Good quality, passion, commitment, and honesty, all the key features of angel investor are fulfilled here. Finding the right investors who are interested in our sector is very important. We have to go through meetings, due diligence, negotiations of terms, and more. It is a time-consuming process.

Waste of precious business money Angel Investments was for me, I was offering a profitable operating business that just needed a push! Was only contacted once by a dodgy Kenyan!!!

Throughout the past several years we have utilized the Angel Investment Network (AIN) as a source of Investor prospects. Throughout this journey we have iterated and reiterated our strategy to maximise success rate for the various raises.
If you treat AIN as any other Social Media campaign (understanding the audience, funnel and running A-B testing) it is an incredibly powerful tool. I would recommend AIN to anybody looking to secure Angel / Seed Round financing. One thing to keep in mind is AIN as a discovery site for your startup, seeking funding. Often times the most interesting contacts (whether commercial, strategic, advisory etc) pop up simply because of the visibility and exposure of the platform and this has led to several fruitful partnerships.

A haven for fraudsters praying on entrepreneurs who are just trying to make their dream to become a reality. You pay a listing fee, Fair enough they have to keep the servers and the web developers paid some how. You then pay for nudges.....this isn't a dating site.

It doesn't appear to me that the investors are vetted in any way shape or form. I went for 2 rounds with this page. lost $35,000 of money i didn't exactly have to waste with people who pretend to be someone they are not. Getting you to pay for due diligence with lots of money going to solicitors. Asking for identification under the guise of following guidelines and their own DD which i can only assume goes in the pile for them to be used for identity theft. If AIN does pick up that someone is a fraud they say they notified you but you never receive it. They advise it was sent out as a broadcast to your email, Again never got it. Any emails they do send you go to junk anyway so obviously not setup correctly to not fire off most of the more popular spam filters. No alerts sent via the websites internal message system which is my book would be a far better way of connecting since as someone looking to impress your constantly logged in to ensure you respond in a reasonable time.

So all in all 6 months of blood sweat and tears nearly $40k down the toilet and just about exhausted both mentally and physically from it.

I have no doubt some people have had success from this site but i think your going to be hard pressed to find quality investors here.

Xavier and the AIN team were a pleasure to work with. They have built an incredible network of investors who they can mobilse with the all important human touch very quickly. Our experience with AIN has been disappointing from start to finish. We went for the PRO package which over a 90-day period did not deliver a single enquiry - and only 3 investors viewed our profile.

When I got in touch with their team to question the lack of exposure really early on, despite paying for a PRO package, they replied stating they FELT they could not promote our service due to lack of traction (yet we were already doing £20k+ of MRR) and because they WEREN'T SURE about the price point of our offering.

We didn't realise when signing-up and paying £149 for their PRO package that the AIN team would use their creative licence to decide what business they promote on the platform.

We have now raised our full £500k Seed Round and AIN had zero input on the success of this round.

Judging by some of the reviews, I am sure a number of businesses will get value out of this platform, but overall we had nothing in return for the money we invested. What is even more disappointing in my opinion is the complete lack of account management on their PRO package to help us deliver exposure through their platform.

I'm pretty disappointed with this website. I used the novice package to try and it appears to provide you with zero value what so ever, and is just an opportunity to get you to upgrade to their pro (more expensive) version.

Overall I had nothing in return for the money I sent them, except e-mail after e-mail trying to upsell me on the more expensive packages.

I had no investors reach out to me at all.

The support and efforts experienced through working with AIN has been incredible. From refining our profile to connecting and securing our investment, we could not have partnered with anyone better.

Their network is also full of high quality investors unlike other platforms we looked at.

If you are looking to raise, AIN is the way to go!

I am giving one star because in 2019 it is just ridiculoud to ask for over £200 for posting on the network. It doesn't matter if you do or not have any investors on the network who would actually help or not. It is about false advertising and making people feel like it is necessary to pay for service like this when it... isn't! Please don't reply saying you've got cheaper options, if you want to include all the data that is what the bill comes up to. Stupid Stupid, utterly stupid. If it really worked for you, you'd just ask for % off the deal. Nope nope nope for me. Soz, There are better was of getting investment. thaaaankkks
