Very disappointed that Bible Gateway has chosen to stop using The Passion Translation. We will using a different source now instead of Bible Gateway.

It is not good that they make you pay for a "deeper understanding of the scripture. If they really want you to grow in your faith with god, then they need to make it free for the public

BibleGateway is a great site for looking at scripture in a number of great, true translations (including ESV, NASB, ASV, and KJV/NKJV). I've very much appreciated their reach and function of looking up scripture, but I've been pretty disappointed in the many different translations of the Bible that aren't really translations at all (including, but not limited to the MSG, NLT, etc.).

Very disappointed to know they have the Passion Translation. Anyone who has checked the story of the Passion Translation will know this is a New Age translation of the Bible where Brian Simmons claims to have been given a new chapter of the book of John and other heresies.

I open this app. I search in the search bar at the top for 1 Timothy. “ No Results”. Okay, so I try James 1:3. “ No Results”. Hmm 🤔. It must be me? I never use this app.

As the years pass I am increasingly disappointed with Biblegateway, the website I thought was a gift and a testimony. Ads on the left have become ads on both sides of the page. Now advertising even takes reading space at the bottom as you read downward. The ads twitch and shift and flash, vying for the attention of the reader. You have sponsors donors; must you also hand over the sacred space of scripture for advertising income - material gain? Matt. 6:24. Luke 16:13

There's no reason we can't read even a verse daily, especially if you have this wonderful app installed on your smartphone. It's a convenient way to read God's Word on a regular basis. It also offers Bible plan if you're having trouble how start and complete reading the gospel. I also liked the fact that the verses have audio versions! There are so many features that every believer would surely love about this app. It loads fast, too. Isn't it more awesome that way? Thanks a lot Biblegateway for developing this app!

Great tool to find specific passages in the Bible. It has links to all passages organized by Book. Very good and helpful languages with many different versions for the same or other countries. It allows to see multiple versions side by side to establish useful comparisons.
