This company promises a full refund if you don't get any genuine interest from investors while your pitch is being promoted. This is a good way to 'lessen the blow' for poor startups who are struggling to raise money and where £100+ is a large cost.

I subscribed to this deal and they were very helpful throughout the process. They even gave me a promotional discount which I had missed a deadline for.

The reason I give them 1 star is because I find their business model to be dishonest. Apparently the terms say that you must apply for said refund within 7 days of the subscription ending, otherwise you have missed your chance. I would be interested how many people set an alarm in their calendar to make sure they don't miss this window when the 90days subscription is over (assuming they read the terms in the first place). They also don't send any communicative emails at all. I suspect this is so that you forget when the subscription ends, and hence miss the window? Just my opinion of course.

I missed the window by a few weeks. I use the word 'dishonest' above because this is not how I think a business should be run; the refund is offered because you didn't get any interest - not because you're good at setting calendar alarms! If you're entitled to a refund you're entitled to a refund; why does there need to be such a small window in order to get one? What difference does it make if it was 30 days and not 7? To be denied a refund on a technicality like this is dishonest.

Many weeks of emails came to no resolution; they are obviously very content to hide behind this red-tape!

Full of bots and fake investors, wasted over £2,000 and found out the hard way.

Absolutely terrible. I used AIN for my startup after reading many positive reviews, but soon did I realise just how expensive and ineffective their service was! Not to mention they refused to issue a refund despite previously agreeing one, citing that I didn't message them again 5 days before my second free month subscription. Please avoid this company at all costs. I've had more luck contacting angels directly on LinkedIn for FREE!

If I could give AIN 0 stars I would without a doubt.

I do not normally leave reviews as I feel that it is a waste of my time however, AIN has scrounged almost £300 from me, a startup business owner who already needs money, and then refused to pay the refund. I have repeatedly requested refunds from this company but they are uncooperative and unhelpful. Do not spend your money unless you have the money to spend on lawyers as well.

AIN is scamming small businesses and I was a victim so that you don’t have to be.

I must say as an investor I have met a number of savvy business owners who really know what they are doing. I can only give this site 4 stars as they can always do something better. I don't know what but they are far and above most sites I have visited.

Huge scam. Stay clear!!! To provide you with some personal credentials so you can trust my review - I have founded 3 businesses, raised over £3m in equity for these and have recently served as Head of Global Strategy for Gartner’s ranked #1 European leader for healthcare cloud services. I have just founded another business for which I am raising capital. Having signed up and paid £300 to load my pitch on the Angel Investment Network I was approached by one 'investor' who wanted to export our solutions to Australia (who had no business experience or experience in our sector), another 'investor' who lured me into several long meetings only to try and sell me their services, another 'investor' who pretended to be a high net worth individual with interest to invest $10m who took me through a due diligence process for it to turn out to be a hoax, and another 'investor' who approached us only for us to later find out that they wanted us to parter with one of their other failing portfolio companies, which made no sense. Yet another person approached us selling something else - at least they didn't first pretend to be an investor, but clearly not why I joined this platform. I have now raised >£720k from VCs and angels from other sources with the same business plan for the same business. I have not had any success with this platform. All the investors appear to be fake! I asked for my money back, in line with their 'Money Back Guarantee'. They tried to convince me to try for longer, which I did. When I then returned with no success, they said my money back guarantee period had expired and I was no longer eligible!! I am absolutely furious!! Had they told me that by accepting their request to try longer, that I would lose my refund which I was at the time eligible for, I would have never chosen to try it for longer. Stay away from this awful company! They are not for you and will not help you raise money - they will just take yours!

I got my project listed on AIN underthe Global Pro plan. After the first month, the team at AIN reviewed my Pitch and listed it for second month for free. At the end of the second month and given that I didn't receive any genuine interest from the investors, I got a full refund as per AIN refund policy. We read the '90 day money back guarantee if you don't get any genuine enquiries' and thought they must be providing a bonafide service. How wrong could we be!!!!

The 90 day money back guarantee does not mean they will EVER give you your money back

You have to let them know at least five days before your 30 day listing expires if you didn't get any response - we did actually get two replies, neither of them investors, one trying to sell us something, the other looked like they were trying to scam us

Then, apparently they rewrite your pitch. Although in our case they didn't because we contacted them too early. If you then lose track of the days and don't tell them in time, they'll take another month's subscription - which they can't refund because they don't refund renewals (obviously!)

So in theory, there's a magic moment in time (during the first month) where you can reach out and say 'my pitch isn't working' and they'll rewrite and relist it for you for another month, for free. And if that doesn't get any response, and you let them know at the second very specific magic moment in time, then - and only then - do they refund you

I have no idea how this qualifies as a 90 day money back guarantee, because I can't even see where 90 days comes into play here

In summary this was a total waste of time and money and the company is an utter joke. Would not touch them with a bargepole

Getting investors/funding for films is the hardest part, especially during the development phase, but AIN has proved to be a viable source, helping us secure a handful of investors from the start, and propelling our film into production

DO NOT USE THEIR WEBSITE! Everything they do is extremely scammy. When my pitch didn’t receive any interest I requested a refund as I decided not to pursue this start up. I was told I cannot get I. Instead they will give me a “free” 1 month and after that I can request a refund. Month passed I requested a refund and was told I cannot get it because I have to submit a request 5 days prior to end of the second listing. It’s a complete joke because the customer service never mentioned that. Just how great that I will get a second listing and I can get a refund after that.

Genuinely the best investment team we have ever worked with. We've successfully raised 2 rounds recently, both in under 1 month timespans. Ideally you have to have a revenue/traction generating business model for the investors to see as a proof of concept and the rest is quite smooth sailing.

The best parts are:
1 - Team support on every step of the journey.
2 - Sheer size and diversity of the investors.
3 - Rapid speed of the funding round.

We were looking to add additional angel investors to our existing investor team and turned to AIN to expand our reach. Their team was very responsive and their customer service was first class! The number of investor connections greatly exceeded our expectations and we appreciate that several of the AIN investors made investments into our offering. We are now positioned to attract and close our Series A fund investments, thanks to AIN. I highly recommend AIN to both entrepreneurs and investors.

Here is how they operate.. you pay $200 USD to speed up your startup. nothing happen for 30 days.. just days later before you can request the refund based on the policy a "bot investor" appear and send you a email. said that angel investment don't honor the refund policy because you got a "investor interested" in fraud and it should be persecute federally.

The platform was fairly intuitive to use, apart from the nudging feature which was difficult because you couldn't read the messages after you sent them. Otherwise clear and straightforward.

The staff were friendly and helpful when my first round was unsuccessful and they offered a free extension and extra nudges. After this unsuccessful attempt, they did refund the price as per their policy, without question. We may try again to fundraise on this platform again, with a different strategy.

Complete and utter garbage. You will not get any interest, do not waste a dollar. Tried it multiple times, paid for multiple months. Nothing.

Careful with your money people. These guys debit your card without prior consent.

There are plenty of alternatives that operate with more integrity.

I found this site disappointing. I have used it on two occasions several years apart. These are the improvements I feel are necessary.
1. Transparency in refunds: no variations in terms.
2. No upsells, just upfront payment for access period: [you have to chase Investors; they do not approach you much]
3. Investors need to be properly scrutinised by AIN as to level of experience: I experienced lots of time-wasters and idea-theft [avoid MFowler UK | OZ idea-thief]
4. Investors need to be properly scrutinised: KYC, previous investments - not just a quick look on LinkedIN AIN post-contact but before Investors are admitted to the site and experience made clear. Standard is too low.
5. Clearly determine ACTIVE investors vs NON-ACTIVE otherwise your are wasting time and money if they contain on the paid nudge system. This is your job AIN - chase to see who is active and who is not.
6. Prevention of document downloads: preview only until they commit to invest - lots of hard work and your business passion can be randomly accessed and distributed without protection. This is not excessive tech. for one of the biggest Angel Investment Networks.
7. A better attitude towards Clients and some respect. This is our hard work and we are relying on you. Put yourself in your Client's shoes. Some of us need to eat and support our families and have spent a low of time working on our Business Plans. I mean years!
8. This is not just a 'numbers game'. A better service offering will mean that Entrepreneurs have better success in finding the right Investors, faster. That is what value is.

No real investors

The site doesn't appear to have any actual investors. Our pitch received no interest. Once you have filled everything out they just want to ask you for more and more upgrades. Very disappointing

No valid investor on the platform. They advertise they have 200.000 investors but I didn't get any good, neither just for informations. Support answers after 2 - 3 days. Definitely not a valid tool for own campaign. Refunded from Paypal
