Bensons For Beds - Thurrock561 Arvostelua

The sales man was very friendly and professional. Took time to answer the questions. He was very helpful.

The sales associate that attended to me on Friday 7th June 2024, a female of Asian descent was very rude, condescending and utterly unprofessional when I went to make the final payment on my purchases after the initial deposit paid the previous day with another sales associate at the same store.

I only proceeded with the transaction because of the courtesy and respect showed to me by Lateef Idris the associate who served me the previous day who actually went above and beyond the call of duty to provide world class customer service to me.

Her behaviour was beneath that expected of anyone who provides frontline customer service to people who have come to Bensons to spend their hard earned money especially in the face of stiff competition from other providers within same retail complex at Lakeside.

Her dismissive and totally unacceptable behaviour only mellowed when she realised I was paying almost £1800 for two beds without taking the finance option.

Date of experience: 07 June 2024

we were greeted at the door, the lady let us take a look, was not pushy, just said that she was here for any questions. when we had questions she was very knowledgeable. we have had bad backs recently so we needed guidance and ended up with a mattress that was approved by orthopaedic association.

No fuss, no pushy sales person, we knew what we were looking for, found it / bought it. easy transaction - made a nice change not to be jumped on the second you walk through the door.

The service was good nice friendly staff very helpful

No pressure from salesmen a good service

Good experience with bensons beds
Very knowledgeable and helpful

Staff were very helpful and they had a range of products at all price ranges from the cheap to expensive

Very good advice given and time to think about the purchase whilst in store, friendly down to earth, thanks Jody.

Chris at the Lakeside store, was very knowledgeable about the product and was particularly helpful, make the overall process of sourcing a new mattress very efficient.

Very helpful and friendly

A happy helpful sales team headed by Jodie, who made us feel welcomed and at ease. Jodie looked after us and was very knowledgeable and honest throughout.
We came away feeling very happy with our purchase following our first experience shopping at Bensons for Beds.

Helpful, welcoming and very knowledgeable.

The lady that helped us pick out our new mattresses was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and was happy to let all four of us keep trying different mattresses with different pillow combinations again and again. We came away with an order for three new mattresses for myself and my husband, and my two teenagers, and it was an easy and pleasant experience.

The salesman we had was absolutely fantastic so helpful and not at all pushy, he was able to give us a great deal when buying both a bed frame and a mattress together. He showed us both a cheaper bed frame in the type we wanted as well as the more expensive and better TV bed. We went away and had a coffee to have a chat about what we wanted in our new bed frame. We came to the conclusion we wanted the TV bed went back and ordered this we were given all the options around the purchase and ultimately decided on a finance agreement. We never once felt pressure or obligation to buy anything in any way we were able to make the decision ourselves. This is now my 3rd purchase of a bed from bensons and I will continue to buy from them.

Went to the West Thurrock store to purchase a new bed this time for our son’s room. Christopher was very helpful but also left us alone to look around until we needed help & information
He then worked out a price for the igel mattress we chose, bed base & headboard - we decided to go ahead with the purchase which Christopher was very helpful with. This is the third bed we have purchased from Bensons and very happy with the service & experience. Thank you

The lady that was there would not leave us alone, an made to feel uncomfortable.
