Quick turnaround on my order
Quick turnaround on my order, everything about Wares of Knutsford shows supreme customer service and satisfaction. Again like a previous comment, the delivery van left my parcel outside in the pouring rain, as the package was cardboard boxes so it was lucky that the contents survived at all.

I am still waiting for my order
I am still waiting for my order. The carrier seemingly returned my order to Wares and it still hasn’t been delivered. The staff at Wares were helpful but that doesn’t help my business. It’s now 12 days

Hello, I have looked into the whole story of what happened from start to finish and I can see that there were two contributing factors with your order.
It seems initially a young new starter colleague packed your order in our usual ship time (2-3 working days) and then when it came to shipping the actual boxes he accidentally placed your DPD order in the wrong cage in our warehouse, meaning it went off to the APC courier network (with DPD labels on) and was of course rejected by them back to us. Because the APC orders ship in cages and labels aren’t visible – it wasn’t noticed by our team - or APC - until they eventually returned the boxes to us. We then re-shipped your order again the same day with DPD - who on that day had a delay in their network because of the geography and weather. DPD tend to automatically delay their service nationwide by 24hrs as soon as there is any snow anywhere, even if there is no snow in the area we are shipping to, so this made a 2 day service 3 days up to Aberdeen. Adding even more to the delivery time. This is frustrating, especially when they charge so much more for deliveries up to Scotland. I know we communicated with you by email and you spoke to Amy here in the office but on this instance a mixture of human error and courier network delay created your long wait time. You will see from our other reviews that this is very unusual for Wares. We have refunded your entire shipping cost by way of an apology.

Wares were excellent as usual
The experience with Wares was excellent; unfortunately not with the delivery company leaving the cardboard parcel on steps in the pouring rain without ringing or knocking. The items arrived well before I expected them which was great. All but one jar was perfect. One had a slight chip on top, but with so many jars it's not unexpected sometimes. Always been happy with Wares.

I was happy with the ordering process…
I was happy with the ordering process and quality of the goods received. However the packaging isn’t as secure as previously because the jars were not wrapped in tissue paper and dropped out of the cardboard making them insecure the lids also came out of the bag. I could send a photo?

Great lids, promptly delivered.
I always get a prompt response to my order and quick delivery of high class lids. Only this time I completely forgot to order my most used lids the 70mm, hence my order of yesterday! 😅
I’m only a home cook but make lots of Marmalade for the village fete, my fellow residents supply me with lots of jars but I don’t know what they do to the lids😤
