Avoid - not worth the hassle
Bought two lunchboxes, they posted one. I emailed and they sent one out a few days later. I emailed them a few times asking when it would arrive as I needed it for a specific date and no response. It still hasn't arrived. Their email responses throughout have been late and brief, with no support or initiative on their part. I ended up buying another on Amazon (I have two kids, they both needed one!) for more money but with the amount of hassle this has been, it was worth it. Such a shame as love the look of their independent shop. Still waiting for it to be delivered, and then to attempt to return it...
EDITED; Please see the below as how customers are treated 😂😂😂, starting a bun fight is a brilliant way to behave on the internet 😂😂. She just phoned me - (please note only after the bad review and not after the lack of delivery) called me unreasonable and hung up on me 😂. Absolutely unable to look at it from my point of view - I ordered on the 23rd and it still isn’t here…
PS - that’s not what Evri means: they were unable to deliver, not that they attempted it and we weren’t in.

EDIT: Yes, I did call as soon as I was aware that there was an issue that you felt was not handled correctly. I apologised for the mistake in the initial shipment, and for the delay with the courier company. I am not starting a "bun fight", merely stating the series of events as they occurred, I don't see the below as anything other than factual so that future customers can see that we did everything in our power to try rectify the situation. I am sorry that you were disappointed. I hope your order from Amazon arrived in time and your kids ended up having a great time at forest school.

Apologies that you have not been satisfied with the service. To recap:
20 October 6.15pm - you placed your order.
21 October your order was dispatched. Sincere apologies that we delivered 1 instead of 2 by mistake. This was entirely my fault, I am sorry.
23 October your order was delivered, you emailed to highlight that you had only received one out of two on your order. We replied the same day to apologise and say we would send another.
24 October the second one was dispatched from us. We also sent you a follow up email that day both from our automated system and also from customer services to provide you with the tracking number.
There appears to have been a delay with the courier, which is beyond our control and does sometimes (very rarely) happen. I think your bad review should be aimed at them rather than us as we have kept you in the loop. To say that our replies have been "late and brief" is not at all true. All emails were responded to the same day and usually within minutes of your email to us. To your query of "will it be delivered by Monday?" our expectation was Yes as we had sent it on next day delivery. The courier DID actually attempt to deliver on Monday but no one was in.
We have said that we are happy to accept the return and feel that we have done everything in our power to rectify the mistake.
Thank you for supporting my small business, we need all the support we can get in these tough retail times.

Responsive seller and quick delivery
We have had a great experience with Bambinista, item was posted the day after purchase and received from Evri within delivery timeframe. Bambinista price was by far the best available online. I was initially taken aback by the negatives comments on Trustpilot, however I thought I’d give a try, couldn’t be happier. Thank you!

We did reach out via email to let you know that this item is currently on backorder, but didn't receive a reply. I also searched in our email box for any emails from you and could not find one with the same email address as your order, so I suspect that we have an incorrect email address. Please email to hello@bambinista.com and we can update you.
SCAM - AVOID
This company is a scam - do not use. I placed an order, tracking did not update, spoke to Evri who stated this is a common scam where the business print the labels but do not ever post the goods.
I emailed, called, and sent messages on social media, no response, I have raised an issue for a charge back with my bank and reported them to trading standards.
Update: I have just seen your response whilst checking my reviews and your response is a lie. This is what you said to me via facebook messenger when you eventually replied.
"Hi Leah. Sincere apologies. I have had to close my store due to a very tough retail environment and let my whole team go. i am
managing everything on my own from a storage locker and am not on top of things. Your order is packed and going out today. Again sincere apologies and let me know if there is anything I can do to make this right. Susan"
No mention of anyone dying or being away - just you saying you couldn't keep up with orders and therefore you shouldn't take them.
Accountability rather than a lie would have been better.
Avoid.

Hi Leah, Sorry for the late reply on this. I see your order was delivered a few days after your review. Apologies for the delay on the order. I was away with my daughter at the time, and had one lady picking and packing orders whose father passed away suddenly and she had to go home to be with family. This was unexpected and cased a week's delay in processing all orders.
As a small business, every review matters and we are truly sorry for the unforseen circumstances.

No lie at all. I was away trying to enjoy a small get away with my family after closing my store. One of my ex employees from my closed store had offered to help keep the online orders processed but unfortunately there WAS a death in her family which meant there wasn't anyone available to send your order in our usual turnaround time. All of our customers except you were kind and understanding and we offered refunds to customers that didnt want to wait 4 extra days for their order. Thank you for compassion!

I knew exactly what I wanted to buy, but I was having trouble finding stockists. I met Susan at The Baby Show in London, she introduced me to her shop Bambinista. Susan told me that she stocked all the brands that I had been looking at and introduced me to a few others based on her recommendations. All of the packages arrived to our house, with all of smaller items beautifully gift wrapped. I couldn’t have been happier with the choices, service and knowledge of this company.
