I forgot the names of the two I met at the store but they were actually fantastic and invited me to even come play the tcg in store.
Anyway couldnt fault these guys working so hard in these wierd times. A+ go buy some stuff now!

Never had a bad experiance going to battlegrounds. If joe doesnt have what you need in stock hell do his best to source it. Decent prices. Great staff. Nd the fact that hes open during lock down for click and collect is great.

So I've been buying from this shop since March.

I got my brother some Warhammer while lockdown happened, it turned up on time & fast delivery even with lockdown and covid going on.

I ordered some more and the box went missing as the tracking said scanned and it never updated. I contacted the shop and the owner Joe sorted it out and sent me a new box... the old box then turned up two days after the new one was sent out and turned up. I contacted the shop again and spoke with Joe who said its fine and keep it since I had to wait for it which was amazing!

With covid going on as well he has been so helpful to me and was so pleasant to deal with.

I then pre-ordered Jaws of the Lion board game for myself and my boyfriend. There was a big delay on this due to covid but Joe kept us updated with everything we needed to know once he found out. It turned up a few weeks after release, the expected date was pushed back due to covid issues. Yet again, Joe was super helpful and was really professional all the time and we were really happy with the service we got from Joe and his store.

We also ordered some pokemon TCG which turned up promptly in the second UK lockdown.
And also ordered some for Christmas which was a mystery box and was amazing! my little brother was over the moon with it!!!!!

Over all with everything going on, with stock issues and shipping issues being experienced all over the UK, I am impressed, and I’ve never been so impressed with a company before. Overall I'm really impressed with the service he provided and continues to provide! I also found out that this small independent store is only run by Joe on his own which makes me all that more impressed!

10/10 for the whole experience - Super fast delivery & excellently packed and protected.
I was kept updated the whole time with tracking via email. Smooth website that for small company works better than the bigger companies I've used.

I will only be using this shop from now on and will support a small independent shop! Thanks for the great service Joe. Keep up the good work!! 😁

My go to store, Lots of stock and a nice variety of games and accessories If they don't have what i need then its always there within a couple of days, Cant reccomend enough

A little gem of a shop stocking a wide range of Table Top and TCG products, would recommend to any hobby enthusiast to visit the store, the owner Joe has always been extremely helpful with any questions I have had and has had little to no issues getting anything for me he hasn’t already had in stock.. in a nutshell great store with a great vibe.

Will be making some preorders shortly for the new pokemon set altough I've seen a negative review on preorders for this shop bare in mind the dates they are given can changed by the supplier if your in to collecting and preordering is get used to that not always the shops fault

First time ordering with BattlegroundGaming, quick shipping and delivery to Germany went smooth, albeit a small DPD Hicup but Joe was able to contact them and fix the issue, not his fault, even threw some sweet treats in the box, great experience, hope to repeat again in the future.

My husband ordered a full set of Citadel brushes from this company. A random selection arrived that contained some duplicates but three types were missing totally. Joe from Battleground Games refused to send the missing brushes from the set. Eventually he agreed that they all be returned to be refunded and promised to pay the return shipping.
After two months we have received two partial refunds but am still almost £10 short. Joe refuses now to refund this to cover his postage even though the error was his. He directs us to his ts&cs.

Joe - We ordered a set and as such the part set you supplied was no use to us. You chose not to supply the missing brushes. You promised a full refund including the return shipping but clearly you can not be trusted. All your commitments are in writing and so our CC company will resolve this with you.

Quite simply the worst online buying experience we have ever had. Never again - Please beware!

I had a really disappointing experience with this company.

I placed an order for 3 items which all showed as “in stock” on the website. I received an email confirming my order had been placed, and that I would receive another email when the order was shipped.

4 days later I had not received confirmation of dispatch, so I emailed the company to enquire how long it should take. I didn’t receive a reply.

2 days later I messaged the company’s Facebook page, and rapidly received a reply. I was informed that one of the items I had ordered was not in stock and a refund issued, but that the other two items had been shipped 2 days prior. I was very surprised that there had been no email or similar notification to tell me any of this, as it was the main item of my order. The owner apologised and advised if I wanted a full refund I should refuse to accept the delivery when it arrived.

I decided not to return the remaining items when they eventually arrived, but 4 days later received a text and an email telling me my whole order had been cancelled. This again was a surprise as the email said it was cancelled at “customer’s request”, which it wasn’t. I was therefore left in the situation of having to get the various items from alternative suppliers, and most frustratingly lost over a week in time that could have been better spent.

Ordered from here a few times after they popped up on recommended on FB. Absolutely amazing store and great customer service! If it’s not in stock it will still be a quick turn over to get your items! Highly recommend them!
