Audiolab Arvostelua 4

I decided to give Audiolab a chance because they are closer to my home than other competitors, and I wanted to support a local shop. I purchased an Advance Paris A12 Apex, but after only 2 weeks of ownership, the unit suffered a major physical hardware failure, the coaxial RCA sleeve literally detached from the board (see photos).
Initially, Aaron G. (Returns & Support) was helpful and offered an exchange for a Yamaha A-S2200, which I agreed for an even exchange. However, communication then stalled, he stopped replying. When I finally reached out to Nick, the experience went downhill fast. He tried to talk me out of the Yamaha, claiming they aren't direct vendors and it would take "weeks." Instead, he pushed a used, open-box PrimaLuna with no remote and a short 90-day warranty as an "even swap."
When I pivoted to the Advance Paris X-i1100, Nick tried to charge me $1,000 MORE than what is reflected on their own website and other authorized dealers. He refused to honor the current market price or do an even swap for my defective, 2-week-old unit. Most importantly, they have flat-out refused to issue a refund on this physically broken product.
I have left my defective unit at the store for a replacement. Let’s see how long it will take for them to get me one. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere where they actually stand behind what they sell.

My experience is that Audiolab sells a ton of brands and has the latest stereo store ever. Very friendly knowledgeable staff.

They sold me a used HT audio receiver right channel didn't work. They say they check and make sure it works as new. It doesn't. They take forever to respond, and when they do they say take it to shop. Then they say for this special case they'll take a return. then I don't hear anything back after asking how to return. They know damn well it will cost more for shipping or to fix than what I paid for it. Scam site.

The worst customer service I've ever known. Experienced like you get robbed. I preordered a turntable Project Debut Pro for $899 since July and never got answer until September. I wrote an email to tell them that if not available then I would cancel then preorder. All of sudden late November I received the turntable delivered. I contacted the customer service a few times then Laura the woman who emailed me a return label but she charged $50 for a return I calle her and she was very rude. I had no choice to send back to them that I did. It seamed like they ignored the communication and just did whatever to get their sell. Felt like getting robbed. Stay away from this store and never deal with them you can only lose and feel like stupid.
