First off took awhile to get engine that's understandable but when I was told I had 3 days of to look over engine I did that sameday sent email that the throttle body was broke they in return said that part is not covered on the warranty but you sent it to me broke didn't try to fix the problem just told me to use my old one from my engine no taking money off no apologies bad business told them I would be leaving this review

Sent the part we needed overnight, awesome service!

I ordered a part from AutoParts.com on March 24 and paid extra for rush shipping. The experience was extremely frustrating from start to finish.

After weeks of delays and multiple follow-ups, the company marked my order as “completed” before I had even received the part. I was then told by customer service that UPS estimated delivery for April 17, but the part did not actually arrive until April 21 — nearly a month after ordering despite paying for expedited shipping.

Communication throughout the process was inconsistent and exhausting. I repeatedly had to reach out for updates, clarification, and resolution instead of receiving proactive communication from the company.

The delay also created additional problems for me personally because I had ordered the part specifically to repair a vehicle before a trade-in deadline. By the time the part arrived, the timing issue had already caused complications and additional cost.

I understand delays can happen, but charging for rush shipping and then taking nearly a month to deliver while prematurely marking the order “completed” is unacceptable. Tomorrow is 10 business days from when they received the part and I’ve followed up multiple times and still do not have a refund. Overall, this was a stressful and disappointing experience, and I would not order from this company again.

I have been using AM for well over 10 years with no issues until recently. So I write this as a Caution for future buyers.

I ordered some fuel injectors on a Thursday, needing them for the next day (let me be fair, I overlooked the 2pm cutoff time) . One option I had was next day air which I chose so I would have them Friday. So because I missed the cutoff time they were not going to ship until Friday afternoon and because it’s a weekend I won’t receive until Monday. I had a free delivery option that would have gotten them to me around that same time frame without paying a $17.99 fee.

If you order from AM please be aware of this so you aren’t paying fees for something you could have gotten free. They will not refund the fee and this seems deceptive in my opinion to any reasonable person.

Amazing Support! Found a part for my Chrysler I was looking for for over half a year in 1 day thanks to their great knowledge.

Ordered a mirror for Chevy 2500HD with tow mirrors. Description from AM said their part was exact fit for 2500HD, my year, with tow mirrors (and heated mirror that I didn't need). When it comes, it's for a 1500. It was a drop ship from a company called Trail Ridge. And looking up that part number on the box, the Trail Ridge number, it's for a 1500 only. Tried to send back, 3 different emails, none were replied to by them.

I've been purchasing autoparts for multiple vehicles from AM Auto for over 10 years. I find there customer service, quality, pricing and 10 year warranty is superior to any box store or ebay motors. I encourage everyone to give them a try. AM is A1 to me and my family and friends.

Purchased brake pads and rotors for a 2005 Honda CR-V. Their eBay store is obviously incorrect when you check their compatibility for vehicles. It showed that it was a good fit and confirmed fit for my vehicle. I received what I ordered and it was not for my vehicle. I was able to return and receive my money back. I left a feedback stating what had happened and they decided to lie on their reply.

1. I didn't get your so called "Same day shipping if ordered by 2PM EST". Instead, I received a tracking number the day after. eBay's shipping window applies when the tracking number is provided/shipped so obviously it was going to be delivered within that time.

2. They replied saying it was my fault I ordered the wrong part, but they failed to make sure their compatibility check was correct. It even lists BMW's and other various models that the brake rotors/pad were "supposed" to work with as well. After doing a quick search on the part number on the box upon arrival, they were for a Toyota.

Shady!!! They dont necessarily cover warranties, cant say never because maybe they have but not mine. I paid 4600.00 for used engine in August. Had it installed. Spent 2 months and about 3500.00 in shop chasing down why engine won't run except in limp mode. 3rd shop finally diagnosed as internal issue. Now between all, Im in 10000.00 to find out it's 3500.00 to correct. I followed all warranty requirements. Finally contacted them about warranty. Emailing multiple people with invoices, diagnostics, estimates and I made a typo in one email on install date. I immediately re emailed I made the typo provided them with details on dates and they denied saying engine not installed ins 30 days. I emailed again with correct timeliness and after 2 phone calls and 3 more messages, it's crickets. No response. Daniel and Rocky are crooked. Be very aware of all the reviews about this company and this exact issue. They sold me a defective engine which any scanner could have picked up the code so I believe they were aware of the issue but there was no way for my mexhanic to know until money spent to install engine. Now they won't cover the internal repair. Engine has about 55 miles in limp mode. Any legit company would pay for repair or cost to refund engine cost, shipping and cost to remove engine.

Never buy from this company. They are scammers. In my experience, I bought a transmission from them with a 3-year warranty that arrived damaged, with one of the gears grinding. They told me to keep using it as is because they didn't have another transmission to replace it at the moment, but that they would let me know as soon as they got one. That never happened. After a year of using it with that defect, the transmission was completely damaged. When I called to ask them to find a solution, they gave me many excuses not to honor the warranty. This company should be shut down and its people jailed for stealing from customers. Especially that disrespectful excuse-maker Daniel in the Warranty department.

The address listed is for "1A auto", I dont know who "AM auto" is but this address is not theirs. "1A auto" is legit, I've used them several times but I am not sure about this "AM auto" or why they are piggybacking on a legit auto parts sites address. Buyers beware!!

If I could give -10 star review I would this place is horrible stay far away I ordered a transmission from them after waiting almost 3 weeks to get it not only was it the wrong transmission but even if was right one he couldn't be used , it had been in a fire to where all the sensors were melted into the transmission to were u couldn't even get them out to put new ones in , then they want me to pay for shipping to ship it back , but no I refuse to do that if I ordered the wrong one then yes I would pay for shipping but I didn't I ordered the right one so it's on them for not sending right one terrible company, they say they do a complete inspection of the transmission before shipping so how can they do that but yet send a transmission that has been in a fire Stay away

Please and I mean please never buy a motor nor transmission from this place they sent me a motor that with blown head caskets and when I filed the claim they did everything possible to figure out away to deny my claims I was robbed by this company and I’m sure I’m not the only one the have robbed

We thought we had found the right place to get our transmissions, and motors...But, after a while things started going wrong. They offer a warranty, but won't honor it...We had a transmission & engine go bad, but now they don't answer the phone for us, and don't call us back..
Can't do business that way. And won't do business with them ever again.
Think twice about these people, they are scammers.

Extremely frustrating dealing with this company. Ordered parts for Chevrolet Silverado 3500. According to information given on site, the parts were a fit for the vehicle, yet when attempted to install, it was obvious the parts would not fit. After twice attempting to return parts for full refund, finally had to use chat method for information on the return process. Had to pay $91.50 shipping for return of item, as they don't pay shipping for return. The experience has been a total waste of time and money. It has taken 16 days to try to resolve this issue. On an order of $247, I have had to pay $91.50 to return the the parts. Total $338.50 out of pocket and can't do any repair on the vehicle now due to lack of parts and money now tied up on this issue.
