Appliance Repair Training Arvostelua 

I have spent a total of 6 weeks at the NAC training centre learning how to repair UK White Good Appliances, throughout this time our teacher, Lee Robinson, has been an excellent and very knowledgeable teacher. He has been able to make a completely new skill very understandable and achievable. Without Lee’s expertise and help I would not be leaving this training a confident engineer.

Very intensive course that explains the inner workings of of white goods from cookers to microwaves. Each aspect from electrical safety to the repair of faulty goods was excellently explained in an easy and simple way to understand.

Lee is an amazing teacher who introduces the key aspects of Whitegoods repairs, a perfect balance of the theory behind repairs and utilising it in practise, 100% recommend for anyone new to the industry

The most common problem that home refrigerators have is a defrost problem. Instead of melting the ice off the frost builds until there is no airflow from the freezer into the refrigerator and then the refrigerator section becomes warm. I was not trained and I had to learn it on my own from service manuals until later in life. A business I worked for decided we should do warranty work and in order to do that you had to go to the manufactures training. And they were pretty good but I do not remember their names.

I was sent on the domestic appliance repair foundation course for 10 days by my boss, I found this course to be explanatory of all different appliances and in depth and simplified for anyone at any level and well explained by LEE. I Would've of liked an extra day on fridge freezers but then, have all the training information on my table that I can go back over it at any time, I found LEE to be really knowledgeable and easy to learn from especially about mosfet lol (IGBT) have you checked the chip numbers. If you read this LEE it was a pleasure to learn from you.

I gained immense amount of knowledge, taught by the right person who slowly talks through everything and ensures we’re all on the right page. The training modules will most definitely help me in the future and I’d be sure to use them if I struggle on field. Thank you and would highly recommend!
