It can be a memory you share, a milestone you never want to forget, a tribute to someone you love, or an adventure that hasn't happened yet. You tell the story in your own words - Whimbel asks a few gentle questions and shapes it into a warm story, ready to read aloud — then you upload one group photo, or one clear photo per character. There are four ways to begin: a Tribute Book for someone you love, a Memory Book for one perfect moment, a Milestone Book for every little "first," and a Story Book for any story at all, from potty training to a made-up adventure. Whimbel is not a template with a name swapped in: every book is written and illustrated from your life and your people. You always preview first and print only when you love it — you see every page before you commit, and you can redo pages until it feels right. The finished book is a real picture book, not a photo print: a hardcover in the classic picture-book size, with matte pages made to survive four hundred bedtimes. Books are printed locally through our partner network and ship free worldwide. Your photos stay private, are used only to create your book, and are never used to train AI models.
