Can't fault the tour. What a brilliant month !
I'm still buzzing. The itinerary was well planned, the hotels and location of were exceptional, value for money and lots of thoughtful extras. But it was our guide Maya who made the trip outstanding. 10 out of 10 for Wendy Wu and double it for Maya!!

All the sites visited were incredible
Great Wall, Terracotta army, Pandas, bullet trains, Yangtze River cruise, 3 Gorges and Dam, high mountains and Glass Bridge among many other sites
Booking process v good, the tour guide, Joe was excellent throughout
A couple of negatives as pensioners we probably did too much as the days were long and tiring I walked over 5 miles nearly everyday
As the days were long we generally went for the evening meal directly from the tour giving no chance to change for dinner and 2 Chinese meals a day was too much for me

A truly wonderful Tour
The itinerary schedule was a little too hectic with lttle time for any relaxation was at times a little challenging. However China being a huge country thats the only way you could cover the important and historical places given the tour was only over 15 days. Having said that our National escort Betty was superb in her job and always made things easy to navigate and made the whole tour enjoyable and fun.

A fantastic tour which incorporated all the sites I wanted to see in Turkey. The itinerary is full on and there is little free time. Wendy Wu look after you even when you were going home, you have guide that takes you right into the airport and takes you to the check-in desk for your flight home to England. This was very appreciated as Istanbul Airport was enormous. The activity level indicated in the brochure was accurate and all of our group kept up with the guide. It is a packed itinerary, but you get to see the country. A highly recommended company.

Super tour, wonderfully led by Chloe
China is a fascinating country and this was a great 3 week tour of its long history and amazing natural wonders.
Evidence of the rapid change and development that's been taking place over the past 40 years is everywhere.
The tour was excellently managed by our guide Chloe who was delightful, friendly and super efficient. Local guides came and gave us detailed local info of each place we visited.
People were open and friendly. China is a big place so there's a fair bit of travelling but it's worth it. Our group was a mix of people from a few countries (mainly UK though) and everyone was flexible, friendly and on time - we've been in group holidays when that hasn't been the case. Everyone got on really well.
There's so much to see and the scale of everything is immense. Loved it.

We did the Classic China Tour which is excellent and has a great itinerary. It’s very fast paced at the start but there were more relaxing days later in the tour. Our guide Chloe was fantastic. She was well organised and took time to ensure that we had everything we needed. It was the little things that she did like waiting at the best photo spot to make sure we didn’t miss it and then offering to take photos of us. She genuinely cares about her clients and this was evident throughout the trip. Having done quite a few tours with different companies we can say that she’s the best guide we’ve ever had!

Karen and I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of you for making this such a memorable trip.
We’ve had a brilliant time experiencing the wonders of this amazing country. We arrived with a few preconceived ideas about what to expect, but many of those were soon put right as we discovered the real China — its incredible culture, history, food, and, most importantly, its people.
George has been an absolutely outstanding tour guide and teacher, helping us navigate our way through this vast and fascinating country. His knowledge, enthusiasm and patience have been fantastic, and he somehow managed to keep everything running seamlessly, even when things occasionally became a little hectic!
He always kept his cool and was never fazed by anything that was thrown at him. His passion for sharing his knowledge and making sure everyone was looked after really made a difference to our experience.
It was particularly sad that George had to leave us before the end of the tour because of the unfortunate accident involving his mother. We’re sure everyone will join us in wishing her a speedy recovery and sending our very best wishes to George and his family.
We also had a few casualties along the way with some of the group falling ill, which unfortunately put a little bit of a dampener on the final part of the trip. Hopefully everyone is now feeling much better and will soon be back to full health.
Despite those few bumps along the way, we’ll look back on this trip with some fantastic memories, plenty of stories to tell, and a much greater appreciation of this incredible country.

We were absolutely delighted with the tour and especially the tour guide Gary. He turned a memorable trip into a wonderful delight. The add-on tours were an excellent complement to the itinerary.

Our Magnificent China tour with George…
Our Magnificent China tour with George Pu was simply outstanding. Not only did we see, taste, feel and experience some of the amazing things that China has to offer, but under George’s expert care, we feel that we came to a far greater understanding of what it means to be Chinese. He was a master organiser, leader, storyteller and carer of people, and his personal input certainly heightened our understanding hugely.
Every place we visited was astonishing in some way , every landscape and glimpse into the past of China illuminating, every cultural show a pleasure and every day brought new highlights.
George looked after us so well, and became more like a friend than a tour guide, so that we totally understood and supported him when he had to leave us unexpectedly and sadly a few days early . We will never forget our China tour and that is largely because of George, and the strong camaraderie he fostered in our group, all of whom became good friends.
The standard of hotels, restaurants and excursions was faultless. The local guides were great. The optional events were all worthwhile and enjoyable. Thank you, Wendy Wu, for giving us such an excellent tour guide, George, and a wonderful tour of beautiful China.

Our guide George Pu made our holiday end of!
He showed us China we have completely changed our beliefs in what it's like here, the Chinese people are such a lovely race, and I would beg people stop listening to politics and media and come visit to see for yourself!
Yes there are human and animal rights issues but show me a country that doesn't, the UK alone has horrific animal testing centres!
However, back to Wendy Wu Tours everything went superbly and on time, somehow they've managed to match 27 people who are like minded we all got on really well, I was a bit worried at first it was such a large group but other operators were 33+ and the guides on these other operators didn't escort their guests on trains and planes.
Each hotel they booked was first class and all our trips ran smoothly!
My only gripe would be we didn't get much down time, however there is so much to and see, 21 days just isn't enough so I guess we will just have to visit again!
On another note one of our party fell ill resulting in surgery, the support from Wendy and George was superb can't fault them one bit. That man has the patience of a saint!
We did the magnificent China which was a supposedly a slower pace and for us at 64 and 66 was doable but an older couple struggled a bit at the end.
We are heading back home now but planning another visit

I think we got tired toward end and flight back in one long day was utterly exhausting. Need a few days to recover!

From start to finish amazing experience. Flights with Air china amazing just one flight out of 4 had 20min delay which I accept compared to 4 hrs with last trip. Hotels all amazing set in fabulous locations with great views.. guides are a credit to wendy wu... Lily, Sunny ,Viola ,Victor your absolutely amazing gave me the best experience in each location. All outstanding guides. So grateful to lily taking me to pharmacy to get some medication when I fell ill with a cold. Such lovely warm people looked after us really well. Hope to see them again in the future.

Two great weeks in China with Wendy Wu
The holiday was well organised with all transfers and accommodation carefully planned. We had a full immersive experience of different areas and cultures of China with excellent guides who were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The accommodation was modern and comfortable and the food interesting and tasty!
There is however a lot of walking and standing and you require stamina to cope with the pace.
