1 star is way too generous! Quite possibly the worst company I've ever dealt with. The lift has in my flat has been broken for nearly 3 months. Nearly every tenant has called and everyone gets a different repair date which never happens. A2 claim contractors are coming to fix it and the contractors have no idea about it. Avoid getting a place with A2!!

OMG horrible, awful. So many comments I could put about my experience with A2 Dominion housing. I've been a tenant of A2 for nearly 30 years. The staff in the income support office are unhelpful, unsupportive. A2 dominion are robbers. They sent me a statement telling my that my service charge was £500+ in arrears and I need to make arrangements for payment. I contacted them to work out a payment plan. When I finished paying an extra £80 per month over 6 months, I tried to contact income support to make sure the final payment would be my last. It turns out I didn't owe them anything and my account was £780 in credit. They knew their mistake, but they never contacted me to apologise or cancel the extra payments they were taking from me. Thru just kept on taking the extra money anyway. I left so many messages for the income support team to call me back. Nobody ever did. Now I've received another statement saying I owe £250 in service charges. Left two messages for them to call me back. Again nothing. If you value your sanity, don't deal with them. Greedy, unhelpful, money-grabbers. Nasty.

I have tried three times to speak to somebody to booking a viewing your property advertising on right move. All I get is terrible music and no answer from the lettings department. It’s an awful service thank God I’m not a landlord otherwise my property would never get rented

There is nothing right with this housing provider, they provide no service all their way up to their managing directors and executive board. They lie about service charges and repair costs incurred for the year, and they do this repeatedly. Upon questioning they threaten and bully residents. They have some very incompetent staff all the way up to the top boss, they are rude and unreliable. The never do any repair works and if they do these are just superficial paint and plaster jobs which then lead to massive repair work in the end. However, they do charge residents the costs for big repairs every single time, but no we cannot question them or ask details of the costs incurred. They don't care about residents safety, currently living in a building with fire and safety concerns, but we could be talking to the walls because A2D don't care about it for the last 10 years. We have safeguarding issues. We have concerns around cleaning and maintenance. We have leaks in the building. They keep increasing rent costs and service changes with no justification. The list of concerns is endless, so I will just end by saying- Don't but or rent A2D properties, unless you want to increase your stress and anxiety and more importantly, do not give your hard earned money to a housing provider like A2Dominion who will not deliver or provide any service.

Terrible.

previously received an email regarding items left in the communal area. Emailed the leasehold property manager back to discuss further. i did not receive a response and two men who would not advise who they worked for arrived at the property and forcefully took the item in question. spoke with 4 advisers who all told me the leasehold manager was on lunch and would call me back to discuss. when speaking with an adviser i asked as to who would be liable if my partner had an accident whilst carrying a child and pram down the stairs. the gentleman laughed & said i cannot comment. how companies such as a2dominon continuously get away with horrendous customer service is frightening. still awaiting call back from leasehold manager. item taken from them still missing. police to be informed.

Place is to small, breaking law states that a 10 year old and 5 or 6 year old is not allowed to share the same room also when uploading or trying to move they will put you on the lowest rank ever so it’s impossible to get out of the living conditions, bad support and service etc, not a good place to live in.

Had to contact them 3 or 4 times, getting mixed answers.
They do not have any properties available to rent, as i was told from their agents even thought they advertise that they have more than 50 properties as let agreed.

Once again this housing association has let me down regarding repairs . Booked a plumber to come out to mend a leaking hot tap , was given an appointment date and time , arranged for someone to be at home as I work full time, rang A2 at 3pm on the day to check they were still coming and was told yes , got home from work and surprise surprise they had not turned up . This has happened on numerous occasions over the years. This housing association seriously needs to look at their contractors

I very rarely leave reviews and even less negative ones but I felt it my duty to warn others of this company. I moved into one of their properties and there were leaks in 3 separate parts of the home due to their negligence. Due to these leaks, our home became infested with filter flies, and were made to live with this pest for months, which can also spread diseases. It took them 10 MONTHS to resolve their leak issues only for us to then find another leak, we are 2 months since raising this issue and they still haven't resolved this issue. I have never in my life had to deal with a company like this. For your own benefit AVOID this company.

Horrific company. Have had an open complaint with them since February. They are still showing their incompetence to resolve this issue regardless of the fact they have admitted multiple times that it is their error. Absolute joke. Continuing to incorrectly steal money from me and are now advising me it will be another 8 weeks to have it implemented. However, still no talks of having my money returned back to me! Quick to take money that does not belong to them but impossible to have it refunded back.

I have made complaints over the last 11 years about noise from my neighbours.
This has severely affected my mental health and has caused me to stay away at times from my flat, because my flat doesn’t feel safe.
I have tried everything, and even though there are 4 children in the flat (including 2 teenagers) the noise has increased.
I cannot seem to get anywhere with A2 Dominion. I am a broken man and I don’t know what to do.

after very poor service from a2 dominion, this morning i had great help from marie in housing and repairs dept . she took great trouble to resolve my problem . wonderful for your company to have such a great employee

I am constantly being pulled from pillar to post from a2 dominion to pyramid plus. I get put on hold and then cut off when I try to call a2 back and then they close my job so I have to start the process again. I have a 4 year-old child and have struggled with having sufficient hot water and heating since January and it’s still not fully sorted! Besides this the state of the oven was left in an awful state with hair and grime and they do not provide freezers. They wouldn’t pay for an oven cleaner upfront & it’s below standard!

Rented a property of A2Dominion via a letting agency for over 5 years and never ever had any issues. Unfortunately they decided to sell the house we were living in, which we were absolutely gutted about, and you may find strange the fact I’m leaving a 5* review, but I can not compliment how supportive they were through the whole process. I genuinely could not have asked for anything more, Simone in particular (who we dealt with) was absolutely superb. Thank you again

If you ever think of renting or buying a property from A2Dominion go and get a mental health check up because you need.

I had a surveyor come to the flat in May2024.

The survey I took down to Citizen Advice Bureau and they said sections of it were not filled in .

I am now start to experience migraines, tiredness, memory problems and loss of appetite.

I phoned them up this week and was told I must put with the state of flat and pay a service charge of £28 a week.

I will leaving this slum flat in August and good luck to the idiot who moves into after I have left.

Sadly, my experience with A2D seems to be in line with that of everyone else. We bought our flat through Fabrica (at least it was completed) in 2018, and then got handed to A2D for management. Repairs are usually a slow-moving disaster. Service charges are incorrectly assessed and impossible to untangle because there seems to be no real accounting system in the company. A2D staff often start out energetic and willing to help, but within a few months are beaten into surrender and just turn their emails to autoreply saying they are on annual leave. The company is a shambles, and the fact that it is a registered non-profit is a total sham.

I am A2Dominion tenant and living with these unbearable condition over two years and these housing association charging us over £50 a month for cleaning and other tidy up areas.

I have complaint to them many times about the keeping our blocks clean but they are not interested for sending someone to do the job only collecting the rent charges.

I have took many photos of our blocks and condition we are living in but they're not doing anything about it.

This is a one of the worst housing association in England and Avoid Avoid Avoid.

Don’t take any notice of a2dominion’s nonsense about helping people with mental health issues. I have severe depression & anxiety with a history of self harm and attempted suicide, and have been given notice to quit on the 9th April after the sudden death of my mother, who was my primary carer. No other help offered- just out on the streets. Any claims that this company makes are just empty PR nonsense.

Thank you for making me destitute.

They build poor quality houses and don’t come and fix their snags/defects and con you. We have been here for only a month.
They have left us with lots of problems which they won’t fix after spending a lot of money with them. We are devastated by it all. Been left with chunks out of the floor, cracked sinks, black marks over wall, scratches and scuffed kitchen, handprints from builder, defected tiles, grout missing and the list goes on.
The quality of the house is shocking and just disgusting and then send in their team who end up causing more problems.
