Riddled with bugs, and idiotic layout choices, functions not working. Feels like the design team of the page NEVER actually tried using it.
If you survive the numerous, guaranteed mental breakdowns, you will have a nice album.

I placed an order on March 19 and paid for expedited delivery guaranteed by March 27.
The order did not arrive, and I received no tracking information or meaningful communication. When I reached out, I only received vague responses saying they would “check with the printer.”

This is extremely disappointing given the time-sensitive nature of the order and the additional cost paid for expedited shipping.

Ultimately I paid this company approximately $105 for absolutely nothing. Never received my item and the lack of communication from the company is appalling. I would not recommend relying on Blurb for important or time-sensitive projects. Please save yourself the time and money and use any other company!!

Een fotoboek besteld op 16-02-2026, gezocht naar kortingsacties, waar mijn mailbox veelal mee volloopt, maar niets gevonden. Het boek heb ik nodig voor een project, dus een deadline.
Tot mijn stomme verbazing, ontvang ik op 17-02-2026!, de bewuste reclame mail. 30% korting op fotoboeken! Direct contact gezocht met Blurb, met verzoek om coulance, betreffende mijn bestelling. Tot op heden GEEN reactie! Zeer slecht! Ik hoop nog op contact, anders heeft Blurb bij mij afgedaan!

I have previously had good experience with Blurb, but this time it's awful. No way of contacting support or getting a reply. That's just plain bad customer service.
Blurb has put a wrong address on my book - I know this cause UPS has told me; my name and everything checks out, but the adress doesn't. Now my book is stuck and Blurb have charged me all the money they wanted. Awful mistake from Blurb's side. The book was supposed to arrive on the 6th of February for my wife's birthday, now it is just sitting stuck in a UPS-central and they are not allowed to change the address.

Programma basico e abbastanza inutile. Siamo a livelli infantili. Se uno desidera una pubblicazione sofisticata che non sia uguale a tutte le altre, BookWright non è per lui. Se uno si accontenta (per esempio un semplice album di foto di famiglia) ... allora va bene.
E anche i prezzi di stampa non mi sembrano economici.
In ogni modo, per quello che volevo io, ossia un programma che mi aiutasse a preparare una guida artistica di un museo, Blurb è assolutamente inutile.

Quality issues again. On the front cover!!! 5/6 books affected Seems to be no QC of ordered books. Will adjust rating depending on response but auto reply suggest higher volume of requests than normal.

I am very disappointed with the service I have received. I placed my order on 21 January and was told it would be delivered on or before 2 February, yet it is still showing as “in production” and has not even been handed to the courier. This is well beyond the stated 4–5 day print timeframe advertised on the website.

What is most frustrating is the complete lack of communication. I logged a support ticket and followed up by email multiple times, but have received no response at all. The website states that customers will be notified of delays, but this has not happened in my case.

Overall, the experience has been poor — slow processing, missed deadlines, and no customer support. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

My books were never delivered. Customer service was initially unresponsive. When they did reply, they were rude and unhelpful. Very disappointing experience. I never recieved the books. I never recieved a refund.

I paid for a book, it never arrived and getting help from Blurb was impossible. They never responded to my request concerning tracking and then my request for a refund went nowhere. I was told by them that the book was out for delivery for over two weeks and it never arrived. I have seriously begun to question their corporate ethics.

I started creating Blurb books back in 2010 using Booksmart. I have created over 150 different titles and spent £17K with them. The announcement to drop Booksmart has not been handled well. The conversion process to Bookwright leaves a lot to be desired. Some fonts don't convert, old photos are not supported in Bookwright, tables don't convert. You have to check every page. The support is useless, too far away and takes too long to respond. I have lost a lot of IP as some of my books are annual and need to be republished.

1) Appalling customer service. There is no one to call. 2) The shipping is too expensive and very, very slow. However, the quality of the books is good. But support is horrible.

I’ve used Blurb for years, years YEARS! I made my first book with them in Argentina about 15 years ago. I then moved to Europe and myself and my mum have ordered books from Spain and the UK for personal projects. I am now a wedding photographer and order all the books for my clients from Blurb.

The quality of their products is outstanding. The software to design the books is so easy to use and so versatile. You really have full control of the design. I couldn’t be happier.

The books always arrive earlier than I expect and costumer service has always been great. I don’t see myself ever using another company. I sound so excited right now because I literally just opened the box to another book I received, and it’s taking the book out of the box and be amazed at seeing it in real life, there’s nothing like seeing photos presented in such stunning quality. The large hard cover book is particularly impressive.

Apalling customer service for UK customers. The support team is based in San Francisco on the US West coast with an eight-hour time difference which delays responses to European customers. Why can't they have a European customer support team to help when things go wrong?

I worked hard to create a photo cook for my mothers birthday and paid for the premium pages, and expedited shipping. This cost me $178. They sent me a completely blank book with no images or text. When I look in my dahsboard the book is blank but when I go to edit the book, the photos are there. They are clearly having huge technical issues but will still take your money. I contacted support and have not heard back. Avoid this service at all costs.

Terrible print quality they don’t have anyone QC their product whatsoever. All of my work was within the margin guidelines and I’ve had to have them reprint numerous times due to a white border around several pages of artwork & the cover. Expensive to print and very poor quality.

Printed book quality is pretty good. But service is VERY slow and not helpful. I've been waiting for my book to publish on Amazon for weeks. Extremely disappointing service experience. Still hoping to get some resolution, but growing less hopeful. Had a to cancel marketing plans. :-(

OCTOBER UPDATE: We are 6+ weeks from ordering and still no book on Amazon. Beware... if being on Amazon is important to you, Blurb is not honest about their ability to get books on Amazon in a timely fashion.

I used blurb for some some books printing and their printing quality is top notch, bespoke options are wonderful

I have been a customer of Blurb for a number of years. The print quality of all the books have been wonderful. In my latest project the printing look rather pale. But after discussion with Blurb, they agreed to re-print it, and the quality was of their normal high standard.

I ordered premium books with express delivery for an exhibition. The books never arrived. UPS said that someone refused the order, but I never saw a courrier. I had to reprint the books by another company. After a month blurb don't want to refund me. They stole 645€ from me. Never again. Thieves!!
