RUN -do not walk- AWAY. Mike Ablan led me to believe he could help us before we paid the $5,000 retainer fee. After that, he billed us for $360 each to send emails when a simple 2-minute phone call would've worked. Additionally, he mixed-up my and my father's social security numbers AND addresses(!) In the first week, he received a document that completely solved our tax question but continued to bill until our $5,000 was gone, provided no contacts or benefits, and now I am self-performing the work we paid him to do. Everything was solved with a 30-min phone call to WI Dept. of Revenue. Notice how so many 5-star reviews of this firm seem to be friends &/or provide no detail. Please see the ONE review below that provides an honest accounting of this service. I had a similar experience, he wanted me to hire an additional attorney that he knew and then tried to hire ANOTHER attorney when I withdrew and asked questions about the invoice, etc. Confusing, delays & expensive w/ no help. Like the other true reviewer, I would not wish this experience on anyone. Tax issues are stressful enough, and our dealings with this firm only made things worse. Mike will likely write a trite response below, but please believe the true reviews and RUN.
