I donated to to winred but when I looked at my credit statement they took an additional unauthorized $100. I have contacted the customer service and have not received any response. Beware!
I would be happy to edit this review if my problem was resolved.

First and foremost, dont believe what they say. They will take your money and give you the biggest run a round in history. After this, I wouldn't give them the time of day.

I cannot get an answer to my complaint! On April 30, 2026 I donated $10 to WinRed. That was all I can afford because cancer has taken so much money from my account! But when my bank notified me of the charge, they notified me that WinRed had taken $100!
I have asked WinRed to reimburse me the $100, but they apparently don't answer requests for reimbursement of faulty transactions! I don't have money for this transaction and I NEED refunded right now!
Things like this make me hesitant to make contributions! And taking more money than allowed makes me not want to give at all! PLEASE REIMBURSE ME FOR THE $100 ILLEGITIMATELY TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT!

WinRed is essentially a political spam machine. I receive an extreme volume of unsolicited texts daily from constantly changing numbers, making blocking useless. Replying “STOP” doesn’t work, and complaints have no effect.

I never signed up for these texts nor did I ever have prior contact with Winred or any other political campaign.

There is no meaningful way to unsubscribe. The system appears designed to bypass opt-outs and avoid accountability, leaving recipients stuck with nonstop unwanted messages.

This goes beyond aggressive outreach—it is harassment. Avoid entirely unless you want your phone flooded with texts you can’t stop.

I have been a member of the Republican party for over 40 plus years. Your polls and questions ( which I have no problem filling out/ARE ALWAYS WANTING A DONATION.I FIND THIS WITH OTHER QUESTIONS THAT ARE SENT MULTIPLE TIMES THOUGH OUT THE DAY I HAVE REACHED OUT TO EVERYONE ABOUT THIS MAYBE THIS WILL GET YOUR ATTENTION AS WELL AS THE PARTIES

Deceptive messages that will cost you money! Google and other platforms report fraudulent and predatory type transactions of which Scot Bessent and the Gov’t has been informed of. WINRED/NRSC has had to repay 122 million in fraudulent charges back! So be careful it seems the Republicans are starting to behave the same as the Democrats!

I am tired of receiving 5 or more text a day from winred and their automated system. I have repeatedly logged in and logged out and followed the instructions over and over, but I continue to receive texts like these:
"We'll stop texting once you sign. Do you support Pres. Trump enacting Voter ID in all 50 states? If yes, sign in the next 20 mins: stop=end"
or
"As of 7:22 PM, we **still** have not received your April endorsement of President Donald J. Trump.
Correct the record NOW:
stop=end"
or
"I'm coming to you in total humility.
I can't do this on my own. I'm humbly asking you to donate $1 or more to support my fight:
stop=end"
or
"We have received word that you're a Democrat. Is that true? Your profile is currently UNCONFIRMED. 1 more step to fix the record: stop=end"
or
"You must be important - Former CIA Director & Sec. of State Mike Pompeo instructed us to deliver a personalized devotional to you: stop=end"
or
"Speaker Mike Johnson: The situation in Virginia needs your attention today, patriot.
I'm asking you to read this:

and hundreds more. I will no longer contribute to Republican campaigns. They put my number into their autodial system and they got my phone number from mydonations last election.

There’s too many texts and 99 % are asking for money

STOP TEXTING AND EMAILING ME!!!!
I get multiple texts per day that are associated with WinRed. They come from Donald Trump, Don Jr, Vance, etc. I have replied STOP to 40+ different numbers all texting me WinRed links with ridiculous inflammatory messages.

WinRed says those texts come from the individual campaigns. Fine. But you control the donation sites and have all the authority to hold them accountable for exploitation and harassment.

TOTAL GARBAGE ORGANIZATION!!! Back in 2016, I made ONE donation to WinRed, for TRUMP... sometime after 2020, I started receiving MASSIVE amounts of robo-text messages (usually a half dozen a day), from a bazillion OTHER POLITICIANS asking for donations... they ALL route to WinRed for processing, but contacting WinRed (who a) shared my phone number without my consent b) allows these spammers to continue spamming millions daily, they claim there is "nothing that can be done". Which is pure BS - they *could* take the info of WHO is doing the spamming & STOP DOING BIZ WITH THEM. THEY (WinRed AND all their affiliate spammers hiding behind them) OUGHT TO BE PROSECUTED & FINED, MASSIVELY - with proceeds going to everyone on their text/call records, who a) is registered in the national DO NOT CALL/TEXT REGISTRY b) or has replied "stop" to them - seems they just open a new phone number, and resume the spamming.

As you can plainly see in Reddit forums as well as Law_DOT_com (cannot paste links here), IAM NOT ALONE! This is endemic & NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.

50 text messages per day, many for Pacs and not the candidate they tout. I am refusing to give any money ever again to any candidate using the WinRed platform for scam text messaging, Republican Patriot.

I get bombarded with texts from this group. I emailed them to take me off of their lists, they emailed me back and said they could not do that because they couldn’t verify if it were me or not. What a bunch of rubbish, I get at least 20 texts a day. I wish I had never heard of WinRed. Not only that, if you donate, in the small print they say not affiliated with with the specific person they are saying is asking for the donation. Not trustworthy, if nothing else but for that.

I’ve never been so abused by a company for donating my hard earned money.Its almost like WinRed is trying to harvest the negative energy I feel being spammed several times daily. Candidates begging for money or a 10x match money scam. I’m feeling that Don Jr and DJT actually have nothing to do with it. Maybe Kushner is sending the money to Israel , but it isn’t going where it’s supposed to go.I don’t think my worst enemy could abuse me any more “textually”. I truly believe my donating to WinRed has been one of the worst mistakes I have ever made.

This is this is the second time, I have donated to a candidate and WINRED has hit my credit card a second time in less than 7 days for another donation! Both times, I indicated on the donation form that this was "one time donation"! From now on I will send a check made out to the candidate's election fund. I will no longer use WinRed for anything!

This company hides behind the guise of “if the link sent to you isn’t from us we can’t do anything about it” but winred allows companies to scam people

They badger me with 50 text messages and day. I'm constantly blocking them but they must have millions of numbers! I donated $500 and asked that they cut back on the spam but that only increased the spam. So I recommend you don't give them money I certainly won't!

In the 2024 election I signed up with WinRed providing my business phone number not knowing what they’d do with it. :-(

Ever since, I’ve been harassed with unwanted texts every day with politician URL’s along with a few obnoxious messages. I since removed my WinRed membership hoping it would stop the harassment but it didn’t change a thing!

This means my mobile notary business is affected each day with my being summoned all day with politician contacts! Whenever I’m summoned to my iPhone I use the “stop” feature that comes with the text. I learned the stop feature doesn’t stop future contacts since they just get another number to text me again.

I learned if I respond in the text message they actually see the message even though it’s not a valid call number only texting. These idiots will continue harassment with insidious attitudes with intent to harass me the rest of my phone number’s ownership.

In summary, WinRed created a fake contact venture of daily abuse. I’m no longer a member but my phone number is used by these politicians all day long and they don’t care at all about this problem. The attitudes toward my responses to these harassers is as if they own me.

WinRed Founders are Donald Trump, his son in law Jared Kushner with Garett Lansing in charge according to AI.

I can't believe this is actually a conservative organization legitimately. They are going to make conservatives lose so many votes. I have never donated, never given any information out, the texts address me as a different name, I text Stop or End, I mark as spam and block, and I am just texted from a new number. Over 25 per day. Makes me and everyone that gets these in a bad mood. Causes distractions. So terrible. How can we make this stop? I've gone to the site and tried to email them and fill out anything to ask for them to stop communicating with me, to not share or sell my information, etc and it continues incessantly. Our country and its make belive politics are a mess!

I am a GOP contributor but will no longer donate to any candidate who uses the WinRed platform. WinRed says they do not share my info but I get HUNDREDS of unsolicited text massages from candidates using their platform. I am not sure why they get away with it. 🙄

I receive dozens of unwanted texts and emails weekly, sometimes as many as 30 in one day all linked to Secure.winred. Obviously, even if I wanted to financially support every Republican nationwide I could not do so. I often get followup texts
that are basically offensive saying I must be a Democrat now and one well known Republican Senator supposedly sent me a followup text saying, and I quote “I’m so disappointed I could piss in my pants” Disgusting! If this harrassment continues voters will jump ship, and one of them may be me.
