedback and pass NG2. I would highly recommend any courses by British Safety Council. I would advice learners to adhere to feedback and listen to BSC support. Thank you!

NEBOSH National General Certificate
I have been studying the NEBOSH qualification for the past 2 years, The Information given by Brits council is very good. The study pack is also excellent if you know what you are doing.
I did my first exam back last year and I failed it, because I did not fully understand how to answer the questions. I was very upset and when I contacted British Safety Council, they put me through to Maria who spoke to me and calm me down. Maria started to tutor me once every week.
I was very impressed with the way she immediately went through the different techniques of answering the exam questions.
Maria was very patient, she made sure that I understood and applied myself well. she was always supportive and no one was left behind.
Thank you Maria for your relentless help. you have been an anchor throughout my Journey and the world needs more teachers like you. I passed this exam because I was able to understand exactly what I needed to pass my exam.

NEBOSH General OBE success
I have been studying for the NEBOSH General with the British Safety Council and had been struggling with the correct technique to answer the mock tests for the NG1 OBE correctly.
Huge thanks to Maria Lopez who was able to encourage me to use my knowledge and experience in conjunction with the mock scenarios to ensure full and justified answers.
These sessions were pivotal in helping me to me pass my NG1 with a great score in February 2025 and having also completed the NG2 I now hold the NEBOSH National General Certificate, something I am extremely proud of.
Thanks again Maria for all your help, I am hugely grateful for the support and encouragement you shown me to help me believe in myself to pass.

Life-changing support from Maria Lopez - finally Passed my NEBOSH NG1
After failing my NEBOSH NG1 National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety exam three times (with score of 35 and 40), I was starting to lose hope. I had the knowledge and experience, but I just couldn't crack the way NEBOSH expects you to structure your answers.
Maria Lopez at the British Safety Council provided high-level, tailored support that made all the difference. She didn't just explain the content, she trained me on how to think and write in the NEBOSH way. Her guidance was clear, practical, and incredibly effective.
I ended up scoring 61 out of 82 marks in my recent exam - and that's without even completing two tasks worth a total of 18 marks! That's how strong my answers were, thanks to her coaching.

Exceptional result from a 1 hour conversation
I have been completing my NEBOSH Dip by distance learning, using the printed materials and completing the work in my own time without an online course or a tutor. I passed 1 of the 3 units and struggled to pass the other 2. I was however, very close to the pass mark.
I contacted British Safety Council and had an hour conversation with Maria Lopez in the study support team, reviewed my previous submittals and took me through a template to assist in structuring my answers and I have jumped to passing my next submittal by 15%.
I am exceptionally pleased with this result and hope to replicate it with my third and final coursework submittal.
