The young owners of the Auto Zone dealership were kind, considerate, obliging, and very professional. Buying a car from them is a simple and trouble-free process. Based on our own pleasant experience, we have no doubts at all about recommending them, and they thoroughly deserve five stars.

The manager was very helpful. I booked, arrived, he was there and car prepped. He showed all the faults even though I was happy and two weeks on still hopeful when I call for small issues I have noticed (all my fault like could not find locking key).

absolutley disgusting!!!! Purchased through a broker on finance. We questioned contamination onsite and in hindsight should NOT have continued with the purchase however i took the dealers word that the car has extensive checks.
On the way home the clutch went however the dealer collected and repaired the vehicle so I have no issue here.
Then we get it back and there's warning lights pinging up, the car self revs ad wont turn off and the coolant tank is black.
I pay a transporter to take it back for them to get their garage to say no faults and to be force into keeping this vehicle. Its nothing more than a garden statue!!! the AA wouldn't even turn it on.
This company sell dangerous vehicles and refuse to take them back. I have my own amount of regret as I should have walked away and followed my gut however I made a mistake trusting the 'professionals'. Whats worse they made accusations that I had caused the issue..... screams guilt in my opinion.
30 days consumer rights... forget about it.

Car had nothing but problems from the start now they are refusing to take it back not even had it 1 year

I approached Autozone to purchase a car and, during my initial call, I was presuaded into paying a £500 deposit, significantly higher than the £200 typically charged by Autotrader and this was taken without any guarantee.
Trusting them in good faith, I made the payment and was assured that the car would be delivered within five days, with a delivery date of 19th July as mentioned in the booking document. I waited eagerly, but received no updates after my reservation and payment. 
I even booked travel tickets in preparation. I called them one day before delivery saying that the car is not ready and a part has to be sent by the manufacturer. 
Next week, same. The delivery was pushed to next week, but same pattern. No care for the buyer once reservation is made. I had to chase them and find out that the car was not ready. Date pushed again. 
Any professional service would proactively inform the customer of delays, but this did not happen.
As a result, I lost money on my travel tickets and was forced to stay for more than 2 weeks. 
My children’s holiday plans were ruined, and Autozone refused to refund my deposit, citing behind a “non‑refundable” clause despite "failing to honour their delivery date". We wont honour our dates, but you should honour your refundable deposit. 
I was told, the delivery day is computer auto generated. How cute that is.
In total, I lost £500 in deposit and £250 in pre‑inspection charges. Money down the drain, not to dismiss the anxiety & trauma with this. For me, they lack professionalism, ethics, and customer care. I was even told that they display cars any cars, including faulty or cars that are not prepared for driving, which makes the entire process feel misleading.
Be warned: Autozone failed to deliver, refused to refund, and caused significant financial and personal loss.

This is total lie. The car was taken off sale, after deposit was paid. For third party inspection, it was not taken off sale.

//Despite knowing the vehicle was not yet ready, you chose to proceed with booking a non-refundable train ticket. As a gesture of goodwill, we offered to reimburse you for the ticket.//

Another lie. Why would I book a ticket for travel after I'm informed the car is not ready. The ticket was already booked, as I was told it would be ready by 19th at the time of deposit & booking and it was also mentioned in the contract document.

//accommodate your requests //- I paid £250 for the inspection and requested to fix them. This is something should have been done by default when the car is displayed. Clearly they display faulty cars by this admission.

//communicate clearly// - No. I had asked them every week. Not proactively done. I had to chase every week. Second time, it was clear, they do not have any intention to honour.

//goodwill gestures// - If this is true, they would have refunded the deposit and moved on. Not forcing to write this review. Clearly there is no goodwill gestures whatsoever.

Brought a car from autozone in March this year one word ‘cowboys’ the car started knocking took it to the garage both rear axel needed to be fixed, a week later the handbrake snapped on me now the battery has gone on the vehicle, when you contact them about the issues they just state that the car was working before selling which is absolute cr*p knowing I had my young child in this car and they have done nothing to help, the warranty isn’t the paper it’s written on. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE ABSOLUTE COWBOYS!!!!!

Bunch of cowboys. I bought a 18 plate Mercedes only to find that the fault codes had all been cleared and it needed a new NOX sensor. No problem I thought, I also bought the extended warranty, which I find isn't worth the paper it's written on as they won't pay for a Mercedes NOX sensor but only a very cheap after market one, that two garages have now confirmed will be more trouble than it's worth. To make matters worse, I've just been issued an £80 fine by DVLA because the sales person accidently filled out the wrong logbook and so left a car I don't own in my name.

Con men, smile in your face and then car breaks they won't take it back and pretend the boss is on holiday I have two complaints going with these lot, please don't use this garage, they shout and argue at u down the phone, these are not professionals

Very dishonest.
Sold me a car with problems. Didn't even fix what had been agreed beforehand.
Took me ages to get my money back, and they still withheld 350 pounds at the end unlawfully.

Before I start this review, I will tell you my honest opinion on our purchase of a car brought from Auto Zone Peterborough.
We were looking to replace my wife's car which had served us well but now needed to be replaced.

On arrival at Auto Zone we looked at a few cars we liked. At no point did the salesman Fez pesterd us, after 20 minutes we went to the sales office and he gave us the keys and told us to have a look at them and take your time.

After I inspect them they were not for us so we looked at a few more, then we spotted a low mileage one owner Toyota 3 year oldYaris 1.5 20 plate in great original condition,and road tested it and decided to purchase this Vehicle.

I cannot praise the Salesman Fez enough for the professional way he conducted our purchase of our new car he is a credit to your company, we have had this car for 3 months now and we are so pleased with it and my wife loves it so thank you from the both of us.

What can I say Disgusting people awful to deal with ,Dense comes to mind an the owner ,wet wipe cnt come to the phone ,if been took to court over the part exchange vehicle they didnt tax and they will do the tight thing an sort it out car was part exchanged in aug 2023 an I'm still getting court letters an fines

Purchased a Mazda Cx5 in May, very helpful and polite all the way through ro the sale, when I went to pay they had the cheek to ask me to pay for the card fees that they would incur as I paid by CC. The car was in good working order when I took it for a test drive. Get the car home and 2 of the speakers were not working, the drivers side mirror was not closing when locked, the gearbox is crunching into second (not all of the time) but still. I contacted them and they told me it wasnt their problem and i should use the warranty, luckily it covered it.
It is now August and I still haven't recieved my log book. And when asked for the logbook when purchasing they said they didn't have the green slip but it was sorted online (lies) I contact DVLA and they advise it is still within the motor trade and would have to pay for a new 1. I contacted them straight away and they said they would sort it. I will update this review once I hear about my logbook as I refused to pay for it. But make sure you check everything and ask for proof of anything they say they have done / not done. The mot was a bent mot as I took the vehicle straight to out mechanic and it needed 4 new tyres and advised for the brakes which we did as we have children costing us nearly £800 the mot sheet was clean!!

Went to see a Honda CRV on 10th August. Before setting off we made sure it was available and advised we was travelling from Doncaster so would be 1.5 hours, got there and cars battery had gone, flat tyre from standing. My partner went through it's "service history" it had 3 years finishing in 2015, long MOT advised (also stated minimum 6 months) finished in December. We could potentially overlook that so my partner took it out, got no more than 20m and turned around. Car was making a loud knocking noise, not worth it. Advert was misleading then car was not worth the price advertised with the faults, short MOT and sketchy service history

Bought a car from them like everyone else who has issue with them I find myself in that oat. Car was sold without a log book but they had the correct form to send of to have a new one issued to me.

Jump forward still haven't revived the log book spoke to dvla and they haven't revived anything saying it need to be issued to me. Spoke to autozone and they say it's not there problem anymore.

On top of this the car has had to go in for engine repairs there are issue with it. Also told it had a service before being sold which wasn't the case.

Do not trust this place they will lie to make a sale and the once out the door the after service is none existent and done care.

Fantastic experience , auto zone lead the way with used cars.
