Been asking for an update on my case for weeks now and get no response wish I had read reviews before proceeding I was told it would take around 8-10 weeks this has gone way over this

When a claim is placed with us, we have to obtain certain evidence to support this to make the prospects of success stronger. With this particular claim we need to know which products and services you used in order for us to obtain the correct information about what data was harvested and misused from each product.

You are entitled to cancel your claim however if you do not wish to continue.

Be very careful before you sign anything.
I signed up to this company on the 10/07/2025 regarding Google data breaches. Within minutes I received a reply from them, confirming the claim. On Friday the 11/07/2025 after reading the expansive list of terms and conditions, I sent an email and made a phone call to cancel the claim.
If you read the terms and conditions fully, (which I did) everything is in favour of the company, and if you are not careful you could receive a bill for thousands of pounds. An example of this is as follows:
They have 4 sets of partners A, B ,C, and D, and their charges are as follows:
A = £450.00 per hour.
B = £400.00 per hour.
C = £350.00 per hour.
D = £300. per hour.
These are charges that you could be hit with if you do not follow their instructions to the letter. Without going into further detail, 99% of detail in the terms and conditions are in their favour. I am not a lawyer, but, please read everything they send you, and do not base everything on no win no fee.
It actually took me 1 phone call and 3 emails to have them cancel my claim, and that was only because I threatened to charge them £50.00 for every other email they sent me. I received a cancellation reply within 4 hours.
If you feel this company can help you, by all means use them, but be very careful, and once again read everything that they send you.

I have been requested to provide further information by Trustpilot, who state the company have contacted me requesting further information. This is not the case. I have provided everything in my original review. I get the impression that the company are trying to have my review removed, as it mentions their fees. I have kept all emails from the company which proves I was a genuine possible customer. Be aware of their tactics if you sign up to them.

I am sorry to hear you are unhappy with the service you received and the struggle you had to cancel your claim.
Regarding our conditional fee agreement, this is a legal document between us and our clients that outlines all of the fees. However, in that fee it does state that the success fee will be capped at a maximum of 25%+VAT (30%) meaning our clients will get the lions share of the awarded amount.
It also details cancellation fees. After 14 days, which is our cooling off period, legal work would have commenced on your case. This means resources, time and money would have gone into it - due to this, like other firms in the UK, clients will be liable for fees. Unfortunately, if we didn't have this in place, we would be losing more money and would not be able to sustain our firm and keep our staff employed. This is a standard practice.
I hope this explains things better for you and I am glad to hear that your claim cancellation was resolved.

Absolutely shocking company this is
Absolutely shocking company this is. I have never made a claim with them for any of my cars yet they constantly email wanting further details and access to my online banking. Somehow they have the make of my car, the reg and the finance company details despite me never submitting anything. I'd had enough of the emails so contacted and explained I have no claim with you, whatever details you have delete and close whatever claim it is you have as it is nothing to do with me. I have today received another email telling me that to close the claim down will incur costs and they will pass me over to a team who will recover any money owed. Disgraceful company

Ignored After Providing All Required Info
I submitted all of my personal documents to Barings Law for a car finance claim and have heard absolutely nothing back. Despite emailing them on three separate occasions for an update, I’ve had no response at all.
This level of communication is unacceptable. If I don’t hear back within 7 days, I will be asking them to close my case and delete all my data, as I’ll be taking my claim elsewhere. Very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and follow-up so far.

Castle Trust v Dooley & Ors
Castle Trust v Dooley & Ors - Zero communication - any others in this case being represented by them??? My spouse is one of the 62 pensioners defrauded to the value of £10 million+ initial investments - High Court Judgement was won in Jan 2023. We have received zero compensation or damages. We have had the case transferred 4 times, now with this lawyer. We have no money and I am at the end, cannot see any more point to this life, I'm done. If this is not resolved in the next few months, no more miserable New Years for me, I am silently doing my Swedish cleaning/clearing, look it up. I will make it clear in documents to the press that this law firm was part of the problem as well as the criminal enterprise which was Castle Trust and Steven Knight.

I find it concerning you don’t say anything in your email about the nature of my claim but provide a link for identification documents- hallmarks of a scam!

Barings Law are only interested in lining their own pockets. There customer service skills are non existent. I have emailed them asking for an update and no reply. I have phoned in asking for an update and no one is available. I then ask for a call back and guess what, no one returns your call. I would not recommend Barings Law to anyone. Their service is awful and as I said they are only interested in lining their own pockets. The firm is a joke

I received top quality professional advice and information.
