This is a rip-off
This is a rip-off. The only reason they got one star is there is nothing below that. I bought an item and after 12 days during which I couldn't track my item, I received an e-mail telling me this item is no longer available (after 12 days), but at the same time I was offered the same item for exactly double the price, and am not even sure if I'll get my money back.

We are very sorry to fall below your expectations. This was surely not intended.
You have already been explained the fact that the item that you placed an order for was out of stock from the supplier, we then sourced the same item from another supplier and provided you a choice to accept or decline. The prices are set by the suppliers who upload their inventory, we always show the cheapest supplier first. Orders are processed once items are checked for availability - You are not charged until your order is confirmed. Once the order is cancelled the authorised amount is cancelled. Your bank then releases your funds back to your account.
All this information was relayed to you, which is also clearly displayed in our FAQs page and is also a part of our terms and conditions.
We at Whizz strive to be transparent in all cases, the same information was provided to you. It is unfotunate that we were unable to convince you, but we have thousands of extremely happy customers we serve, sometimes on rare occasions they also face the same kind of scenario, but understand that items can be out of stock and orders can be cancelled.
We ask you to be better informed in the future by checking the sites FAQs and Ts &Cs to avoid being disappointed. Especially in trying times like the global issue we are all facing, we should understand and accept such matters.

I will not be spending my hard-earned…
I will not be spending my hard-earned dirhams or wasting my valuable time on whizz.ae again!
I had a similar experience to the one posted below – which I gather is left by some diligent consumer who is trying to safeguard our interests. I am sad I did not see it earlier but will be sure to forward this thread to relevant channels so this does not happen to others.
I placed my first order with whizz.ae for a new item on 25th March 2020 and on 27th March 2020 I get an email stating the item is ‘used – in very good condition’ and if they should proceed with the order at full invoice price?
I informed the whizz.ae team that I will not pay full price for used item and insisted on a new one or failing that a discount on used item with disclaimer that it should be in working order, since they very conveniently included a clause towards the end of the email; “Used items are non-returnable/refundable” which means that if the item does not work, they bare no responsibility once delivered.
Instead of offering an alternative course of action they simply cancelled my order with a ‘sorry for the frustration caused’ and a complete copy paste of the ridiculous reason included in their reply to below post “The prices are set by the suppliers…”.
I can accept that mistakes happen but what I find UNACCEPTABLE, is that in the same email they mentioned “the items condition is clearly displayed as USED on the item page that you placed the order please follow below link to the item” essentially calling me a liar!!! A day after I placed my order, they changed the status to ‘used’ and increased the price from AED 2,700 to AED 3,027 (I have the screenshots) I stumbled on the updated listing as I restored my browsers.
It was clearly mentioned on the page that the item was NEW when I placed the order (I didn’t even know they sell used items until I saw the updated listing and was quite happy that I was lucky to get a new piece), and if the item was used and I placed an order why would they send me an email to double check and change price? They will probably respond to this post with some ridiculous story that we always do a check on used items…
Mind you by this time I lost the opportunity to buy the same item via eBay since I prefer supporting local vendors and stores (I consider giving back to the community as a prime responsibility).
In this great country we have consumer rights, in this case; ‘The right of the consumer to know the correct information about the goods and services’. Know your rights!

Terrible ordeal
Terrible ordeal. I ordered and paid on their website with my credit card. I get an email the next day saying that the same product now has a price of double what I paid. So I can either pay double or cancel the order. This is after the transaction is complete and they have taken the money from my card and it would take 7 days to return the money.
After complaining, all I got was sorry for the inconvenience, we got the price wrong. I asked to speak to the supervisor but was not even given this chance.
So if you dont mind paying and then waiting for them to confirm if they actually have the product and at the same price you paid, then by all means go ahead and buy from them.
If this is not the case, and a genuine mistake was made then they should take responsibility for it and fix it, instead of just sending an email saying we apologise for the inconvenience..
Thanks for your reply, As I said, for me it is completely unacceptable for you to go ahead take payment then start to check prices and suppliers for stock. If that's how you work it, I would not be buying from you again. Other customers can decide for themselves if suits them.
Eventually receiving money back doesn't mean everything is ok. People dont like to waste time and energy for nothing especially if the things requested are urgent.

ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT.
I have used Whizz several times, it is useful for obtaining items not available in the UAE. I have been quite satisfied until the last order was delayed twice. On the second delay, I requested to cancel the order which was unnecessarily difficult. To their credit, Whizz did eventually cancel after offering 50AED as compensation. I would not let this put me off using Whizz again.
