Dont Trust the SCAM WINNING COMPETITION !! Beware Women 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩,
I received a Winning Text from 2 Different Women on 2 Separate weeks , I was really delighted at the time and excited to go as I’ve never won a competition in my life before , but good Job I did the RESEARCH and came across these Reviews before I even considered planning my trip to Manchester ,
As previous women have mentioned about the text messages constantly pressuring you to Head down to Their Studio for this supposedly one in a life time experience, you’d expect everything to be Completely FREE!! As you have Won right? ,
After the second week went by after the first mesage I received,
I left a message to the second women that texted me called RENEE , I asked her If she could please let me Know if I have to PAY FOR THESE PACKAGES
Just to be extra sure of what I was getting my self into ,
SURPRISE SURPRISE !!! She didn’t even mention any prices or respond to the question I was even asking, which raised my RED FLAGG!! Right their 🚩🚩,
Anyway I decided to give her a long paragraph response back on about how this was unfair to scamming women around the whole country and it was such a shame! They do this ,
The response I got was unhealthy “ I understand I will pass your price to someone else “
Yet for the con to proceed…. 😐
Do your research First Ladies because am glad I so Did ! I saved my self atleast £600 - £1000 !!!
What’s worse it that my partner even said to me check they don’t charge first cause that’s how they rope you IN!!

What a rollercoaster of emotions. Firstly, I just wanted to say that all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately my experience has been completely overshadowed by the fact that I have felt scammed by this company.

The initial phone call with Claire left me feeling excited to go for my photoshoot as a "competition winner". I was told I would get a £125 voucher towards makeup products if I wanted and that I would get the experience for free and a nice glass of Prosecco to settle the nerves.

Then I received a welcome package in the post with my drink voucher and some leaflets explaining the whole experience.
(This did in fact mention the option of paying for photos at the end; however, the leaflets look like the general ones, which I would assume were for normal, paying customers, so I disregarded this. It also does not explain the price of the photos in this leaflet – clever tactic).

After phone calls & texts about how I would like my hair and makeup done, etc., I was ready for the photoshoot.
Again, everyone was very welcoming and lovely. The makeup artist was very nice, however, she didn't do my makeup as I would have liked. I did ask for cooler tones but I felt like my eyeshadow was too warm and the bronzer was very orange for my cool toned skin – but this is by the by.

The photo studio was a bit dingy and could have used some fresh paint – again, I was willing to look past this.
Sharmaine, the photographer was very lovely, and I couldn't fault her work. However at the end of the session she started talking me through the photo options and payment options which left me feeling very confused.
And when I asked the front desk about being a competition winner and having the experience for free and asked what exactly did I "win", no one could give me a straight answer.

She then sent me home with an envelope that I couldn't open until Wednesday (again a marketing tactic to keep the excitement going through the week until I went for the viewing session). This contained a bar of chocolate, which, by the way I'm dairy-free so that went down like a lead balloon.

The time came for my viewing session and I was ready to give a full on complaint about my experience and how I shouldn't be paying anything for the photos as a competition winner. The option I wanted was for 10 photos on a USB for the total of £645 (this is the cheapest option by the way).

I don't understand how they can be okay with charging these prices to begin with, but as a "competition winner" surely I shouldn't have to pay for anything? Or at least take my £60 deposit towards the 10 photos.

I have spent my valuable time and petrol money to go to this experience and some women, by the looks of it, have travelled HOURS under false pretences that they will walk away with their photos for free, the same as me.

And on top of that, the photos are only okay. I'm no supermodel to be sure, but they haven't exactly filled me with the confidence I was hoping for.

Anyway, after my viewing I wanted to complain but Rosanna was so nice with me, I didn't want to ruin her day, and as a naturally shy person I couldn't bring myself to shout, so I just calmly told her how I felt. I did get a little welled up with emotion but it was hard to control. Rosanna dealt with my calm complaint really well and offered two digital photos for me, using my £125 voucher and £60 deposit, so that I didn't have to pay anything. I still think this was very expensive for just 2 photos but I didn't have the energy to complain further at this point, so I just took it.

If you are okay with spending hundreds, if not thousands, of pounds for boudoir photos, then go for it. But I'm afraid the friendly staff is the only saving grace here. The rest of my experience was a complete letdownand left a sour taste in my mouth.

Absolutely amazing staff everyone was so welcoming made you feel at home and relaxed with food and drinks, Would definitely recommend the experience of having a photo shoot, It’s an incredible experience I will never forget. Thank you.

I recently won a competition with Andrew Wood Photography and was contacted by Claire Wrigley, who told me over the phone that I had won an amazing package. I was informed that this prize included a photoshoot, a viewing of my photos, a free A4 print of one of my photos, and a USB stick with my photos.

I attended my photoshoot yesterday, and I must say the experience itself was fantastic – the team made me feel comfortable and it was an empowering session. However, afterwards I was left feeling anxious and confused. When I went to book the viewing of my photos, I was asked how I would be paying for the photos/USB and the viewing itself. This was very different to what I had originally been told.

On top of this, I was asked to pay a £35 “refundable deposit,” which I found strange given that I had supposedly won a competition prize. In my experience, genuine competitions don’t come with hidden fees. The whole process has left me feeling cheated and taken advantage of, as it felt more like a sales tactic designed to pressure me into buying photos.

The packages for purchasing photos ranged from £645 to £1,345, which is completely unrealistic and unaffordable for me as a student. I don’t expect to “get the world” just because I won a competition but I do expect to receive the prize that I was told I had won.

Unfortunately, while the photoshoot itself was enjoyable, the overall experience has been overshadowed by the lack of transparency and what feels like a hard sell.

From the first phone call through to the final showcase for the pictures, every single person was polite, happy and friendly.
The surroundings are amazing, you want for nothing.

My whole experience with Andrew Wood Photography from start to finish was outstanding. Everyone I engaged with went above and beyond and made me feel so comfortable. I completely forgot about any insecurities, which is a huge deal for me. I loved every part!

I won a competition for a boudoir shoot which I was shocked and thrilled about, and being the skeptic I am I asked what the catch was, there was no catch! I was offered a selection of drinks to have while I had my hair and makeup done, then went and had a very relaxed and confidence boosting photo shoot with the lovely Alyssa. Afterwards I had a sneak peek at a photo before leaving. While I waited to come for my viewing which was less than a week later I received a message with a little video with another sneak peek at a picture which made me more excited to see my images. When I came back to view my pictures we had a lovely cosy room with a big screen and a drink and popcorn and we watched a little film of all my photos. I was able to choose one photo free as part of the competition prize which was quite difficult to decide so I ended up with 2 and paid for one, I was given my prints straight away so no waiting for them. It was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish.

I've never had a photoshoot and to have a boudoir one as well I was very nervous especially knowing that I was going to be wearing the outfits I chose, I had my hair and make up done and then I met my photographer Georgia who was very nice and guided me through all the poses and after a little while I forgotten what I was wearing and the photo's at the viewing the following week were amazing, I still can't believe it's me.
The overall experience was fantastic

From start to finish premium service! Thanks to Renae, Mel, Kelly, Shona, Katie and Megan my experience with Andrew Wood photography studio was one to truly remember! The boost of confidence I really needed. Thank you everyone 100% recommend this VIP treat!

I won the boudoir experience with Andrew Wood Photography and cannot fault the service I received. I shared the experience with a friend and we were all booked in for the 9th originally and then I was called in for a procedure at the hospital a few days before. They were understanding and accommodating and rebooked us in for the 23rd. On top of that, they understood we were travelling up from Essex and worked hard to book our viewing in for the next day.

Reception were welcoming and friendly, got us our drinks and are so approachable, instantly getting rid of any nerves you might have. Megan in particular was very attentive on both visits and quick to reply to any texts we might have sent. No question is silly.

Carson did my make up and left me feeling glamorous and still looking like me, she did a Smokey eye tinted in blue that contrasted with my blonde and pink hair. And she listened when I said my natural curls and coils was most important to me.

Hannah, my photographer made me feel sensational. We laughed and connected and honestly, I forgot I was in my underwear. It was really easy to get into the experience.

My friend and I shared our viewing experience and Grace handled us so well! Grace was informative, complimentary, listened well to us and also advised us when we were uncertain and had a method in place for breaking down choosing photos for our budget in a way that wasn’t overwhelming.

Any time we were concerned about anything and communicated this, the team worked quickly to ensure we happy and satisfied. The calls made prior to the shoot are designed to really ensure your shoot is designed to suit you and your budget and you can tell they work really hard to make your shoot unique to you and work with you.

I have walked away feeling like it was just what I needed after a really rough time and feeling sexy and empowered.

I would recommend Andrew Wood Photography and really hope they expand a branch to Essex.

A really enjoyable experience and I love the photos! The whole team make you feel so at ease, and the calls and emails during the process made sure I was really comfortable on the day with no questions unanswered. Being talked through the shoot - something I never thought I would have the confidence to do - and then seeing my photos has been really life affirming and a massive confidence boost

What am amazing experience from start to finish, lovely welcoming from the receptions, lovely chat whilst having hair & make up done, the photographer put me at ease showing me the poses to get the best out of my experience then the relaxed viewing of my wonderful pictures

I had such a fantastic day yesterday. I had been stressing my self out all week getting closer to the day. The day came and I was soo nervous
I arrived on the day and met Megan in the reception she was so lovely and really took the edge off. It was a calming atmosphere she offered me and my partner a drink of course we couldn’t say no.
My make up artist was Katie she was lovely at the start I was really quite but as the time when on i felt really comfortable with her. She listened to what I wanted and really pulled out all the bags for me.
I have really sensitive skin and nothing that she used affected my skin. Thank you I love it!
My photography was christina she made me feel really confident I’ve never done anything like this before and by the end I loved it! Thank you soo much you really made me believe in my self and I can’t wait to see the outcome.
Me and my partner got to see a couple of previews and I was shocked I didn’t think I looked like that. I looked an amazing thank you soo much girls!

From entering the studio it was all about me. The staff are so friendly and made me feel like a queen for the day. Loved having the makeover and it gave me so much confidence and having the shoot made me feel sexy and empowered.

I had such an amazing experience the entire day I was there.
Laura welcomed me warmly with a welcome drink and wee chat to put me at ease.
My make-up and hair was done so beautifully by Georgia making me feel fabulous throughout.
Before, during and after my shoot Alyssa made me feel like a sexy powerful woman giving me so much confidence in myself.
Everything was well organised and streamlined so there was no hanging around and I was made to feel unique and special throughout the whole day.

Everyone was so friendly and made me feel so comfortable. The shoot was amazing, she made me feel confident and sexy! My hair and makeup was exactly as I’d asked for and the reception staff were so lovely. Can’t wait to see my pictures.

Due to past trauma and various life experiences that haven't been pleasant i found working and being in a all woman's environment calming and at ease. I was made to feel like a vibrant beautiful woman and I am the pictures prove it.
