Poor PPF Result on Two Vehicles
This review is about PPF work and not paint correction. Ian's work on paint correction was very good and I have reviewed that highly previously. Unfortunately, his work on SunTek Reaction PPF application has not been to the high standard I expected. Unfortunately Ian performed PPF work on two vehicles and both have ended up with bubbling, poor trimming and peeling resulting in the PPF not being fit for purpose. I cannot upload images here for the review.
The 'rework' resolution offered by Ian has made me lose confidence in his PPF application ability and we will probably end up using a dispute resolution service.
One vehicle has partial PPF and after approximately 6 months and very low milage the peeling is dreadful. The second vehicle had full PPF and after 3 months and extremely low mileage there is bubbling, peeling and poorly trimmed edges. I would not return the second car to Ian for corrective work as nearly every panel has issues and the rework process offered did not fill me with confidence. This isn't one or two bubbles, this is poor application across the entire car that Auto Elite Detailing charged a premium price for.
