Weber Arvostelua 4

Weber Q3200 bought 11 months ago has developed a paint defect. Strange white marks appeared on the black lid when I uncovered to check over ready for this season. Thought it was dust or insect “droppings” at first but after cleaning with Weber’s enamel cleaner they wouldn’t shift. Contacted Weber under their warranty and they are currently trying to fob me off with spurious reasons.
First they said there had been too much grease build up causing the lid to get too hot and damage the paint😂 No grease on it and bbqs get hot!
Second reason coastal erosion because we are 6 miles from the coast😂😂 This has caused it to rust😂😂 We do not get salt water blown here and the lid is aluminium.
I think they may have a wider issue here and they are obviously trying everything to frustrate me so I go away.
Thought Weber had a good reputation but obviously wrong and wonder if they have financial difficulties? Claim through the courts via i-claims likely here unless they start taking this issue seriously!
Avoid this company I suggest as they don’t stand by their products.

Unbelievably poor customer service from Weber BBQs. The lid of my 3 year Q3200 Weber BBQ has completely corroded. Weber are hiding behind their 2 year paint warrantee whereas in fact the underlying metal has corroded (oxidation) which is covered by a 5 year warrantee. Why would you be so petty with such an expensive item?

Acquired fairly new bbq from a friend and first time use cooked some pork chops. The fat from them caused a fire so turned off the gas and when extinguished carried on cooking. Next day when going to clean the bbq found a massive hole in the rear so contacted Weber. Pushed from pillar to post through and no one would take ownership of the problem.

Have had different bbqs over the years and occasionally food has caught fire but NEVER has a bbq melted! Thought Weber was a premium brand but clearly not. Steer well clear

They are an awful company. I recently got burned as a result of poor product description. My experience with their customer support team has been appalling, all they exist for is to sell more product
