Excellent
I rang the company a couple of times with questions, and Nick, in the Worthing branch couldn't have been more helpful. Once I'd placed my order he rang back and we arranged a delivery time to suit me.
The sleepers that I ordered were delivered carefully and are of really high quality and look great in the garden. One happy customer. Can highly recommend. Thank you!

Good staff support
Ordering on line suggested all 4 required items would be available in store to collect. Unfortunately, the stock count was inaccurate and I was left 1 short on the day. However, the staff chased up what was required and notified me as soon as it was available again in store. Good personal service!

Sittingbourne branch
Went to the Sittingbourne branch to order wood that needed cutting into lots of different length and sizes. The team were very friendly and Mark the Dummer could not have been more helpfully when it came to cutting the wood. Making the build when at home very quick and easy. Would happy trade there again.

Oma-aloitteinen arvostelu
Good quility decking
Good quility decking, delivered on time and seemed to be the only supplier in our area, who's pictures on the website of the profile of the decking boards acturally matched the ones delivered.

Ordered timber via the website
Ordered timber via the website. Delivery was on the date stated. Office gave an update on delivery when asked. Driver was helpful and friendly. Quality of timber was good. Thought I would avoid a delivery charge on an order of >£150, but was charged £10.

Great value, easy ordering, top quality.
Great value. Easy ordering process. On time delivery. Excellent quality sleepers. Also, I asked them to deliver to a spot which turned out to be impractical. They popped a 450kg pallet neatly on my front lawn instead. A perfect solution executed on the spot with no fuss. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Expired product sold
The delivery was perfect. Special thank you to the driver ((Matt) who was very nice and helpful.
The downside, I received an expired product confirmed by the brand of it. Alford told me that they will change it next day and the didn't even call me as they agreed. I need to return the item.

The driver delivering my order of oak sleepers was on his own so I had to help him unload them.
The driver delivering my order of oak sleepers was on his own so I had to help him unload the sleepers which were very heavy. Having said that he was also very helpful in helping me carry them through to the back garden. A delivery team of 2 would have been more suitable. The sleepers were more weathered and cracked than I would have liked and, because Alsfords don't have a facility to cut oak sleepers I had to saw some of them by hand saw to cut them into half lengths.
