The line-dancing tutors were so good humoured and professional. We were a hen party of 50 and they taught us a few routines we can reproduce during the evening wedding celebrations. It was so, so, fun: loads of laughter, loads of us getting to know each other, loads of lively, energetic, line-dancing. It was a great activity!

Currently having a very frustrating experience with Alive Network.

We booked a specific named artist for our wedding, only to then be told they were unable to perform due to health-related issues (now described as “force majeure”). Based on that, we had to make alternative arrangements elsewhere to ensure our day wasn’t at risk.

Despite this, Alive Network are refusing to return our deposit, arguing they can offer a “suitable alternative”, even though our contract was for a specific artist, not a substitute.

Communication has been inconsistent throughout, and we’re now stuck in a position where we don’t feel we can rely on the original booking, but are still expected to lose money if we walk away.

Very disappointing handling of what should be a straightforward situation.

I would strongly encourage others to think carefully before booking, particularly if certainty and clear accountability are important to you.
