I had a very fast reply that was personal, helpful and reassuring that this is a company that really cares about the authors they work with

I had a disappointing experience with this company. They advertise a mailing list of around 1.5 million subscribers across different subgenres, with promo prices ranging from about $50 for one ad to $100, $200, or even $300. Based on my experience, I did not see good value for the money.

I ran two promo days with them and got no clicks, no sales, and not even any downloads, even though one of my books was enrolled in Kindle Unlimited. My other book was then delisted because of price variations across platforms, which felt overly strict and inconsistent with the rules on their website.

According to their site, books priced between $0.99 and $4.99 should be acceptable, and a book is only supposed to be delisted if it is set to free at $0.00. That was not my experience. Either the rules are not clearly explained, or they are enforced much more strictly than advertised.

Because of this, I cannot recommend this company for book promotion. In my case, the money was wasted and I got zero results. By contrast, I have used other similar promotion services in the same price range, and sometimes even cheaper, and those produced 1,000 to 2,000 downloads per day along with a few hundred sales.

I do not know why I got absolutely no results with writtenwordmedia.com, but based on my experience, I will not be using them again and I would not recommend them.

I've come to trust Written Word Media to produce the results that I need when I run a stacked campaign. They have a great handle on what ads to run during a 5 day or 7 day promotion to enable a successful advertising campaign. They haven't failed me yet.

I requested a change in genre for a book promotion and it was solved with no issues. Excellent!

The Written Word Media team are always incredibly helpful and responsive. Highly recommended.

These people are infinitely helpful, and answer my queries promptly when I contact them. Written Word is reasonably priced and has a good reader base for authors looking to promo releases or sales or backlist.
They sail a good ship!

I received this letter promising a refund....and have received NOTHING! Crooks of epic proportion!

Regarding your actual campaign with us, I looked up the results of your campaign and here's what I found.

We sent your book out in two newsletters. Your book got 15 clicks from NewInBooks and 17 clicks from Bargain Booksy. These results are well below average for what we typically see in your genre, and definitely warrant the refund.

Your author interview was published on November 13th on NewInBooks and can be see here, we also published it on the Business and Finance section of NewInBooks here. Additionally, your book is running on a Facebook Ad campaign. This campaign has 3,920 impressions and 25 clicks so far and this campaign is slightly below average for business books. This campaign still running and scheduled to end on 11/15.

A Deeply Disappointing Experience with Written Word Media

My experience with Written Word Media has been nothing short of a disaster. This disengaged company relies heavily on AI instead of truly understanding and promoting their clients' books. The AI-produced quick images and sentences that I was expected to share on Facebook were lackluster, and their productivity was virtually zero.

Their lack of customer focus was evident, as my book, which is about business and money, received inadequate promotion. Despite opting for the "promotion extra everything" package, there was nothing "extra" about it other than the price. I fail to comprehend how they have the audacity to continue providing such poor service.

More authors need to start writing honest reviews. My book, titled "The Ultimate Trading Guide: Success in Trading," is an excellent read, which you can see for yourself at Amazon. However, this incompetent company clearly does not know how to promote a business-related book. While I cannot speak for other categories, I will absolutely never use this company again, and I strongly advise others to avoid doing so as well
