I’ve been doing the unlimited rental service for a few months now. The product/service was really good at first, but the novelty and selection starts to dwindle, especially in my size (L/XL). I used the feature to have a stylist select my items a few times, the first 2 were great, got some neat items I probably wouldn’t have picked myself but that looked nice and fit well. The 3rd time the items were way off, the fabrics/styles didn’t fit my body type at all and I couldn’t wear anything from that selection - that was a real bummer. There is definitely room for improvement as far as helping clients find clothes that fit their body shape/size - several times I ordered jeans based on the recommended size and they didn’t fit at all. Similarly, I thought the app would pick up on my style over time based on my reviews, favorite items, things that I kept through more than one cycle or bought but it just seems kind of random - the algorithm is not very sophisticated for the cost of the service.

I will say that customer service has been really good at trying to make things right and they are very responsive. One thing that happened was my case got lost at or on the way to fedex, the weird thing was that after about 7-8 days the app said the items were in my possession but my tracking # showed no movement of the items. I assume there is some kind of rule built in to automatically move items to the “closet” from shipping once the estimated delivery date has passed - definitely recommend linking this to the tracking updates. Anyways I messaged customer service, they fixed my case to remove the items and they went into the history bucket so I was able to place a new swap order (mildly annoying since I had to wait again). About 2 weeks later the package shows up from fedex! Completely unexpected, but it was no big deal I just sent customer service another message and we straightened it out.

The browsing experience could be better, for example there is no color listed for the items and it’s hard to tell from your phone if something is dark green, navy, black, etc.. You also can’t see review/rating of an item when browsing, only from the item page - I wish I could see items that were popular/favorites. Also the app doesn’t seem to differentiate much on seasonally appropriate items, at least not through filtering/selections.

Overall I think the concept is really great, especially for someone that is trying to kind of find their style or explore nice clothing for wearing to work. I decided to join armoire because I had a baby then started a new job in a more professional setting so I needed nice clothes that fit well. For the cost, I would expect the app algorithms to be a bit more advanced and for there to be a better selection of items in my size. I’ve had the unlimited service for a few months now but I feel like I’m not really getting my moneys worth anymore and I’m likely going to switch to the 1x a month plan.

I didn’t like any of the outfits and I didn’t understand the process.

I am obsessed with the idea of renting my clothes. It’s affordable, easy and sustainably better in the long run.

I’m only on my third box, but I am enjoying having fresh options each month to mix into my wardrobe.

Beware, they charge to cancel! I signed up since you cannot see what styles they have until you do. In less than 12 hours, I canceled my service because they did not carry my style of clothing. I was contacted to try and keep the subscription, and I said no, I wanted to cancel it had been less than 24 hours since I signed up. A few more back-and-forth emails of me insisting I wanted to cancel, and they said they would but charged me $10! Why? Had I been able to look before I paid, I would have seen they were not my style of clothing. To charge someone who changes their mind in less than 12 hours of signing up is ridiculous! I would never recommend this company for that very reason to anyone!

Armoire is amazing! I’m so incredibly thrilled that I stumbled upon this rental company. The rental period is outstanding and gives the flexibility to wear multiple outfits over a span of 3 months. The clothing options at top quality and always flattering, making it tough to choose which items to swap (which is a good thing!). Definitely a winner and will keep using!

I really don’t understand how the process works. The timing is unclear. And a lot of the times the items that I select become unavailable.

I enjoy renting new styles from Armoire. The shipping is very fast, and the clothing is in great condition. It's fun to discover new brands and styles!

Love the idea and many of the styles, but more often than not the styles I'd like are either not available in my very standard size, or not available to me.

I really love the quality of clothing. I love that I get new pieces every month. The pictures of other users helps tremendously.

Great selection, I want to buy most of the apparel they send. It meets my needs far better than other clothing subscription services I've used in the past. The customer service is also helpful, although I have only sparingly need support for clarification issues.

My experience with Armoire has been wonderful from the first case I picked to the current clothes I have in my closet. Beautiful, varied choices and designers with flattering styles help make the monthly shopping fun and easy. Fast shipping and easy returns are also part of the process.

I love this subscription! It’s been a game changer for my career as I always feel stylish and confident at work. I recommend it to all of my friends. If you’re on the fence… go for it! The clothes are chic, classy, and indulgent. Amazing customer service and seamless renting process. I can’t wait for my next shipment.

The opportunities for extra gifts and deals show that they value their customers and you don't have to be the top tier of payment to treated well.

For a working professional I love renting my work clothes. Gives me a variety to add to my wardrobe for the month.

A great way to refresh your wardrobe and try new styles!

I subscribed to the unlimited package. However, the returns are not processed for 2-3 weeks after being returned to Armoire. When service started at a discounted rate, the returns seemed to flow nicely, allowing a return/restock about once a week (perfect for 6 items for work). However, once the first month was over, the app quit allowing replenishment despite my returns were all sent in timely.

Customer Service is only available via their app and only M-F 8-4 PST, so getting a quick response isn't practical during the evenings or on weekends to resolve any issue.

Clothes come tightly folded and really need to be ironed or fluffed in the dryer before wearing.

This definitely wasn't the service that I had anticipated for my maternity wear.
