Where do I start , Askable changed they payout process from 2 - 4 Days , payments not paid, yet you get paid in advance for our work , I know this as I am a client SOON NOT TO BE this is very bad practise , Participants are reaching out to us for you ignoring there requests for payments , saying they wont continue studies until they are paid ,no issues on you status page , continually giving false information , continued messages from participants asking for the money , when we are they research team this is seriously bad business practise , where has our payments gone that we paid you , why are participants not getting paid ??

Tried this platform and I was worried about payment because it's taken a lot of time but it's arrived already yesterday so it's trusted and paid

Setup is straightforward, and there are initially quite a lot of surveys available.

However, as other reviewers have already noted, Askable will sometimes refuse to pay for completed surveys without giving any explanation. If you ask for the reason or try to get the issue resolved, you can end up being blacklisted from the platform.

Customer service has also been extremely poor -- I'm looking at you, Justin and Dalton. You will repeatedly be sent pasted responses rather your issue being addressed. Asking a specific question and receiving a generic response that doesn't answer it is incredibly frustrating, particularly when payment's being withheld.

I've also asked Askable to delete all of my personal data and received no response.

Platform is easy enough to use when everything goes smoothly, but the way it handles payment disputes, customer complaints and data deletion requests is diabolical.

I participated in a 45-minute interview after the researcher explicitly confirmed an incentive of €100. The Askable platform also displayed €100 when I accepted the interview invitation.
After completing the interview, however, only €80 was paid to my PayPal account.
I contacted Askable through their AI-powered support chat and provided screenshots showing the €100 incentive and the €80 payment. The case was then supposedly forwarded to a human support agent, but several days later I still haven’t received any response. I also contacted the researcher directly and received no reply.
The study itself was fine, but the payment issue and complete lack of human support significantly damaged the overall experience.
I’m happy to update this review if the missing €20 is paid and the issue is resolved.

Update: After nearly a week without a response from a human support agent, Askable finally got back to me, apologized for the delay and paid the missing €20. I therefore received the full €100 incentive in the end.

I love this app. I was very sceptical but they do actually pay, in a good amount of time, and the surveys/interviews have been interesting so far. I have made £125 so far this month with £90 of that already been paid.

I can't rate highly enough!

After countless horrible experiences with other research companies, Askable really is the best in the business. Great app, even better support, prompt and fair payment!!

Avoid refusing to pay up for studies after contacting support their scammers have reported to trading standards and taking legal action

Have been signed up for over a month, applied for loads of various surveys and in that time have only been accepted onto one that in the hour it took me to open it had already reached max capacity. Feel like this is being posted all over social media purely to bolster their roster numbers when pitching to clients.

App itself is intuitive and simple to use (only reason I’ve given it 2 stars)

My experience with Askable has been incredibly frustrating and, in my view, highly unprofessional.

I successfully completed two surveys that initially appeared in my "Reward History" as pending payments. The following day, both surveys had disappeared from my Reward History altogether. When I reached out to customer support, I was met only with the "Askabot" AI, which provided a generic message about a "known issue" with payments.

After six days of silence and no resolution, I attempted to contact support again, specifically requesting to speak with a human. I waited for hours with no success.

The next day, I finally received a response from a staff member named Bella, who stated:

"After reviewing your account, we're unable to progress this further or offer additional opportunities at this time. We appreciate your understanding, and we won't be able to provide more detail on this decision."

This response did not address my missing payments or explain why the completed surveys had disappeared. Instead, it appeared that my account would no longer receive future survey opportunities, without any explanation.

This is concerning. I have consistently provided high-quality work, including video interviews where the clients themselves were impressed with my contributions. To have my work rejected and payment withheld—without a shred of explanation—is unacceptable.

To make matters worse, they have now effectively blacklisted me from future opportunities simply for inquiring about my unpaid earnings.

Based on my experience, Askable’s internal processes regarding payments are opaque and, frankly, raise serious questions about their business practices. If you are considering participating in their surveys, please be aware that they reserve the right to withhold payment for completed work at their discretion, with no accountability or clear recourse for the participant.

In my opinion, the customer support I received was poor, communication was lacking, and the way my case was handled fell well below the standard I expected. I also believe consumers should be able to receive a clear explanation when completed work is disputed or payment is withheld.

Disappointed with the service. I did a few research projects - got paid for the smaller ones. The big ones never got paid then messaged and emailed support. No response. Eventually got a reply saying can’t provide any more info and that was it.

I had spent effort doing all the research but never got paid

Was great until it wasn’t. Used the platform for about 18 months and bar one instance, quickly resolved by customer support, when no payment received, all seemed good.

Then everything changed a couple of months ago when a couple of surveys completed and no payouts. Messages on customer support saying they are only dealing with urgent matters. Had to chase for over a month then told account frozen but unable to specify why. Reading around this topic I understand it’s called ‘shadow banning’. Sent in an email appealing decision but heard nothing. Never knowingly tried to ‘gain the system’ so no idea why Askable’s took this decision. Had been a positive experience to this point. Wonder if others suffer same fate…do you reach some kind of algorithmic threshold and get frozen out.

Overall advice would be proceed with caution…certainly when the messages about only dealing with urgent matters proposed up on customer support was the point at which things went downhill. If still displaying this sort of message would be extra vigilant.
