Excellent! I have just completed my Diploma at WhitePepper and would like to thank the team. For me it's always about people - I feel inspired, confident and supported for my future. Great learning, great people, great fun .... great food!

Good place to study

I have completed my Level 2, my Level 3 and Level 4 with WhitePepper. This has opened SO many doors for me in my life, now I work for an amazing French Patisserie chain as a Patisserie Chef and some day hope to run my own!

Not only was this a tremendous experience which I legitimately enjoyed every minute of, but the tutors and staff that work here make it memorable as well as endlessly fun.

Not only would I recommend the recreational courses to anyone with even a small interest in cooking, but I would hold this as one of the best places to go if you are interested in changing your career to be a chef, or if you are currently a chef that wants to further your career.

I would give WhitePepper Chef Academy a 6 star review if I could! And I give my deepest thanks to Al, Clare, Claire, Luke, Tristan, Max and Kayleigh for working so hard to give me the opportunity to change my life for the better.

Such an entertaining and informative day cooking with Leslie Waters. Wonderful recipes and tuition and led by the energetic Leslie with the help of her indefatigable sister Jack and Steve, a private chef from north Dorset. What a delight to experience the flavour sensations at the Festive Canapés cooked by White Pepper's Level 4 Gold Diploma in Professional Culinary Arts students.

I don't often leave reviews but I had to this time! Went on my first cookery day on Sunday hosted by chef Lesley Waters. I had the best time!
Lesley made everyone feel so welcome and was a fantastic teacher! I came away buzzing from everything I had learnt! Looking forward to trying some of these recipes at home.
Will definitely be booking onto another one very soon!

I had an amazing experience at the French Patisserie course. It was my first experience at White Pepper Academy but it will definitely not be my last! Al was calm and helpful and the demonstration of the recipes were professional and easy to follow. I wholeheartedly recommend this course for anyone who loves baking!

Just completed the Authentic Indian Cookery course. Well presented and managed, professionally run, and easy to follow with lots of encouragement.

This was a great course. I really enjoyed the range of recipes and the food tasted delicious. I would definitely cook the meals again and use the advice given to make some tweaks. Unfortunately, I felt poorly and didn’t stay for the afternoon. However, the staff were helpful and packed ingredients for the remaining recipes so that I could cook at them at home.

I had another super day at White Pepper on Saturday doing the Day Boat Fish course. Learned loads of new techniques from the great chef, great tastings and came away with boxes of things we had made. Highly recommended if you like fish!

Who would have thought that learning cookery skills through a combination of videos and Zoom-based face-to-face session could be so much fun and work so well. Specifically, it is great that you can go back over the videos to check up on points you might not have got first time. The weekly Zoom sessions helped in maintaining momentum and were just fun in conversation with other students, Luke and Mark. Whitepepper have come up with and finessed an approach that works really well.

I chose to do this as a birthday gift and I lucky enough to experience the vegan & raw food course on the day of my birthday! This was literally one of the best birthday experiences! The course was so well organised, Al the chef was incredible, the demos were clear, informative and also fun! The energy of the group was uplifting and I was buzzing from start to finish! All the ingredients were measured out before and we didn't have to wash up a thing! There was a lovely assistant who serenely gathered pots, pans, utensils and ensured we had everything we needed for mixing, blending, chopping etc! The best bit of course was tasting all the food and taking all our creations home! I will definitely be booking onto another course in the New Year.

I was blown away by the quality and calibre of this cooking course. I was part of a group of 4 other people, who were all as charming and communicative as each other. Al, our chef was fantastic, relaxed, attentive, helpful, sociable, polite, professional and praised us a lot. The dishes were simple, straight-forward and more importantly, the tastiest that I have ever eaten. I learned a lot on this course, and I know that the others did too. I didn't want to leave that kitchen and would have happily continued cooking!

Had a great day, thoroughly enjoyed it.My wife and I will be back.

We had such a great time on the Thai cooking course. I have taken the Italian course and my husband took the Basic skills course. We both really enjoyed the Thai course and have already made the tamarind prawns and jasmine rice to enjoy again.
Our fellow students were all so nice. But the big shout out goes to Al, our tutor and Tristan, our able helper.
We will definitely go on another White Pepper course. Highly recommended.

Well planned and structured day. Right balance of hands on plus learning. Good facilities. Would have liked more of an input on sauces to compliment the pasta but really excellent….. Will book another

French patisserie course. A great day learning new skills. Instructor great, facility great. Lots of cakes to take away! Lovely lunch - all homemade with a drink to compliment it. Recommend it to anyone wishing to learn new baking techniques.
We decided to make a 2 day stay out of it but probably better returning home straight after the course as the cakes don’t really last too long in containers.

Interesting venue with different outlets to explore around the farm buildings.

Absolutely brilliant! Attended the Essential Skills day course last week and loved every second, I really felt I left with so much more knowledge than when I entered and heaps more passion for food and cooking! Will absolutely be returning! Lovely staff, very informative, good fun too! Would recommend to anyone looking to expand on a passion for food or learn some new skills!

Excellent chef & assistant with clear tuition though actual time cooking was very limited and would have liked more rather than simply watching the professional
