Just had my car repaired From Berry Heathrow cant prasie them enough they are amazing , had a minor accident in which my front bumper came off and other danages to the front of my car

Aviva insurance had initially collected my car and Solus Garage Leatherhead told me my car was not repairable and while they had my car they stripped parts off my car , finaly i took my car back from them in a much worse condition then i gave them , i Contacted Sally Hurst at Berry Heathrow who was very kind and helpful and booked my car in for repairs

David Mills at BMW Berry Heathrow was extremly helpfull , i met David Mills and Sally Hurst and they showed me the condition of the car in which they had received it in , David explained to me what all needed to be done to get my car back to its original condition , my car was repaired perfectly just the way i had my car originally i cant thank David and Sally enough for the amazing Job , David was amazing he salvaged some parts from my original bumper and helped in bringing my cost down to which i am very very greatfull

Had a full service and MOT in 11th December 2025. A warning message appeared on the dash for a low engine oil level. Have driven not more than 1400 miles since the service.

When I did the service, one receptionist was quiet unfriendly as if I was a troublemaker instead of a customer.

Ayup has been excellent throughout my used car purchase. Great communication and attention to detail, making the experience as straight forward as it can be.

Excellent customer service. Edward was very knowledgeable about the BMW SUV range and we were able to try a variety of options and have an extended test drive. We ultimately ordered a model that was introduced to us in the showroom and travelling the extra distance to this dealership was well worth it.

Agreed a price and specification On a new BMW i4. Paid a deposit of £1000. The very next day the rep sent me an email that the specification was now much less than agreed and he still wanted me to proceed. I’m not happy with the bait and switch tactics after taking my money. It’s now 2 weeks after paying the £1000 pounds and I have not received the money back. How bad is that????

Whilst I understand that every business is endeavouring to reduce risks to zero the need to sign off every element of every discussion ( Finance, Insurance, Needs, ID, Bank details, statements confirming my bank detai details etc etc)takes so long and adversely impacts purchase experience I’m afraid. I know staff locally are following the rules but I didn’t need BMW Finance which I clearly stated and sent the agreed payment across at the same time as the deposit - which seemed to confuse BMW central Accounts?Shame because all staff I met locally were very friendly and helpful

This is a review about the Berry group and not specifically Berry Heathrow even though I have had may issues with them in the past. The booking guy on phone gave a quote for my vehicle service and I agreed. When I reached the service centre (Berry Heathrow) they told me that the price I was given was incorrect due to system issues and it was much higher than the original quote after they listened to my conversation on booking. I made an on the spot decision to bring my vehicle back. It was very convenient of them to say that but it was a complete waste of my morning. I came back and checked the price online and it was another figure with all discounts. There were 3 separate figures for my service that have been provided which differ by 100s of pounds. If they cannot quote consistently and integrate basic systems , I really doubt the overall competence of the service centre. Please be careful and look out for hidden charges when you book with them.

Appalling Experience and a Serious Warning to Future Buyers

I purchased a BMW Approved Used vehicle from BMW Berry Heathrow in March 2025, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with any dealership.

Within just 1.5 weeks of ownership, the car suffered multiple serious mechanical failures:

A damaged coolant system (confirmed by BMW Group One Reading to be a pre-existing issue)

A completely non-functioning windscreen washer system, which is an MOT failure, making the car not road legal

Multiple missing undercarriage fixings, identified by both BMW Reading and Heathrow

These faults were not picked up in the “BMW Approved Used” inspection and contradict the promised “meticulous checks carried out by qualified BMW Technicians.” When I saw the original inspection paperwork from Berry Heathrow, it falsely stated that all systems were working, despite me phoning days after purchase to say the washers didn’t work.

When I attempted to reject the car (which I am legally entitled to under the Consumer Rights Act), I was told by senior staff, including the Used Car Sales Manager, that I was not entitled to a refund, a complete misrepresentation of the law. Only after escalating repeatedly was the car eventually accepted back.

I then spent weeks chasing refunds for GAP insurance that I was misadvised about, and I had to personally settle a £408.66 hire car bill after being left without a vehicle due to BMW’s delays.

Worse still, staff across multiple BMW branches (Heathrow, Reading, Farnborough) passed the issue around, showing no internal coordination or accountability. I had to act as the go-between, contacting Enterprise myself, chasing emails, and dealing with multiple people giving contradictory information.

When I raised a formal complaint to BMW UK, I was met with a slow and dismissive response. They have since tried to close the case without addressing the core issues, including being sold a vehicle that was not road legal, misled on my consumer rights, and misrepresented inspection documentation. One staff member even looked me up on LinkedIn during the complaint process, which I found unprofessional and inappropriate.

To make matters worse, the same faulty car has now been relisted for sale by BMW Berry Heathrow, the exact same vehicle (Reg Plate: LB20WTM), despite proof from a BMW garage that it was not road legal when it was sold to me.

This experience has caused me financial loss, stress, and a complete loss of faith in the BMW brand. I’d strongly advise any prospective buyer to think very carefully before placing their trust in BMW Berry Heathrow.
