Bepresentapp Arvostelua 20

After the free trial I was not notified as i had requested when downloading the app and my account was charged $60. I am currently trying to get a refund - also the ads for this app were completely false. the add i saw on instagram said you could redeem points for things like classpass points, but at no point did i see an option to do something like this. Complete lie

Don’t do the free trial! I could not figure out how to cancel it and they charged my card. Very unhappy with this company!

Great app. So handy but unable to go past the free 2 week as the subscription is way too high to pay in one go. If this could be paid in smaller monthly chunks, I would use this all the time

As soon as they charge you - request the money back through Apple.

1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
2. Sign in with your Apple ID.
3. Select "I'd like to..." and choose "Request a refund."
4. Choose the reason (Purchased by child works well)

The app that kept me away from IG for 21 consecutive days!

Complete scam. Took 60 US dollars from me with no notice.

Deducted 70 AUD without notice for a yearly subscription, Apple wouldn't refund any of it. The decision is final, of course, no explanation given. They basically took the money and ran. Otherwise the app works.

Very buggy app - became more of a hassle than a liberating tool.

I genuinely got happy about the experience on the app, until 2 weeks of the trial passed and they ripped me off with 70 euros - annual bill, which, I must say, was not possible to see from the app.

Complete scam.

I find this app to be trivial and unhelpful. Also, I was billed for a year sub subscription with zero warning. They operate a little scammy if you ask me.

The app is not functioning well , blocking other apps for no reason .
Also conflicting with screen time

Accidentally forgot to cancel the free trial and of course not impressed when I saw £40 leave my account.
HOWEVER - I’m now on 140 day streak and have spent at least an hour or more less on my phone everyday for 140 days, spending that time with my baby, husband, friends or resting! Best £40 I ever wasted!

I love this app. And I hate this app. I love it because it actually reduces the amount of time I’m on my phone and on Instagram. And I hate this app because it actually kicks me off of Instagram every five minutes. And at 7 PM it completely kicks me out of insta, and I have to jump through hoops to try to unlock it. I don’t know how to change the settings. I don’t know how to make the time limit longer. I don’t know how to unblock Instagram. Therefore, this works great

In contrast to others, I just downloaded the app today and did not do the free trial. There is a way to get around the free trial if you wait a bit. However, I felt misled when I opened the app. In the ad I watched on instagram it said "we used the addictive technique that the addictive apps used to fight against them" or something along those lines. I downloaded the app thinking it would be similar to the scrolling technique but just something novel something new. It's a checklist designed to reward your abstinence from your phone. Opal does that! Screen time in iPhone settings does that! Don't mislead your audience when you know everyone's trying to reduce their screen time.

There is no “free” one week trial. They charged me immediately, $59.99. I canceled the same day I started the free trial since the app is full of bugs. It is taking me forever to get a refund through Apple.

I would give it a -5 star if I could. This app messed up my phone settings so hard I couldn’t install any new apps without those apps being blocked 24/7, even after I deleted the BePresent app. The worst part is I wanted to reinstall the BePresent app again to see if I can fix the settings, but even the BePresent app is blocked. There is no way out of this except to erase the entire phone and restore factory settings. That’s insane. The worst app ever and I regretted installing this app so much

I have tried the Bepresentapp and I am convinced it is a great tool for spending less time on my phone. In particular when going to bed when it shuts all apps off at 22 pm., a time of my choosing. I would otherwise just have a little peak and find that 1 hour had past. I have received the best costumer service and can give Bepresent my warm recommendations.

I did a free trial. It was okay but then they took $60.00 with no warning and will not give a refund. I have deleted the app and the account but now I have access to something with no human interface for one more year. This is why some people stop trying apps. Because they count on you not noticing they took your money. It's so tiring constantly being defrauded.

I tried the app for the free 1 week trial, as it mentions it will alert you before renewing with a paid subscription. It did not alert me, and I certainly didn’t find it useful enough to spend $80 on. I also understand they are straight up lying via claims made in their ads. Just seems like a money grab with unethical practices

Disappointed by this app. I was looking for support in being more controlled around social media use, on a free trial basis, and it seems ideal as it promised to notify me when the 7 day trial period was up. However, I received no notification and was charged £39.99. I have applied for a refund but having complained to their support, the company said it was out of their hands and up to Apple. I feel pretty burnt!
