I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a new car and I must say, the service provided by the dealership was absolutely top-notch. In particular, I have to give a special shout-out to my salesman Richard Rhodes. He went above and beyond to make sure my experience was not only smooth, but also enjoyable.

From the moment I walked onto the lot, Richard greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel right at home. He listened carefully to my needs and preferences and worked diligently to find the perfect car for me. He was patient and never made me feel rushed or pressured.

Throughout the entire process, Richard was incredibly knowledgeable about the various models and features, and he took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. I really appreciated how transparent he was about pricing and financing options, which made me feel confident in my decision.

But what really stood out to me was how genuinely kind and caring Richard was. He took the time to get to know me and made me feel like more than just a customer. He even followed up with me after the sale to make sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase.

Overall, my experience buying a car at this dealership was fantastic, and that was largely due to the exceptional service provided by Richard. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new car, and I would especially encourage you to seek out Richard for your sales needs. He truly is a gem and made the whole process incredibly enjoyable.

I had my recall back in May last year (2022) and everything was fine until I ran out of Screen Wash and when I tried to open my bonnet, it wouldn't open. and when I went back to BMW Wollaston they said I quote 'It's hard to believe you didn't open the bonnet since last year'. I dropped off my car to them to fix it but they said they will repair it only if I pay, and since I needed it fixed I agreed. Today when I got the text from them that the car was repaired I booked a taxi straight away but in my zone there was an incident and some of the main roads were closed by the police. I rang them as soon as I noticed that I will run a bit late because of that and I kindly asked to wait for me to pick up my car since I needed it for work and they said they will wait at some point, but they left when I was literally 5 minutes away. I lost £30 on taxis from my home to BMW and back home since they were not able to wait 5 minutes extra and with the risk of losing my job. Worst customer service and worst BMW maintenance service I ever had. It is not fair that I had to get through this bad experience of losing both a day of work and money because of their mistake.

Every single time i walk in, i get ignored and employees just stare at me & judge based on appearance.

Service department & manager is reckless.
Service advisors tell you what you want to hear but lack communication skills. Ignorant, blunt & have fake smiles.

SITUATION:

I bought a white 4 series m sport a few months ago approved used with only just over 10k milage. Immaculate condition in and out. They gave the usual sales pitch including their high rated reviews online etc, (iv noticed recently, negative reviews either get taken off or deleted) im skeptical about all these good reviews.

Few months on, had issues with headlight which caused condensation. Showed photos and even though there were droplets inside staining the casing, which bmw website guidline explains as faulty and needs replacing, this dealership denied any issues and sent me on my way. Never replaced.

Anyways, few months on, had my driver side wing mirror replaced by same wollaston dealership as i trust them all the time so i go back to them and then started electric mirror problems which i NEVER EVER had before until Bmw wollaston touched my mirrors. Had to go back and forth london to northampton over 5 times because they keep messing things up.

Feb 2023 took my car in again for same electric mirror issue. The young female service advisor is useless and cannot listen to simple instructions. I explained additional knocking noises from front wheels, i told her this 3 times, yet on the final report they examined rear wheels instead of the front, Absolute waste of time.

On pick up day, this same young lady service advisor handed me the keys and paperwork and said, “cars round the back bye”. I found this odd, As usually my car is bought to the front with a thorough handover.

I went round the back and on collection found my mint condition white 4 series damaged which had been scuffed and deep scratched on the rear bumper. I suspect she knew… i immediately took photos. (For anyone with any visits, i would advise always take photos on drop off and pick up even if it looks silly. Its to cover your own back legally. Otherwise you have no proof.

I stormed in and complained. Out came service manager and useless same service advisor girl again with fake smiles. They tried to say it could have happend anywhere. I shut them up with photos taken before, on the day and after….point proven!!!

I had hundreds of photos before and after. Proved this to them and they accepted liability there and then. if i had no photos they would have told me to do one.

They came to london and took the car 2 weeks later to repair. on Collection i realised they messed up the repair as my rear bumper looks greeny yellow with a colour mismatch where the spray painted the section. My car is white and the bumper looks cloudy yellow white now. and has forever ruined the paintwork as it will never be the same again. Also, When the car was ready. I got an email from service manager saying they did not want to wash the car. I found this suspicious even though I requested it be washed and vacuumed as usual complimentary on the service options. I understand now they didnt want to wash it because the cloudy yellow white would have obviously stood out on a nicely washed car rather than a dirty car which i would not see. Very deceitful tactics. (When I questioned this, he hesitated and said its because I would accuse them of more damage) pathetic excuse. If there’s no other damage, why would I accuse you of things that don’t exist. Doesn’t make sense.

I had enough & formally notified them in writing of immediate legal action having given them multiple chances at everything with repair. ever since I bought my car, always included my legal rep into emails or accompanied me on visits for reference and proof. I recorded all calls and emails. took many photos on all occasions. I also contacted the 'motor ombudsman' who are great. (just google it) most dealerships are accredited under motor ombudsmen's scheme so will have to abide by rules. but you must have proof of everything.

2 other bmw dealerships in london confirmed the badly done repair and gave me a quote. managing director of BMW Northampton finally responded trying to settle it out of court as I had formally notified them of legal proceedings. I had all the proof and evidence and with all my advice i knew id win in court as did they know id win too. he offered to pay for the repair and paid me a small sum. but I never received any compensation or reimbursement for my visits on multiple occasions or hotel stays.

I have been 100% accurate and honest in my review and will not be taking it off, please do not contact me.

They will do anything they can to get my review removed but it is 100% legal, transparent and honest and i will do everything in my power to make sure other people see this and make their own mind up.

Exceptional experience from Andre and the team at Wollaston BMW from ordering my perfect car (M240i) to collection! Andre made sure I had everything I needed to make an informed decision pre purchase and kept me updated throughout the whole order process and always available to answer any of my questions! Top quality service
My BMW x5 which is 13 years old & my pride & joy was hit in a car park & Mark & his team did a perfect repair job.
The wing was replaced and paint work was sorted so it looked like new, the inside of the headlights was polished & the number plate was straightened free of charge along with touch ups all around the car that I didn’t ask for.
Couldn’t be happier with the service and would definitely recommend

AND the car was personally delivered back to me at home by the BMW Bodyshop Manager AS GOOD AS NEW with a smile.

Having collected my gorgeous new car today I couldnt be happier. Dealt with Roger originally for a possible second hand option who was really helpful I ended up going down the band new route.
