Bensons For Beds - Altrincham Arvostelua

Great service. Sales staff was very informative and helpful. Delivery team were great and set up our beds quickly. Very happy

We have just been bed shopping with my husband at the Altrincham Bensons for Bed and had a very unpleasant experience.

We were about to spend between 1K and 2k in your store but we are now taking our custom elsewhere.

When we walked in the lady that greeted us told us that there was 20% of all beds. We were looking at the Tempur. She told us we would get 20% off the bed and the pillows. This turned out to be incorrect

We decided to go for the super king Tempur mattress in soft and the manager who we think was Chris, told us we could have it for 1888 and calculated this on the ladies phone and showed us the price. We then enquired about refurbished options and they looked on a laptop and said there wasnt any in super king soft. So we asked about delivery times for the new super king. She told us 17 June.

The manager then sat down and started to show me the discounts we were getting. He then told us we would be paying £2088 in total. I referenced back to the £1888 figure we had agreed earlier and he said i was asking it up. He started shouting and getting inpatient saying he needed to meet his targets and he would give it to us for 2000. At this point we both thought his attitude to be rude and aggressive. The lady apologised as she said the other figure of £1888 must have been a mistake. But good customer service would have honoured that original figure quoted. We also didnt appreciate being shouted at and his aggressive tone at all. I am not surprised at all that hes not meeting his sales targets if he speaks to customers like that.

We walked out. Never to return to that store again.

John was excellent....friendly relaxed and knowldwgeable

Very easy to order plus lots of choices

He does show me a great deal.

Excellent service. Bed is so comfortable. Kept up to date with every stage of delivery which went smoothly with friendly delivery service

John’s infinite patience and good humour made an experience which is potentially challenging for an 84 year old positively enjoyable.

Looking for comfortable pillow due to neck issues.Janet really helped me.provided advice and different options and let me try them out with no pressure.

Fabulous and helpful service from start to finish can’t recommend them highly enough

Welcoming, knowledgeable assistant
Good range of beds to choose from

We were greeted by John from the sales team and asked what we were looking for. He was very knowledgeable and knew all the products on offer. There was no hard sell just answers to our questions which resulted in a sale. Great customer service.

Good experience again on product and servicee

I am so lucky today (24/04/26) as soon as I inter Bensons Altrincham, I was just want to see the prices, I wasn’t intending to buy. I see the manager (Chris) he came to me asking me “how can I help you today” I said I just want see the prices,. At the end of that visit I bought a bed and mattress and a wardrobe. Paid more that a £1000 and I was happy, he is very professional, and he know what he is doing,. Very helpful, and respectful, thank for him. Bensons Aly is very good place, but a bit expensive, any thing you imagine you can find, a tour with the manager (Chis) made every thing in you budget. He made for me lots of discounts. When I said buye buye I put my hands in my pockets and pulled them out, I found nothing.
Good Luke Chis and thank you sooooo much.

The sales man Tim was very helpful, approachable and did his best to give us a great service. He explained everything clearly to us and helped us as we didn’t have our phones with us to get the discount code.

You can test out the mattresses and pillows at Benson's for Beds Altrincham with no pushy sales talk.
Chris was friendly and informative and only offered good advice without being sales driven. Pleased with our choices.
The delivery was within a two hour slot on the day and the two guys were courteous and friendly.
The king size mattress must have been really heavy but they masterfully manoeuvred it upstairs with great care taken not to leave a trace of any scuffs.
I'd recommend the process from start to finish to anyone.

Swift, efficient friendly service

Bed arrived on time and the two chaps were very helpful and pleasant.

From first entering the Altrincham store we have been extremely impressed by the professionalism and helpfulness of the guys at the sales point.
