We had an amazing lunch yesterday, it was my husband’s 91st birthday and from the point of arriving to leaving the staff were amazing.
The food was outstanding and couldn’t fault a thing, we had the 7 course tasting menu and paired with wonderful wines.
Looking forward to our next meal at the waterside Inn.
My daughter took me to The Waterside as a birthday treat. I used to take clients but have not been there for many years. Service standards remain excellent as does the quality and presentation of the food.
I wish that we lived closer to The Waterside and that I had deeper pockets!!

Waterside inn have a chief Sir Alain Roux who served me with such excellent. His character is far and beyond. Thank you for such experience your service is with great integrity.
Superb cafe. The best sausage sandwich anywhere. First class menu, good coffee and polite, obliging staff.

Thanks for the lovely dinner. Just had to comment about the manger being rude to one of the waiters.
We are local to The Waterside Inn and really enjoy dining here. We would dine more often if there was a little more variation in the menu changes and it felt less repetitive. The service, however, is excellent and it is definitely our favourite restaurant.
The manager is rude and has really bad attitude. Staff in general are clearly not trained to any standard and the food was terrible.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, far nicer places to eat and drink in Ware.
A superb dining experience - I took my family to the Waterside Inn for lunch today (Sunday), our son's 18th birthday. From the concierge that parked my car to every single member of the staff that we encountered, customer service excellence is redefined here - totally faultless . Food, wine, everything - magnificent. No wonder that this is Michelin 3 Star territory. We cannot wait for our next visit. Thank you The Waterside Inn for making my son's birthday so special and unforgettable
