I love the class and our wonderful…
I love the class and our wonderful teacher, however the changing facilities are absolutely awful for babies. We have only one changing table which is always taken. The rest are benches, and putting my baby on bench is incredibly dangerous, I struggle every single time we go. I wish this can change.

Thank you for your feedback. We are delighted that you are enjoying your classes and think so highly of your teacher.
We do understand how frustrating the limited changing space can be, especially when the changing table is already in use.
We have made the best possible use of the space available, but unfortunately there is not enough room to safely install another changing table.
We do not recommend changing babies on the benches as it is not safe and there is a risk of little ones rolling off. If the changing table is occupied, the safest option is to use a travel changing mat or spare towel and change your little one on the floor.
We do appreciate you raising this concern and will continue to review how we can make the facilities as safe and practical as possible.

No worth it for babies over 12 months
My son attended Marriot hotel Glasgow since he was 4 months old and it was great for the first year however recently they tried to pack as many kids as possible in one class(8) and the sessions always felt rushed with the same exercises over and over again. Also his teacher was almost always absent and someone else covering and that did not help with consistency at all. It might be beneficial if you have a baby up to 12 month old but beyond that I do not recommend water babies especially if your kid is comfortable enough with all the exercises in the water. My son learnt way more spending a few weeks in the sea compared to months of water babies.

Swimvincibles & Water Babies
My 5 year old has been attending Water Babies since he was 9 months. We’ve found it an incredibly bonding experience. This year he has moved to the next stage in his swimming lessons- Swimvincibles. It was a big transition at his age but he is loving it and thanks to Mhairi for all support and encouragement. I continue to attend Water Babies with my 3 year old and she loves her classes with Paul at the Nuffield, Milngavie. It really is the best early to start for a child to gain swimming confidence. Couldn’t recommend it more- thanks to all the Water Babies team!

Water babies are so gentle and patient…
Water babies are so gentle and patient with our babies each week. Giving us the confidence to be in the pool with our babies but also teaching them basic skills which are so important. I’ve loved watching how far my daughters came in the past few weeks at swimming all thanks to her teacher.

A well organised, well taught, fun introduction to water safety for babies and tots
Granddaughter of 2 years has been going to waterbabies classes for most of that time and enjoys it thoroughly, as do I. It’s a wonderful experience to enjoy something so much that is also teaching us both about water safety, and giving us the skills to keep her safe in and around the water. And already giving her the basic skills to be able to swim.
We have experience of a number of different teachers but also appreciate that such changes have been infrequent. Shout outs to Paul and Marie who really engage with the individual tots and move things along so we’re never bored. The organisation and training of the teachers is very high quality. I count myself lucky that we have been able to share this fundamental experience.

We've been with waterbabies since our 2 year old son was 3 months old, it's a fab flexible team, happy to work around my schedules in coming back to work and shift changes ect and make sure my wee guy can keep swimming! He is coming along amazingly, beginning to chain up skills he's learned and kick his legs and move his arms, I think he'll be swimming before we know it! He loves water and the bath thanks to the weekly swimming lessons. Thank you for everything!

The highlight of our week
The highlight of our week. We’ve been doing lessons for 4.5 years with our firstborn and now back for round 2- and still loving it. Teachers are so friendly, small classes, perfectly tailored to what babies can do and how long they’ll manage. Highly recommend

Wonderful !

Jade was very patient and encouraging, and she got the balance right between keeping him involved in the lesson but not pushing him too much. He now loves swimming and spends the entire lesson smiling. I'm so grateful for Jade's patience and friendliness. She is such a wonderful teacher! I also love how she explains the reasoning behind every skill... it makes you appreciate that the Water Babies curriculum focuses on the development of their swimming and safety skills xxx

Staff great, cost expensive …
Kerry and Mhairi were absolutely brilliant! The reason for 4 out of 5 is the cost. I understand it’s a life saving skill, but a lot of mums are on maternity leave that employers don’t give full pay and the opportunity for an underwater photo shoot again, brilliant, but far too expensive.

Water babies was an amazing class
Water babies was an amazing class - my son loved it! The instructors were so calm and patient, there was no pressure and a great atmosphere. I only had to stop going because of returning to work and the class no longer fitting my schedule. Otherwise we would have stayed!

Our experience at water babies is great…
Our experience at water babies is great every week. My little boy started when he was 12 weeks old and from a young age created great habits in the water. He went until he was 1 years old then gave it up for a year due to maternity leave ending. We rejoined this year when he was two and a half and those habits are still there. Our teacher Paul is amazing with all the kids and the quick progression they make in the water is amazing. It is a costly class but I’d say it is worth every penny for the skill and confidence that is built in the water

Water Babies
Water babies is absolutely amazing
Water babies is absolutely amazing. What a difference I’ve saw in baby from day 1. We’ve been going since he was 8 weeks old and he’s now 5 weeks. His instructor Paul is a reassuring and we do everything at Leo’s pace. If Leo isn’t having the best day Paul will do everything to try make him a lot bit happier and enjoy his lesson. I highly recommend. Only down fall is it’s a bit expensive for maternity pay but if my baby ends up being confident in swimming then it is worth it.

We love our classes
We love our classes! We’ve been going to water babies classes since my little boy was 9 weeks old, it’s been incredible to see his confidence and skills grow. Our instructor Claire is so kind and patient with not just the babies, but parents as well.
Swimming classes are my most favourite I do with my baby.

My son Alfie is loving his water babies…
My son Alfie is loving his water babies swim classes. He has bonded with Mairi really well which has helped with his keenness and excitement for the class. It is clear to see that the structured lesson plan is improving Alfie’s confidence and all round ability in the water which is so pleasing to see.

Fun & well structured lessons
I started my baby with his swimming lessons from 4 months old and he's absolutely loving it. He gets really excited to go in the water and it's lovely to see him make progress and improve in confidence.
The lessons are well structured, and I like that you can track progress and expected skills via your account.
