Customer service is impossible to get ahold of! I received my bags and didn’t love the quality, and I’ve been trying for a week to get ahold of someone to send me the return address. It’s so much work considering the customer has to pay return costs and there’s a return fee. Really cute bags but not worth the work on the customer end

I’ve added to my collection and treated myself to an Organic Cotton bag and it’s honestly such good quality. It fits so much stuff in so is now my work bag! The colours are gorgeous too!

I don’t think the quality of the bags is worth the money. The bag isn’t standing the strength of being used as work bag and the nylon is starting to come apart so much so I have had to order a new work bag. Don’t even put that much or heavy stuff in it

Overall the shipping process was good and the bag is nice. Unfortunately I had to return mine as it did not have a zip as I expected (my fault for not reading the description and assuming all bags had zips). I found the refund process quite cheeky asking for a £5 fee, in addition to paying postage I have lost £10. I found it difficult to compare the bag sizes, as there are not many pictures of people wearing them. Would be nice to have a comparison table

I ordered the recycled nylon bag and unfortunately it arrived with a slight fault. I contacted customer support and Maisie got back to me right away.
She could not have been more helpful, understanding, and accommodating. She quickly arranged a direct replacement for me so I could have it in time before going away on holiday, and even offered thoughtful alternatives to make sure I ended up with a bag I loved. It is rare to see customer care this responsive and genuinely helpful.
A massive thank you to Maisie for sorting everything out so quickly and stress-free. Really lovely brand to buy from!

This company needs to spend much less time posting on Instagram and much more time on posting orders to customers who have been waiting for weeks with zero updates. They launched items online that were available to purchase but seemingly were not available to be shipped from their warehouse. Customer service is terrible and they’re just fobbing people off at this point. Such a shame as lovely products but will not bother buying from a company that treats their customers like this.

Don’t buy from this brand, even though the bags are very nice. I bought one and, after arranging an exchange, I never received it. It’s probably the courier’s fault for never delivering it to me, but it seems that Monty isn’t helping me with the refund. I had to ask FedEx myself, who in turn told me that it’s Monty who need to request it, but they aren’t giving me any updates. They also made me pay the cost of the dogana. All the more reason not to buy from them if you’re ordering from Italy, as FedEx is a terrible courier.

Firstly, I have to say I love the Monty bags I have but, overall, the customer service is atrocious! From the initial email advising you will be put to the back of the queue if you send more than one email (really?! - is that supposed to be funny? - its not) to having to wait two weeks + for an exchange to be actioned, they are letting themselves down big time.
Now given up on waiting as it's been over two months since I returned the original item, awaiting stock that has now been in for two weeks and still nothing; have now requested a refund - can't imagine this will be actioned in a timely manner somehow.
Such a shame as I would love to build on my collection but my latest experience has left a very sour taste - sorry!

The cotton bags in particular are lovely, but customer service is woeful. I ordered a restocked bag (note NOT a pre-order) on 31st July, it’s now 12 August and it’s still not even been dispatched.

No notice advising of potential delays on their website or insta, and no response to two chaser emails. If I hadn’t ordered from them before I’d be thinking scam.

I think the bag is unique and gorgeous and really good for travel days but I am a bit disappointed with the quality for the price.
I also had some frustrations with a discount code they promote that did not automatically apply at check-out.

The bags are so cute! I receive sooo many compliments on them. There was a minor issue with delivery and customer service were so helpful in getting this sorted. I just want all the bags now but will have to buy outfits to match which seems like a good excuse to me 🥰

Total scam. Used bag three times and it tore along the zip. For a bag that cost close to £50 this is crazy. I am currently in a very slow email trail with customer service to arrange a refund. They are being extremely elusive and send very wordy replies (noting you have to wait at least 48 hours for a reply) with zero help/info on how to get my money back. With the amount they must spend on social media advertising - they should reallocate some to customer service and product quality. I would suggest you avoid! Bags look lovely so it’s a real shame. At the time of writing this I still have zero info on how to return. Major red flag screaming ‘scam’ company.

The bags are beautiful and the colours are unique but I wouldn't say the quality is worth the price.
I bought 2 bags and signed up to the newsletter for 10% my first order. It said the discount would be applied automatically at checkout but wasn't. They don't offer any direct customer service other than a 'info@' email. I did email to ask about the discount code not working but they never replied. It's been 3 weeks.
I'm happy enough with the bag just for the look but the quality and customer service don't match the price tag.

Customer service was above and beyond. Maisie went out of her way to find the bag I wanted for my daughter’s birthday and ensured I got it the following day!!! I can’t express how amazing the level of customer service was from Maisie. The bag is absolutely beautiful!!! You’re a credit to Monty “Maisie “ - thank you 🥰💖💖💖

Bags are gorgeous and totally different. The customer service is also absolutely excellent. Had a minor issue with my bag and they more than compensated me for it. Really recommend and ordered my second.

The bags have really bright and eye catching colours. However the bags are so thin and cheap. After 1 trip away my straps have gone really thin just from carrying it around. They remind me of a slightly better version of a bag you would buy in a shop when they’ve run out of plastic bags and they only have the £1 carrier bags left..

My suggestion is to save your money and do not buy this trash product. I received my bag and the quality is very very cheap and bag has noticeable spots. I got scammed by this company. Avoid!

I was also really disappointed with my experience. I got customs fees a few months after my purchase but it wasn't obvious I was going to be charged with customs fees at the time of purchase. Customer service wasn't very nice or helpful. My comments were also delated.
