I have always had a slight gap of about…
I have always had a slight gap of about 10-15mm gap in places under my double automatic garage door and It took me a while to work out how best to use the new seal, as the garage floor is raised by about 40mm behind to where the door eventually rests, It’s like ‘L’ shape. The seal I chose in the end was the one that you can trim on one side by about 30mm and it worked well when I turned up the cut off piece to butt against the raised floor and stuck the main body to the floor to form an ‘L’ shape and it worked very well. However I still have a slight gap on the right side which Is annoying but when it comes to servicing the electric door, I’ll ask the service guy to try and tweak the settings so the door travels further to the ground to seal the door completely. It’s a great product and my only criticism is the seal which is 440cm long, only came with one tube of glue so I purchased another tube just is case and I’m glad I did because there was no way one tube would have completed the job.

Quality garage door seal
Prompt delivery and a quality item. Clear, comprehensive, instructions. Fitted well and stopped all water entering from under the garage doors.

Delivery person was first rate
Delivery person was first rate. However, the draught excluder was bent, hence only three stars. Had the excluder arrived straight it would have been five stars.

So far so good
So far, the strip seems to be doing its job, although we haven't had much rain since I installed it, so difficult to give a full appraisal. Took a degree of time to install, but that's probably me rather than anything else. Makes good contact with the bottom of the garage door and the adhesive supplied with the kit did a good job of fixing first time. Strip looks good when the door is open.

Garage roller door
Been having water ingress problems under the garage door for a while, went online to investigate solutions. Weather Defender gave me all the answers I was looking for, there product was well described & illustrated. Ordering was easy & delivery times were spot on.
