Great example of tech enablement

I came to WalterLiving on the recommendation of a colleague. Played around with the AI to get a sense of how good the platform is. This is obviously subjective - but I threw everything I could at it - and it reasoned out circumstances and responses really well.

Convinced of the tech, I decided to work with humans, at Walter Living. :)

I was given fantastic, thoughtful, and prompt responses at every stage. They made the process of identifying the home, negotiating on our behalf, and finding a notary entirely seamless.

It genuinely allowed us, as first time buyers and internationals, not to feel overwhelmed and truly understand the process.

I had a great experience working with Paco during my house search. He was very supportive, explained all the details and Dutch regulations clearly, and was always available whenever I had questions. I highly recommend working with him.

Everything went smoothly and quickly. We had been searching for a suitable apartment for several months, but once we subscribed to Walter Living, we found the right one and won the bid in less than a month. The online portal is excellent—it’s very helpful for estimating how much to bid and reviewing the history of each apartment. The service is great, and even though it’s fully online, it was almost half the price of others while still offering great value.

We’d like to give special thanks to Hester for all her help. She answered every question thoroughly and clearly. Hester was incredibly kind, friendly, and patient, guiding us through both the process and the important documents with great care. Thank you so much, Hester!

After winning the bid Willem was always on top of things and coordinated everything very reliably. It saved my hours of work and a good amount of money. We had an excellent experience with Walter Living, and especially with Hester, who supported us throughout the entire buying process.

Hester was always immediately available—super quick, responsive, and incredibly agile. No matter the question or situation, she was on it right away. What really stood out was her attitude when we brought some unconventional challenges to the table: bidding on a not-yet-built house, and later navigating a property with an upside-down layout (living room on the top floor). She was always positive, proactive, and ready to take on the challenge without hesitation.

There was never any sense of hurry or pressure. Hester remained calm, patient, and genuinely supportive at every step, which made a potentially stressful process feel smooth and reassuring. Even when the seller’s agent was, in our view, not particularly best, Hester completely made up for it—she ensured the process was convenient, transparent, and truly in our best interest.

On top of the human side, Walter Living’s tools are world-class. Their property value and bidding analysis is incredibly detailed and available within seconds. I honestly don’t think it can get better than this level of insight and professionalism.

If there were 10 stars, I would give all 10 without hesitation. Highly, highly recommended.

Ontzettend snel hebben ze geschakeld en bij het eerste huis werd ons bod al geaccepteerd! Ze hebben een goed oog op de markt en denken met je budget mee. Dankzij Lisa ook een stuk minder overboden dan wij in eerste instantie wilden doen. Daarnaast zijn ze zeer vriendelijk en coachen ze je goed door het traject heen. Ontzettend tevreden met ze en heb ze meteen doorverwezen aan vrienden die ook op zoek zijn naar een huis.

Great experience overall, excellent service, communication and no hidden costs. We worked with Emmily and Paco and both of them were super helpful and supportive throughout the whole process of finding and purchasing the apartment. Paco saved us a few dozens thousand by advising to bid less than we were supposed to and still winning the bid.

We will definitely use Walter again if we need to purchase another apartment in the future 😉
