I was one of the unlucky ones who suffered burns under my arms from a faulty batch of Mitchum. They were cracked and bleeding and I couldn’t use any deodorant for weeks. I was actually scared to start using any again but absolutely love this it’s gentle but does the trick!

I used Mitchum for years as i could never find another anti-perspirant that worked as well but hated the white marks and wanted a more ethical product. I tried others but they were either ineffective (im a regular gym goer and a sweater!) or the application was tricky. I was sceptical that Make Waves would be any different but have been so impressed with the performance of this product and it smells amazing with no white marks. Just working my way through all the flavours to find my favourite. One very happy customer 😊

An excellent antiperspirant without chemicals. Goes on smoothly and works all day. Recommended.

I've so far received my initial subscription with 3 trial scents of the antiperspirant. Followed by 2nd delivery from my subscription which was amended to receive my favourite scent.
The scents are very pleasant and are subject to personal preference. You can easily adjust your subscription items and easily postpone, or skip an order if you have too much before your next delivery is due. I've only used the antiperspirant one which has worked well so far. The only reason I've put a 4☆ rating is because I've experienced some discolouration of clothing. Assume a build-up of the product on material is the cause, despite washing clothing between every use.

I thought I would give this product a try after seeing people advertising it on social media. I would say its a good option. It does leave white marks on clothes that the only downside.

I love this product. The refill lasts a long time. It’s easy to use. Doesn’t leave any residue & smells lovely. My husband uses it as well. Great antiperspirant!

The antiperspirant works well and has a pleasant scent. The case is a comfortable shape and I like the colours.

I can’t recommend Making Waves antiperspirant enough. I have struggled for years to control swearing and I became worried about using the spray deodorants and chemicals. However, other natural deodorants don’t work for me. Making Waves antiperspirant is amazing - it keeps you dry and keeps you smelling fresh all day. Best product on the market.

Really easy to order and I would say best deodorant I have ever used. I work in a very busy pub and lifting your arms up and down you want a deodorant that stops sweat patches and it has. You don't want to smell as well and it stops that as well I'm glad a tried it.

I’ll admit I was sceptical at first. I’ve tried natural deodourants before and not had great results.
Took a punt on Make Waves following some decent reviews I had seen and pleased to say this stuff is awesome! The scents are long lasting, not overpowering and the anti perspirant properties are excellent easily as good if not better than my previous spray ons from a top brands.
The refill replacements post really quickly ans the subscription element allows you to set and forget.
There are other practical elements that only really come to mind since switching, I do a lot of international travel and this can go in my hand luggage. No messing about with whichever small aerosol is available at the chemist, I know I will smell good and be sweat free exactly as I am at home.
Highly recommended.

So I fell for the hype and decided to give this a go. Arrived promptly but was just chucked in an oversized box, rattling around with some scrunched up brown paper. No instructions, no fancy box as in the pictures, nothing. First impressions weren't the best. Opened the scent (raspberry and rhubarb) and it wasn't pleasant. I put it in my skin, hoping the fragrance would be better but it was vile. Gave me an instant headache. Tried immediately to shower it off but I felt like I'd been waterproofed. Water was beading and my skin felt waxy and claggy. While antiperspirant is fine, I want my skin to breathe. My shower puff also feels waxy (as does the rest of me now) and my razor blade is full of residue and also needs replacing. I really wanted this to work for me by alas, it'll be landfill which is surely what we're trying to avoid?

I moved to Make Waves from another refillable deodorant brand (that has a four letter name) as there were a growing number of issues I was experiencing. The other brand did not keep me smelling fresh for long, and I initially didn’t mind reapplying as I liked the sustainable concept. But then I realised, I was getting so many emails from that brand about new cases and collaborations.. which doesn’t keep the sustainable narrative alive. One case forever was not a focus anymore. That was the main reason for swapping (although I still use the lip balm as I haven’t found a better alternative yet!). Make Waves was highly recommended online and I was convinced when I saw that they have only few case colours, truly making them sustainable and not feeding into the fast-fashion side! After the first day I noticed just how much better their deodorant is! The antiperspirant version kept me smelling great and dry for the whole day! It applies lovely, and the rounded edges at the top prevent the product building up around the sides like my old case did. The one minor downside is that I feel a slight build up of the product under my armpits, but this is easily managed by having a bit more of a scrub in the shower, and may be why it works so well as it doesn’t rub off on your tshirt. I’ve already convinced my sister to move to Make Waves and I’m starting a subscription for refills now!
Thanks so much Make Waves, for being a genuine minimal waste and sustainable company. Oh and they make them in the UK too, so less carbon admissions in shipping too.

The products are amazing. The fragrance I use smells SO good and the antiperspirant is very, very effective. My deliveries are always on time so I never run out, and I find it a very reasonably priced product. The deodorants are easy to replace (unlike other brands I’ve used where you end up losing half the deodorant when you try and change it!!)

I love this! All I can smell is the fragrance all day long - no bad odour! No sweat either - and I’ve just been away for a week in the heat. No unsightly sweat marks on my tops. This is the 4th brand I’ve tried, and the only one that I smell lovely all day long, no irritation and no sweat. It’s amazing!!

I bought the antiperspirant for the first time a few weeks ago and I love it. I bought the cranberry one and it smells lovely. The actual product does what it’s supposed to do and works all day long. It leaves no white marks on clothing and it doesn’t mess up the container like my previous refillable deodorant did. I would definitely recommend trying it.

As a sufferer of hyperhidrosis this really does work!! I have tried every deodorant under the sun; sprays, creams, roll ons; I’ve tried layering, using mens, womans, changing my shower gel….you name it ive tried. Make Waves really works, I chose the coconut scent and its just enough! Cannot wait for my next refill <3
