Wild Alaska Salmon & Seafood Arvostelua 

The first order I got was delayed in shipping and got to me 3-4 days later than expected. While the fish was still frozen the refrigerant had totally melted and it was dropped on my 75 degree sunny porch. The company said that they would give a 3 day heads up before the next shipment. Even though they knew they had a problem with my server , and I never got the notice, a second order was shipped that I did not want. They do not have a phone and it took them 5 days to respond to multiple emails. I had to throw the fish out as I was not ready for it and had NO place to store it. Be careful of a company that cannot be more responsive or stand up for their customers.

We have been getting fish delivered for about 6 months now and we have been VERY happy with the fish and the company. I’m not sure who those other reviewers are talking about in regards to getting spammed or no response to emails. I have never had either of those problems. The one time we did need to contact WA, they responded immediately and made the changes we asked for. Oh and not only is it great fish but they ship it in very eco friendly packaging. Between the cardboard, the dissolvable insulation and the dry ice, there is very little trash. Both thumbs up!

I worked on boats based in Kodiak in the 1970's. I made one order for $126 and won't make another. Too bad they don't fish/respond as well as they put on the show, the internet show.

Received my first box today and I’m very disappointed!!!!!! I received less than half of my order. Tried to call but no number available at this time so I sent an email and the response I received was “give us 72 hrs to respond back to you.” I pay I expect to get what I pay for and this is why I avoid making orders when I can’t see and physically touch my purchase. Made my first experience a bad one!!!!

I am SO SICK of these jerks and their spamming tactics. EVERY SINGLE ONE of my email addresses that I have ever used in public gets their UNSOLICITED SPAM EMAILS. Yes, I have about 15 email addresses that I regularly use for things, and these butt surfers SPAM every single one of them nonstop, DAILY!

I wish someone would put them out of business.

I cannot be more impressed with Tony and his staff at Wild Alaska Salmon and Seafood. Received a box of the most fabulous salmon I have ever tasted. There truly is a difference between his product and what I've been able to get in the Midwest. Knowing where my fish comes from, and the stringent parameters Alaska has in place, are definitely shared passions with Captain Tony and his crew :) One would be doing themselves a tremendous disservice not to try it for themselves! I just got my first shipment of a variety of fish as well as scallops. I was a bit leary at first because it is not inexpensive but I am very pleased with the product and have already bragged about it to family. You get what you pay for. I'm looking forward to trying recipes from the website and to my next shipment. I'm very happy to support a company like Wild Alaska because of their concern for the environment. I feel confident that I am getting what they are advertising.

They are middle man , they sell garbage NOT from Alaska or PNW as advertised! avoid under any circumstance since you have no clue where fish comes from.

This company uses spam to market their web site. Do not patronize them.

I am completely turned off by your company and your marketing tactics and will at this point actively warn people from buying from you. I had never heard of your company before my email got flooded with your unsolicited offers for weeks now. Each time they come from another marketing spammer email to successfully evade previously set up filters. If you unsubscribe your email, you are just confirming your contact to a shady marketing company's list as an active email to be sold to others and invite even more spam.This is beyond annoying. If your company 'Wild Alaska Salmon & Seafood' figures it can get enough incremental additional business to not care about the vast majority of people you are spamming with your emails, it very much shows your business ethics and lack of a product being successful due to its quality rather than excessive and truly desperate marketing efforts. No trust worthy company needs to use tactics like this. Would you stop already?

We just bbqd salmon from our first order. Very tasty... Excellent flavor.

I'm making this post before even receiving my first order. Because I can't believe the kind of folks who leave such negative posts that have nothing to do with the review of a product on a company site. From what I have experienced thus far, I'm excited to be supporting the farmers directly at the source!!! My only next question is, can you take this novice Fisher"woman" out to fish!! Ha' Just kidding, I'll keep trying to perfect my hand at walleye fishing! Looking forward to my first shipment.

I love my salmon! I can definitely taste the difference, it is so fresh and tasty. I never experienced any pin bones in my batches, and my salmon was not dyed a darker pink or overly fatty...so I know that it is truly wild caught. I also love their Cod fish and Halibut. The price point is on par with my local fish market. I highly recommend this company.

I was disappointed. I love Salmon and I know what wild Alaskan taste like. Marbled and rich. This had a great color, but very bland like Atlantic farm raised. I took extra care to cook it perfectly. Very disappointing!

Once again, I'm writing this review Just from what i've read.How can so many people have to bring out tweezers just to enjoy dinner. I heard your reason. I think its an excuse, especially at that price point. Without other reasons why customers are not happy, I say costco is a fine idea.

My review mirrors Tim's sentiments. I just dug into my 10lbs order and it tasted bland and unimpressive. Frankly it tastes like "Atlantic" farm raised salmon and I make no apologies for my review since I'm now left with 9lbs of bland salmon and I've been eating Alaskan Salmon weekly for 15+ years.

I'd like to give these guys the benefit of the doubt and assume they just aren't freezing the fish properly but who the heck really knows?

I ordered the 10 lbs of Alaska Wild Sockeye salmon. The dry ice had evaporated when I opened the foam box. The fillets were individually packed and seemed sufficiently frozen still (so, it held up during the transit even though the inside of the box didn't feel particularly cold).

There were bones in the fillet, and as some have mentioned, the balance between body vs tail portions may concern some. The price point for Wild Alaska Salmon's sockeye came out to be $16.50 per pound. I regretted making this purchase soon after as my local Costo had an offer for Copper River Salmon (Sockeye) that were going at various price points, from $14.99 to $11.99. In addition, the Costco Copper River salmon was more crimson in color (Copper River salmon is much better known to have richer Omegas). Net, one may want to check out your local Costco warehouse.
