We ordered 1000 l of oil at 63p pet litre for delivery on 13 March. We got an email saying there would be a few days delay. On 17 March we got an email cancelling the delivery. My wife phoned Boilerjuice for an explanation, she was told the supplier couldn't deliver. While she was on the phone I got a quote from both Boilerjuice and the supplier for 1000l to be delivered that day for 160p per litre. We won't be using Boilerjuice again.

Given the current fuel situation and the horrendous price hikes, delivery was swift. You kept me informed of the process which was appreciated.

Ordered 2 days after war had started 1400 @67p, delivery pending but after few day confirmed for the following week. (Obviously price then shot up in the mean time). Day of delivery thought it hadn’t arrived by 4pm only to find delivery note though door. 1400ltr crossed out and hand written 150ltr. Phoned delivery company Bell Fuels and asked why. Told decision made so everyone could have some (therefore fulfilling all deliveries as per their contract with BJ) and that Boiler Juice was notified 5 days before delivery. But Boiler juice never informed us. Questioned this with BJ and then received email (and I’ve still got it) saying tanker had run out of fuel!! Now it says on delivery note time to pump in 150ltrs was 3 mins and delivery happened at 7.41am so saying the tanker was 10,000 ltrs the driver would have to started work at 5am in order to offload the rest before running out at ours by 7.41am!! Pull the other one!! After pointing this out they then came back and said it was a distribution decision by delivery company, nothing they could do, here’s your money back! Oh but you can buy it again at double the price!!! That was not what was agreed when we initially purchased. No apologies, no concern. No offer of help to fulfill order. Never put their name to an email. Happy to take your money before the price goes down, but never honours when price goes up. If I could give no stars I would. Reading their customer service replies on here “few isolated incidents of cancellations”, there’s not a few, go on “X” (twitter) there’s loads, particularly like the one of dog poo in the garden therefore hazardous therefore delivery cancelled! Hilarious!

I have no problem with BoilerJuice, but I was not happy my order was cancelled a day before delivery. I immediately reordered and the price had gone up by £200 +. Then I had to wait 2 weeks for the delivery and our tank was nearly empty.

Early delivery was good have used boiler juice for years always well priced saves shopping around

Heating oil arrived today early £150 cheaper than my original supplier who wouldn’t give me a price for the day brilliant service definitely using next time

I have used Boiler Juice in the past and they have always given me decent prices. This time was no exception and the tanker turned up within the timescale stated.

My one gripe with this company are their automated emails after you have requested a quote - asking you "what did we do wrong, can we help" - when all I wanted is a quote and not to order. Possibly a small gripe but it must annoy others as well and they continue to do this for every quote.
