Puppy Placement: We do not provide underage puppies. Every dog in our programme is thoroughly assessed for age, temperament, and readiness before placement. Behavioural challenges that arise after placement often require collaborative effort, including ongoing training and adherence to our support guidance.
Judgements and Communication: Autism Dogs Charity is dedicated to treating all families with respect and understanding. Our decisions are never based on prejudice but on professional assessments to ensure the welfare of both the dog and the handler. Communication is integral to our process, and we maintain a transparent and thorough approach.
Support and Training: We provide extensive training, aftercare, and resources to support families. When concerns arise, we encourage open dialogue to address and resolve issues collaboratively.
While we understand that not every experience may meet expectations, unfounded accusations do not reflect the reality of our work or our commitment to the autism community. We are proud of the positive outcomes and life-changing impact our assistance dogs provide to many families.
