but your explanation is misleading and omits the critical facts of my case.
1. Verbal Agreement Ignored – Your own account manager (Nathan) assured me verbally that my account would be swap-free based on my trading volume and strategy. This was honoured consistently for over 7 months. At no point was I told this was a “religious-only” feature, nor were any written terms provided to me during that time (if you had requested I provided a proof I was a muslim I can provide it). To suddenly reverse this arrangement retroactively and apply $23,000 in charges is not transparency — it is a breach of trust.
2. Profits Irrelevant to the Complaint – Mentioning my past withdrawals (the $130,000) is a distraction. The issue is not whether I once made profits, but that you unilaterally imposed charges after months of agreement. Those profits do not justify unfair or retroactive practices - are you also insinuating you are not happy I made profits?
3. No Prior Notice or Documentation – If you believed I was “ineligible,” why was the swap-free status applied for months without any concern? Why was no written agreement provided from the beginning? Why was I not warned before $23,000 in charges were imposed?
3. Life-Changing Impact – This sudden reversal has left me financially ruined, caused severe emotional stress, and strained my family.
In short, your response does not address the core issue: a verbal agreement was made, honoured for months, and then unilaterally reversed at enormous cost to me, without notice or transparency.
I stand by my review so that other traders are aware of the risks of dealing with ACY.
